As I believe the only black guy who comments here I need to interject this. I know Mr. Dowd thinks he’s black but in spite of him identifying as such he’s not. So it’s up to me to ask What’s with all the fat chicks all of a sudden? This came up today at church so I’m not the only one noticing. Has heart attack bait suddenly become the in thing? First Sports Illustrated promotes fat ugly broads now I keep seeing ads on TV showing the same. The TV ads have about 6 or 7 morbidly obese women of mixes races. And they’re in underwear and doing strange poses that they shouldn’t do on TV even if they were hot. I mean fat is ugly in white but in black it’s a whole new level ugly and I can say that because I know some ugly black women. A lot more than any of you white guys do at least. But why do they show on TV broads with huge lumps of fat running from their neck to their ass. Thighs with so much cellulite they have the texture of a golf ball and camel toes that look like sofa cushions. It’s revolting. Can you imagine the stench? Are they actually trying to increase heart attacks, diabetes and strokes among women? Or is this just another leftist exercise in lying to make people think fat is beautiful? Next they’ll groom 5 year olds to get fat. The immorality of the left never sleeps.
Likewise have noticed the fat women, strange.
The average American adult woman is a size 12, so this may be an attempt to appeal to them as viewers.
While there have been some commercials which have significantly larger women, what I have seen on news and weather shows are women who aren’t size 1, but who top out around size 10.
Fat girls and women disgust real men and should stay hidden to protect men’s feelings, as women’s prime directive is to please men. It’s in the Bible and the Constitution. And shaming should start early in school. Obese women start as obese girls. In fact, how about ‘fat schools’ like Hippo High or Massive Middle School where all the fat kids are trucked. They’d be separate but equal.
Why do you feel red states have such a high proportion of fatness compared to blue states?
We suspect more overweight women are seen in the media since even as disgusting as they are to you, they are still people, at least in a technical sense. It could be an effort to make the overweight feel less shame. It’s that dang ‘wokeness’ pushing the outrageous concept that women aren’t here JUST to please men. Sick, isn’t it?
What’s next? Electing some obese guy for president?
The pastor is right, at least in the general sense. Our crime rates have gone up as church attendance has gone down. How much better of a society would we have if more people accepted the Ten Commandments and actually tried to live by them?
Imagine what our society would be like if women no longer had children out of wedlock, and divorce was so seriously frowned upon that few couples broke up.
The vast majority of men in prison grew up without their fathers in the home. The most significant indicator for poverty is a single parent household.

You’re not suggesting we teach Christianity in public schools are you?
If a child asks if God is real, what should a public school teacher say? Should that be covered in the Parental Rights Bills sweeping red states?

As you well know, my point was that advertising works. When you advertise bad things, bad things happen.
So all your babble about teachers/class rooms/questions is just meant to avoid that fact.
Also, it is a fact that back in the day we started the school day with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. The parking lot over at high school was full of trucks with guns in gun racks and many in the car’s trunk.
Yet we had no mass shootings.
Many boys, and some girls, were taught how to handle guns around the age of 10. That would be safety, cleaning and shooting. I learned on a 410 bolt action at age 10 and got a 22 rifle for my 12th bday.
If you are taught respect and responsibility the odds are that you will be respectful of others and act responsible.
