Team Obama Launches “Climate Change” Website

Because, really, what else can they do? Their foreign policy is a disaster, just like their economic policies. He’s nominating people that are so hard-core leftist that Senate Dems refuse to even vote on them. Obamacare is beyond a mess. Prices are rising. Wages are down. So now is the time to offer ideas to local governments on how to institute more rules and regulations

(The Blaze) Even with recent survey’s finding that climate change was not a top priority for Americans and many thinking that it’s actually exaggerated in the media, the Obama administration is pushing forward on its fight against global warming in a geeky fashion.

The White House on Wednesday announced an initiative to provide private companies and local governments better access to already public climate data, which it is displaying through maps and even gaming-type simulations.. The idea is that with that localized data they can help the public understand the risks they face, especially in coastal areas where flooding is a big issue.

The government also is working with several high-tech companies, such as Google, Microsoft and Intel, to come up with tools to make communities more resilient in dealing with weather extremes, such as flooding, heat waves and drought. They include computer simulations for people to use and see what would happen with rising seas and other warming scenarios. Companies will also hold brainstorming sessions with computer programmers aimed at designing new apps on disaster risk. The New York Times reported that companies such as these will be vital at making the majority of information on the site usable to the average person.

The website is at data.gov/climate. One of the data sets is on population, so Obama and his peeps must be buying into the notion pushed by many of the seriously hardcore climate cultists regarding population reduction. Here’s a great data set you won’t see on the website

And this one, regarding the models

Warmists keep making prediction, which turn out to be wrong. Hence their push to tell us what will happen at the end of the century, when no one will remember.

What cynical jackarses. The only flooding anyone has to worry about this year is during the spring thaw in the heartland after this record-setting frozen winter.

After the utter failure of the ACA websites this should be fun to watch. I wonder how many millions will be spent on this train wreck?

  3. Stosh says:

If this website works, we have to assume they spent more than the 600 million they did on O’care.

    Teach,

So which is it? You say in other threads that the Earth is warming but here you show Monckton’s representation of RSS data that says no warming when analyzed over 17.5 years.

According to the other 7 data sets the Earth continues to warm. Funny how you and Monckton only cite the data set that shows the least warming.

Funny too, that if you analyze RSS data for 20, 15, even 5 years you see warming. Why do you suppose that Monckton picked 17.5 years of data? That seems like an odd number to choose. In 1998 the Earth experienced a massive El Nino where warm water deep in the Pacific is transfers heat to the atmosphere. From 1997 to 1998 the surface temperature jumped almost 0.3 C. Guess what happens when you search for and start your analysis from the highest data point you can?

It’s pretty simple. The Earth is still warming as the Sun’s heat is retained by the CO2 we’re adding by burning fossil fuels. We need to cut the amount of CO2 we add to the atmosphere.

And once again Jeffery shows his inability to understand what is being said.

Teach offers a data set that won’t be shown on the Obama Climate site because it shows something different than people like Jeffery want to believe.

Instead of wondering why you won’t see the entire truth on the site, Jeffery tries to attack the actual data.

It’s a massive fail, but that’s what we expect from Jeffery.

He then goes on to ignore the fact that computer models are matching up against actual data. In his world, the models don’t matter even though models are a part of the cult he worships.

We need to cut the amount of CO2 we add to the atmosphere.

Says the guy who doesn’t reduce his carbon footprint.

Oh, and by the way Jeffery, Al Gore and you are still hypocrites in the AGW debate and your unwillingness of you, Gore and people of your ilk to change your lifestyle shows that your talk about AGW is bluster and that you don’t actually believe what you type.

Actions speak louder than words Jeffery.

So any government database with census information is part of a plot to exterminate the populace? Jeezus, you guys have fried brains. What a cesspool.

    Jeffery,

So any government database with census information is part of a plot to exterminate the populace?

Does population relate to climate or not, Jeffery?

If so, then Teach’s contention for the inclusion of the database is true.

If not, there is no need for the database to be included.

It is your call but once again in order to be just a contrarian, you show a tremendous lack of critical thinking and ignorance.

Beaten again by facts and logic, Jeffery slinks away while describing his life and thought processes.
