Surprise: Hotcoldwetdry Biggest Part Of Biden’s Build Back Better Bill

It’s interesting that the people pushing Doing Something about the climate crisis (scam) are the people least likely to make changes in their own lives. Biden took a fossil fueled flight to Rome to meet with the Pope on a jumbo jet, with a backup jet following, along with multiple fighter jets, and a giants convoy of fossil fueled vehicles. He’ll then reboard and fly to Scotland for the UN IPCC COP26 meeting. Yet, here’s his bill

Climate Change Became the Largest Part of Biden Spending Bill

st greta carClimate has emerged as the single largest category in President Biden’s new framework for a huge spending bill, placing global warming at the center of his party’s domestic agenda in a way that was hard to imagine just a few years ago.

As the bill was pared down from $3.5 trillion to $1.85 trillion, paid family leave, free community college, lower prescription drugs for seniors and other Democratic priorities were dropped — casualties of negotiations between progressives and moderates in the party. But $555 billion in climate programs remained.

It was unclear on Thursday if all Democrats will support the package, which will be necessary if it is to pass without Republican support in a closely divided Congress. Progressive Democrats in the House and two pivotal moderates in the Senate, Joe Manchin III of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, did not explicitly endorse the president’s framework. But Mr. Biden expressed confidence that a deal was in sight.

Progressives, like the wankers in The Squad, are upset, but, ultimately, they’ll vote for it, because at least they get some.

The centerpiece of the climate spending is $300 billion in tax incentives for producers and purchasers of wind, solar and nuclear power, inducements intended to speed up a transition away from oil, gas and coal. Buyers of electric vehicles would also benefit, receiving up to $12,500 in tax credits — depending on what portion of the vehicle parts were made in America.

But, these same nutjobs won’t allow nuclear to be built, and extreme-enviros will often protest and sue to block the building of wind and solar in certain areas. As for the tax credits: they won’t make a difference for most EV purchasers. This hooks up the upper upper middle class and the rich.

It will also create a federal group of climate nags

According to NPR, the Civilian Climate Corps would “employ thousands of young people to address the threat of climate change, strengthen the country’s natural defenses and maintain its ailing public lands.” President Biden previously hailed it as a “unified national response to climate change.”

What will they actually be doing? The bill is unclear about that, and Brandon has failed to release any material on how this would operate, what the duties would be. At that NPR link

Administration officials and Democratic lawmakers all aim to pay corps members at least $15 an hour, plus offer health care and other benefits. They see the jobs as primarily being housed in the Interior and Agriculture departments and the program closely resembling existing initiatives such as AmeriCorps, the Peace Corps and the Corps Network, an association of more than 130 smaller conservation corps still being operated around the country.

Most of the jobs would be short term, with the goal of launching corps members into environmental and outdoors-focused careers.

So easy, high paying jobs for young people to get them to vote Democrat, and no one knows what they’ll actually be doing.

The package, as a whole, will simply increase the cost of living, cost of energy, cost of food, and lower the standard of living. Well, not for rich folks like Biden and his Comrades in Congress.

First: The GOP only supports tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations – which was the trumpublicans only significant legislation.

Second: Senate Democrats have no margin and cannot lose a single Senator.

Third: Two “conservative” Democratic Senators are blocking many of the more progressive investments, in pre-K, health, paid family leave, free community college, lower prescription costs for seniors, national broadband and insisting that the 10 year spend be slashed.

The investments in clean energy have not been cut.

We get it. Against all scientific evidence nuCons reject the reality of CO2-dependent climate change. In general, this has become a pattern of denying reality. Covid-19 is a Chinese communist plot. Covid-19 is just another flu. Covid-19 is just a stepping stone to communist autocratic control of America. Significant cheating stole the election for President Biden. Saying Merry Christmas has been banned. Democrats want to ban all firearms. Democrats run pedophile rings out of pizza parlors. The wealthy are the job creators. Global warming is a hoax and a stepping stone to communist autocratic control of America.

A vital Democracy cannot exist when some 40% of the population are out of touch with reality.

Tax credits are not things with which the working class can but a Tesla; tax credits are things which reduce your total tax bill after you file your income taxes. Quarterly filers can get a break a bit earlier, but the working class almost exclusively file once a year, and then have to wait on refunds. Buying a Tesla in June means, for the working class, getting to actually see that tax credit, if they file on the first of February, maybe as a check in March, eight or nine months after they’ve bought their plug-in electric, and eight or nine months since they had to finance the purchase price, not including the tax credit.

Of course, the buyers of new cars, whether plug-in electrics or gasoline powered, are normally wealthier and higher earning anyway; the tax credit for buying a plug-in electric is simply welfare for the well-to-do.

The sad thing about you, and the rest of the well-to-do left, is that if you ever were poor, ever did have to scrape by, you’ve completely forgotten what it was like. Anyone who understood working class life would have understood and realize my argument, without me having to point it out. A tax credit for buying a new Tesla isn’t going to help the truck driver making $20 an hour or the waitress living off tips. You, on the other hand, if what you’ve told us about your wealth in the past is true, could go out and but a Tesla, maybe even for cash, and get that up to $12,500 tax credit.

