You Too Can Be A Good Little Member Of Society By Voting, Getting Vaxxed, Supporting ‘Climate Change’ Action

These people sound fun. Essentially, they’ve turned all of life into the realm of politics (non-paywalled here)

Do you want to be a good member of society? Voting, climate change efforts are a start, survey says

You go to work. You pay your taxes. You vote, and you may even go to a place of worship regularly. But which of these actions, if any, make you a good citizen?

According to a survey by the Pew Research Center, voting is a huge part of it.

The center did a survey this spring in 19 countries, presenting respondents with a list of actions to find out just what makes someone a good citizen in the public eye. Countries included the U.S., Canada, Belgium, France, Germany, Japan and Singapore.

Respondents were asked how much they consider the following actions an important part of being a good member of society:

  • Voting
  • Making choices that help reduce the effects of climate change
  • Keeping up with current events in other countries
  • Keeping up with politics in your own country
  • Getting a coronavirus vaccine
  • Joining demonstrations about issues important to you
  • Attending religious services regularly

Nothing along the lines of limiting government? Being true to yourself? Being yourself? Taking care of your family? I’m sure you can think of a bunch not related to politics. Nice to see they put something non-political in their poll, the religious aspect. Here are the results

I’m guessing most who answered were leftists. Heck, perhaps most asked were leftists.

Anyhow, the USA Today digs deep into the numbers. I’m not going to cover it all, but

U.S. numbers showed the largest difference in this category; 64% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents said vaccines are very important, while 20% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents said it is very important.

Interesting. I guess not all Democrats are that brainwashed.

Being vaccinated and boosted didn’t stop Ted from getting it, eh?

  1. Actually, the Distinguished Gentleman from California assumes that being vaccinated reduced the severity of his symptoms; he does not know it.

We have been told two things: that vaccinations, while, sorry, they don’t prevent either contracting or spreading the virus, do reduce the severity of symptoms, and that the omicron variant does not make people as sick as the previous ones, even though it is more easily transmissible.

So, if Omicron is less virulent, how do we know that the vaccines have reduced the effects?

The constant lies, fabrications, exaggerations and gaslighting over the last several years by the left to cover their corruption, election stealing, sexual perversion and government fraud has now put us thinking Americans (those of us that are left) in a position of not believing anything from the main stream media, social media or any governmental department from courts to climate. They are all liars. Proven liars. And what is worse is they refuse to admit it even when it’s thrown in their faces. Look how they are responding to the Twitter Files.

Even now with the video, affidavits and Twitter revelations dowd still denies the democommie theft of the 2020 election. It amazes. Even now that we all know the “vaccine” was a fake, Fauchi was a damn liar, the entire scamdemic was a dry run from China to get Americans used to the perpetual control of a “world government” run by commies, leftists such as dowd and H still buy every fake fact thrown at them by THE SAME PEOPLE who have been proven liars for the last 3 years.

We no longer have a democracy (not that we ever did). A good rule of life is that anything important is excluded from anything resembling the democratic process.

The same goes for their bullshit “climate science”. Science is not a consensus. This natural lack of democracy is most evident in science. If someone comes along claiming that he has discovered a new element, the science men do not call together a meeting and vote on the claim. The claim must be backed with proof and that proof is analyzed and challenged to verify it. Despite what the Gaia worshippers say, consensus only exists within science where proof is not present. The word “consensus” is a signal of doubt, not proof of the claim.

A good rule of life is that anything important is excluded from anything resembling the democratic process. No business runs on democratic lines. Armies do not run according to democratic principles. Those two areas are arguably two of the most important bits of any human society and they run according to fascist principles. Even family life avoids democracy as much as possible. The expression “head of the household” exists because households naturally have a leader.

If one wants to understand why voting is a pointless waste of time, you just have to ask why no important things are ever put to a vote? Immigration is arguably the most important issue facing the country. Politicians avoid it like the plague. Even the “good politicians” speak in tongues when the issue is raised. Meanwhile, they scheme in private to do what they know is against the interests of the people. No one voting for it will dare mention it when on the campaign trail.

I don’t think a democrat politician has uttered a truthful statement since Daniel Patrick Moynihan said: Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts. The last truthful democrat.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The vaccinations REDUCE spreading the virus and does INCREASE survival.

While it’s true that later variants appear to be less virulent than alpha and beta, but it still stands that the unvaccinated are at least 4 times more likely to die from Covid infection than the vaccinated.

It’s possible to that the unvaccinated also have more comorbitities, e.g., rural, obese, older, fewer healthcare resources, other preexisting conditions.

