Brandon shut down domestic oil production. Now, with his “Presidency” dying faster than his dying brain, he begs US companies to start drilling again– and finds out that will take years.

“When the White House started calling around in a panic, they thought shale oil production could grow sharply in the near term — like in a matter of months or quarters,” said Bob McNally, head of consultancy Rapidan Energy.

“They were shocked to learn that that’s like asking for blood from a stone. It’s almost impossible.”

“Begs them to start drilling” yet does nothing to cease fire in the war on Oil his administration is waging. Naturally, oil companies know whatever he says is just made for the news coverage, not something they can really act on. If this were Trump, we would be getting 24/7 news coverage about his total incompetence on basic economics. Again, we don’t need to speculate about that, it is exactly what they did.

  3. Elwood P. Dowd says:

It’s a lie to claim that President Biden shut down US oil production. The pandemic DID greatly reduce production though.

In late 2019 the US production peaked at 12.97 million bbls/d. By early 2020 production had dropped to 9.71 million bbls/d. Now, production stands at 11.65 million bbls/d. Investors in oil production are nervous about investing.

The industry is gradually expanding output, which the US Energy Information Administration expects to hit 11.9mn b/d before the year is out. But this has not been quick enough for the administration, which wants a rapid ramp-up to douse the price rise.

One factor behind this reticence is Wall Street, which was burnt by huge losses as domestic oil companies consistently poured revenues into ever-greater growth. Today shareholders are demanding returns.

Should President Biden temporarily seize oil production and make them produce more?

h/t to drowningpuppies for the citation!

No, Biden clearly said he is eliminately our critical energy sector because of the fake carbon concerns. He then said and took actions that resulted in the destruction of our energy and economy. As to citations, just read the news.

Rimjob: It’s a lie to claim that President Biden shut down US oil production.
      Well then…
Brandon just in the first few months:

? Biden’s plan to cancel Keystone pipeline signals a rocky start with Canada.
—The Washington Post, January 19th, 2021.

? Biden pulls 3 offshore oil lease sales, curbing new drilling this year.
      —The Washington Post, May 12th.

? Biden administration won’t appeal judge’s ruling revoking Gulf of Mexico drilling leases.
      —The Washington Post, February 28th.

It’s funny that Rimjob, dipshit that he is, thinks he knows it all but really doesn’t.

Dowd, your ability to talk out your ass is amazing since we figure your head would be blocking it. Kudo, moron. All our gas problems are due to Putin, the greedy oil companies and Trump. You live in a world of lies and distortions so insane you sound like a 2 year old.

FJB and the commie bastards that support him.

    Lets go Brandon.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who has admitted that she was wrong to dismiss fears about inflation before, shrugged off questions about a potential recession in an interview with CNBC Thursday.

“Don’t look to me to announce it. I’m not going to announce it. I don’t think we’re going to have a recession,” she said.

Using only Janet Yellen, Rachel Levine, Pete Buttpeg and Merrick Garland I could create enough negative commercials to beat the democrats for the next four cycles.

These people (and the jerkoff that hired them) are complete and utter failures at their positions and weirdo on top of it. It’s a clown show of perverts, fags and commies who hate America, Americans and freedom. They all should be tarred, feathered and run out of DC on a rail (Buttpeg would like that).

FJB no more jerkoffs for president please.