Of course, as much as you’ve berated us on plug-in electrics, you should already be driving a plug-in electric, right?

And a civil society cannot exist when one person calls another commenter’s wife a whore.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

We reflect the civility with which we are addressed. Some commenters can dish it but not take it. C’est la vie.

We can’t have a civil society when one person claims another commenter “repeatedly ass-raped his prepubescent grandson”, can we?

Or when one person calls another commenter’s wife delusional and a rape victim.

Or when one person calls another commenter a faggot, child killer, communist, rapist, fascist, moron, hypocrite, idiot, liar, stupid, asshole, fool, pervert, murderer, gullible, crazy, retarded, mentally ill and on and on.

Or when one refers to female politicians as whores, bitches, cocksuckers and cunts. ‘Cameltoe’ Harris. How civil.

Or when one refers to Hispanics as “dirt people”.

Or when a former president insists that the election he lost by 7 million votes was “rigged”.

On Jan 6 he rallied his troops.
‘We won this election, and we won it by a landslide.’
        ‘We will stop the steal.’
‘We will never give up. We will never concede. It doesn’t happen.’
‘You don’t concede when there’s theft involved. Our country has had enough. We will not take it anymore.’
‘If you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore.’
‘We’re going to walk down to the Capitol and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.’
‘I’ll be there with you! We’re never going to take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong.’
‘Mike Pence is going to have to come through for us, and if he doesn’t, that would be a sad day for our country. Because you’re sworn to uphold the Constitution.’

And his followers attacked the US Capitol in an attempt to stop Congress’s certification of the vote.

Grab ’em by the pussy tRump: Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand “begging for campaign funds (and would do anything for them)”. Classy.

What, I have to wonder, did June, Kye’s wife, ever say about you? As far as I know, she’s never commented her, or anywhere else.

Sure, Kye has been as unpleasant to you as you have been to him, so he’s fair game. June is not.

That’s the thing about the internet; you can safely insult the wife of an elderly man with COPD, who lives 890 miles away. Robert E Howard wrote, in The Tower of the Elephant:

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

And so you are: you say things here that you would never dare to say to people’s faces, because you realize that you’d get your candy ass kicked.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

And my wife never did anything to gitarcarver, nor my grandson anything to drowningpuppies.

Vice-President Harris never did anything to kye, but he called her a whore and a cocksucker.

Don’t we all say things anonymously that we’d never say in person? Would kye call VP Harris a whore to her face? Probably not, and not because he was afraid but because civil people don’t act that way. Would kye call me a faggot to my face? Although he might think I might coldcock I probably wouldn’t. I’ve asked before if you’d slur a gay man or a lesbian directly when not hiding behind a keyboard. Would you or kye call a Capitol police officer a fascist to their face?

Guys such you and kye slur gays, transgendered, Blacks, Hispanics but it’s unlikely you’d do that to their faces. Would david say “Fuck you, Biden!” to the president? Would Teach call President Biden, “Surrender Joe” to his face?

In this rather genteel post (for Teach) is mentioned “nutjobs”, “extreme-enviros”, “wankers (masturbators) in The Squad”, “climate nags”, “Brandon” (substitute for Fuck you, Biden!), “Biden and his Comrades” (we know what Comrades implies). So excuse us if we’re not impressed by your calls for civility. Mr Teach doesn’t set the best of examples.

Sadly, the internet is a nasty, unpoliced wasteland.

Two polls out last night show Youngkin in Virginia now up by 8 points in the Fox Poll which again is a poll conducted by never trumpers and used by many democrats for internal polling. The IPP poll has Younkin up by 4 points now. Fox is notoriously wrong on almost every poll they ever conduct but they usually have the lean correct IE leans left or leans right. IPP is the same. So take these polls with a grain of salt as far as how many points Younkin is ahead. But still to be tied or ahead by every poll conducted in the last few weeks and there has been a dozen is astounding.

Breakdowns show him winning every category except the black vote and that one Younkin still enjoys 24 percent and nearly 40 percent among Hispanics.

NJ continues to tighten. The democrats continue to push a highly flawed, highly partisan, and highly unneeded bill. Which is driving the votes away from the democrats and towards the GOP. The left will tell you themselves they have no message. They just want to spend.

They want free money for free things when the economy is a dumpster fire with nothing to buy which is fueling inflation to astounding heights. COLA’s should be 20 percent this year but they won’t be. Seniors will be lucky to get 1 or 2 percent which will drive every senior in the country to vote GOP in 2022. Actually, inflation was only measured at 9/10ths of 1 percent for the 3 months they use to calculate the COLA.

Virginia is a litmus test for 2022. McCaulif should win by 10 points since Biden got 81 million votes. He should win by 30 points since the left is so popular. And do not forget the Virginia house is up this year as well and the Dems say they will win the house 55-45 but in wave elections, I doubt that is true. The Dems will lose Virginia this year.

Because the Dems have one message which appears to tell every person to go screw themselves elections have consequences and we will make you pay with blood.