Note too that over 200 Americans still die each day from Covid (and rising). (365 x 200 = 73,000 dead per year)

      • Dana says:

        The distinguished Mr Dowd wrote:

The vaccinations REDUCE spreading the virus and does INCREASE survival.

How, exactly, has this been measured? Remember: both Anthong Fauci and Rachel Walensky, both of whom once wrongly said that if you were vaccinated you would not contract COVID, that eventually everyone would contract it.

As I’ve stated previously, both Mrs Pico and I caught the thing, but such was only confirmed by at home tests, tests which did not include a smart phone, the way some do, and thus there’s no record that we got it.

We’ve treated it with Motrin and Mucinex, and that’s it, both medications being over the counter. Unless Big Brother is following my blogging and Twitter account — something I would have though far less likely while President Trump was in office — the government has no way of putting us into the compiled statistics, and thus no way to know how many people have contracted the Chinese Coronavirus.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          Mr Dana,

The best evidence that the vaccines reduce the death rate (easily measured) is that the unvaccinated are several fold more likely to die from Covid than the vaccinated.

No doubt, the spread of Covid is greater than reported for the reason you cite. My wife and I, and sons, all vaccinated, all tested positive for Covid over the summer and were largely asymptomatic. We tested because one of us had a confirmed exposure at work.

      • david7134 says:

        Jeff,
It is apparent that you are lying. Can you explain why?
I believe the original strain was call omicron, not alpha. Regardless, the illness is extremely mild, of course the original carried a mortality of less than 0.3%. A mild illness that did not warrant the destruction to the nation by the Dems. Maybe we will get some answers when Fauci and the Dem leaders are put on trial.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          daffy doc,

          Please point out the lies.

Omicron is a later variant and still in circulation. Delta and Alpha were earlier variants and not in circulation.

Seasonal flu does not kill over 1 million Americans in less that 2 years.

The nation was not destroyed. And certainly not by the Dems.

It’s a connie wet dream to see Dr Fauci hanged. Good luck.

Yeah, Be a good little vaxtard because… shut up, that’s why.

    Vaxtard
Someone who worships covid mRNA shots religiously. These people called for the persecution of people who didn’t take the shot and signed their babies up to be in big pharma experiments. They tend to be low IQ liberal NPCs who think politicians and big pharma have their best interest in mind.
VaxTard : “1 am fully vaccinated and boosted, and I just tested positive for covid 19. I am grateful for the protection my vaccines continue to provide.”

  3. H says:

Yale study shoes that after vaccines were introduced Republicans had death rate 76% higher than Dems
This was inspite of Republicans rubbing their chests with ivermectin
Covid per Capita death rates were as high as 437 per 100000
    Red state

To as low as 122 blue state
As many as 500000more GOP. Voters may have died compared to Dems
Apparently ivermectin efficacy was a bit over rated
However I understand some people are using it in ICE engines to boost MPG.
Please let us all know how well it is working for you.
It is not at this time being either approved or recommended by Honda
    And Trump’s no slogan
    STOP THE REAL!!! 2024

Every word is a lie including the and is. You are an idiot who believes everything the leftist tyrants throw at you. Think for yourself moron.

If you’re dumb enough to believe a flu kills by political persuasion then you deserve it.

      No Commies in ’24.

  4. Joe says:

Wow, to think I am almost a “good little member of society”! I vote and cut down trees with my gas powered chainsaw, split the logs with my gas powered splitter , haul the wood in my Diesel powered pickup and burn them to heat the house. I don’t suppose the warmists will appreciate my contribution to “climate change”.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Burning wood has little long-term effects on global warming.

The nation thanks you for voting, regardless of whom you voted for.

  5. Leanna says:

Wouldn’t that make you a sucker?

    • Joe says:

I don’t believe so. I’m just one guy sticking his finger in the air at warmists. Me burning wood is for economic reasons, if it messes with their global warming B.S., so be it. I didn’t mention that I told the medico’s to shove their Covid shot up their posterior exit portal.

  6. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Voting is important??? The horror. Said Mr Teach:

I’m guessing most who answered were leftists. Heck, perhaps most asked were leftists.

LOL. Do far-righties hear themselves? Only lefttists think voting is important??

Far-righties have never liked the idea of voting by the masses. What if the ‘wrong’* people vote? The horror.

DJ tRump voiced it out loud for the far-righties. Teach agrees.

And remember, with righties it’s ALWAYS projection. They accuse Dems of trying to establish an authoritarian nation by stealing elections, while the righties are trying to steal elections, abolish the Constitution, and rule by power.
