I laundered the comforter and the sheets today, drying both on the clothesline, because Elaine likes the way the bedding smells when I do that.
And I had to repair the bed, ’cause I broke it. No, not the way I’d really like people to believe, but because the metal support rail failed, the screws pulling out of the IKEA particle board side rail. Several 1¼” screws, driven through the metal — after drilling holes, of course — and into the “wood” has the bed repaired. The bed is about ten years old.
