What’s On The G20 Docket? Climate Crisis (scam), COVID, And Taxes

It’s a wonderful thing that the leaders of the G20 nations, and their huge posses, flew into Rome ahead of the climate conference in Scotland to talk about how they are going to control your lives and take more of your money. But, remember, ‘climate change’ is totally about science, not politics

Climate, COVID and corporate tax on the G-20 agenda in Rome

The leaders of the world’s economic powerhouses on Saturday took part in the first in-person summit since the coronavirus pandemic, with climate change, COVID-19 economic recovery and the global minimum corporate tax rate on the agenda.

Italian Premier Mario Draghi welcomed the Group of 20 heads of state to Rome’s Nuvola cloud-like convention center in the Fascist-era EUR neighborhood, which was sealed off from the rest of the capital. Saturday’s opening session was focused on global health and the economy, with a meeting on the sidelines among U.S. President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to discuss next steps on Iran’s nuclear program. On the eve of the meeting, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that the Glasgow meeting risked failure over the still-tepid commitments from big polluters, and challenged the G-20 leaders to overcome “dangerous levels of mistrust” among themselves and with developing nations.

“Let’s be clear — there is a serious risk that Glasgow will not deliver,″ Guterres told reporters in Rome.

A recent U.N. environment report concluded that announcements by dozens of countries to aim for “net-zero” emissions by 2050 could, if fully implemented, limit a global temperature rise to 2.2 degrees Celsius (4 F). That’s closer but still above the less stringent target agreed in the Paris climate accord of keeping the temperature increase to well below 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 F) compared with pre-industrial times.

Oh, good, people with carbon footprints way bigger than the average 1st World citizen want to lecture and make deals which will effect the Little People.

The G-20, though, will likely be a celebration of one agreement, on a global minimum corporate tax. The G-20 leaders are expected to formally affirm their commitment to establishing a 15% global minimum corporate tax rate by 2023, a measure aimed at preventing multinational companies from stashing profits in countries where they pay few or no taxes.

Guess what? Cost of goods will go up. Fewer people will be hired. They will make less charitable contributions, spread less money out. They know this, and don’t care. It’s a great talking point, ie “we’ll tax these big companies and give you all sorts of Free Stuff”, but, it never works out like portrayed.

No. What WILL happen is multinational corporations will base their decisions, not on wherever they can find the lowest tax rate, but on other considerations – workers, markets etc.

We understand the conservative sentiment that all taxes are theft or confiscation while liberals believe:

Taxation is the price which we pay for civilization, for our social, civil and political institutions, for the security of life and property, and without which, we must resort to the law of force.

Regulated capitalism is the most progressive, fair, and economic system that has evolved. Part of that regulation involves the fair taxation of profits. Taxes are used to support defense, infrastructure, the safety net, research, education and more.

        Bill,
All Elwood does is lie. His intent is just to get you upset. He called one of the commenters wife a whore, for no reason. As a result he drove that person away from the blog. He does this frequently. Please, please freeze him out.

I hate to break it to you there fellah but we choose where to put down our roots based upon the amount of kickbacks we get from local politicians and how many woke minions we have to hire to meet our quota. Taxes don’t mean nothing to us. We just raise our prices.

See that’s why so many corporations are in california and did their charter outta Rhode Island. Lots of crooked people willing to give us a crap ton of stuff to move there and start hiring them wokies.

So don’t dare say we make informed choices. We don’t its whoever’s pockets be deep enuff.

Teach you sfe always so afraid of thd future!! Relax. Take a deep breathe.
You prophesied economic ruin if the minimum wage went to $15
Restaurants forced to close! No jobs for high school kids McDs forced to raise prices
Well last month data showed wage increases well over the rate of inflation
You keep saying that renewables will raise extricate prices, hasn’t happened. That Americans don’t want EVs, 160000 deposits for the new Ford EV pick shoes that there isn’t any rdL difference in thd price of an EV and an ICE vehicle.toyota showing prototype car with solid state battery and announcing production date with 2x range

I don’t know what this Hairy guy be smokin, but we needs the recipe. The economy is just fine? Ain’t he looked around?

guess not. He’s one of those Communist pay for play chinese hit men that say whatever the bosses want him to say.

I don’t know what data he pulled from his ass but It aint arrived at our doors yet. Our people want raises and they aint even started to work yet. Hell half of them got hired away from us by the corporation two doors down cause they promised them a 2 hour woork week and a bag of tootsie rolls.

Unfortunately we sell stuff more spensive then turds on a stick so we couldn’t match them so nows we are paying the border patrol to just let them illegals in and paying for the airfare to fly them straight to our door step. Only ways we can have us some workers since Americans aint got the balls to come outta there basements yet.

Good thing taxes in the U.S. are set by congress, not by G-20 conferences.

Dang it! Now we can’t go to Virginia and accept huge under the table pay offs cause the Democrats get caught cheating yet again. Don’t these guys got a brain. And people wonder why 90 percent of the billionaires are Democrats or leftists.

The campaign of Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe accepted $350,000 from Lyca Tel LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of a UK holding company, owned, and controlled by Sri Lankan-born British national Allirajah Subaskaran, reports The Washington Free Beacon.

The National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) over the report.

Federal election laws indicate that candidates may not accept contributions from foreign nationals.

Perhaps what should be on the docket is a way to end this pandemic in a few months.

Down here in Ecuador we find it relatively easy to receive Ivermectin because Central and South America face conditions that require the dispensing of Ivermectin.

Merck wanted to cash in on the pandemic and they lost the rights to Ivermectin in 1996. Pfizer, J&J and AstraZeneca, and a few others wanted to cash in on Covid with their questionable vaccinations. None of these people care about how many people die. The left just wants to use this CRISIS for the GREAT RESET.

In the meantime thousands of people are having horrible adverse reactions to the injection and nothing is said about it. Their stories remain untold.

Greetings from South America where there is more sanity here than in the USA. I am not sure why people are fleeing for the United States. Well, I am. They are being paid. But still, they are ill-informed and poorly advised on making the trek for the pittance they are paid.

Does anyone wonder how groups of 1000’s can manage to travel on foot from Ecuador to the Mexico/USA border and survive? Food, water, medicines, drugs, diapers? No. I can tell you. I was at a rally of them preparing to be sent off to the USA and people were distributing currency, diapers, water bottles, food, etc.

It is organized. It has one plan. To destroy the United States but unfortunately for you guys, I think you have several thousand corporations and a million leftist democrats that really do not need the help from these Illegals.

Good luck. Fight long and hard for America. It is the last vestigae of hope on this planet.