Despite the fact that reams and reams of scientific evidence – real, actual, verifiable scientific evidence and not Michael Mann’s hockey “schtick” – completely debunk the myth of anthropogenic “global warming” or “climate change,” the junta is going to turn the critical problem of a fouled supply chain into an absolute catastrophe.

Oil is life. Ditto times a thousand for carbon dioxide.

You do away with petrochemicals and you do away with more than just gas-guzzling evil SUVs. Virtually everything you interact with on a daily basis is either made from or relies on some form of carbon compound for its existence and that includes our FOOD. Ironically, the ghoulish concoctions from Pfizer, Moderna and J&J as well as real, useful medicines that actually fight real diseases would be impossible to manufacture without oil.

Above copied from a “skeptical” blogger…

Real, actual, verifiable scientific evidence support the the theory of anthropogenic global warming.

      • Jl says:

Sorry, J,, it most certainly doesn’t. Right now there’s just a correlation, with the causation still not proven. And, as you’ve seen there are hundreds of peer-reviewed papers alleging other causes.
And even if was proven, that itself would be irrelevant-it would be the alleged effects that would matter, not just “it’s warming!”
You boys still have a long way to go…

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          Jill,

It most certainly does. You may have heard this before but scientific theories are not proven, but as supporting evidence accumulates a scientific consensus forms – a consensus that can be invalidated with contrary evidence. Typing that “hundreds of peer-reviewed papers alleging other causes” doesn’t invalidate the theory.

          Warming is already having effects.

You girls still have a long way to go…

          • Jl says:

But there are hundreds of non-refuted peer-reviewed papers, as you know because you’ve been shown them many times.
No one has to invalidate a theory that has no testable evidence-like agw. There’s still no test showing CO2 back radiation warming anything by simply adding more of it. . “A consensus forms…” Oh, my-the irrelevant consensus “argument”. Consensus doesn’t require proof or accuracy, it merely establishes that a group of individuals agree on a certain position.
“Warming is already having effects”. Yes, positive effects. The earth is greener than it was.

Denmark Personal Income Tax Rate. The Personal Income Tax Rate in Denmark stands at 55.80 percent. The personal Income Tax Rate in Denmark averaged 60.45 percent from 1995 until 2018, reaching an all-time high of 65.90 percent in 1997 and a record low of 55.40 percent in 2010. This is a culmalative tax rate based upon all taxes including the VAT.

Denmarks VAT or value-added tax. The current standard rate of VAT in Denmark is 25%. That makes Denmark one of the countries with the highest value-added tax, alongside Norway, Sweden, and Croatia.

    Oct 21, 2021 · However, there are some services that are not subsidized by the state for which you will have to pay entirely or partially. Public healthcare in Denmark does not include: medication: some is subsidized but you will still have to pay between 50 and 25% of the price;

Do you need a supplemental insurance in Denmark? Third-party liability insurance (‘ansvarsforsikring’) – covering expenses if you have to pay compensation to another person
Accident insurance (‘ulykkesforsikring’) – covering the financial consequences of an accident
Home insurance (‘indboforsikring’) – for your personal belongings
Car insurance (‘bilforsikring’) – If you bring a car with you, please make sure it is properly insured. If you decide to take out the insurance in Denmark, try contacting some of the larger insurance companies.

People do not get paid very well at all in Denmark and 90 percent of all people live in apartments and daycare is mandatory or you are looked at as terrorists. Even the royal family uses public daycare. However, you also have to pay 500 Danish bucks to have daycare.

Denmark of course is the go to jack-off socialist country the progressives in this nation are trying to emulate. It of course demands total capitulation to the government.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mostly true but: People do not get paid very well at all in Denmark is not.

Danes median income is very close to that of the US. Danish workers are 68% unionized and even McDonald’s workers make $20 an hour and receive 5 wks per year paid vacation. The poverty level in Denmark is extremely low compared to other OECD nations.

daycare is mandatory or you are looked at as terrorists

Not exactly. In 2018, a law was passed making daycare mandatory for families in “socially marginalized” areas termed “ghettos”, that children from 1 yr up attend nursery for 25 hr per week until school age.

Parents who have the requisite Danish skills do not have to do so if they choose to take responsibility for council-set targets for their child’s Danish and social skills at home. The intention is that the child’s Danish language development will be supported and that, through play, the child can be introduced to Danish traditions, celebrations, standards and values. Should the parents refuse, they risk losing the social support they receive in child benefit.

Wouldn’t most American conservatives agree with this approach in the US if applied to immigrant families here (Muslims, Africans and Hispanics)? “Speak American!!”

Danes score very high (often #1) in “life satisfaction” scores, even higher than US residents.

      • Jordan L Bean says:

Would you be in favor of sending children to Christian-run Conservative Daycares?

I didn’t think so. Yet in Denmark people are made to send their children to State-run nurseries.

The left desires to send children to state-run/Unionized leftist daycares/elementary/Jr.high/High school and Colleges to indoctrinate the children. This will be the final straw for this nation.

We know what Lenis and Stalin said about the children. Give them to us and we will make great communists out of them or something like that.
