Schoolkids Won’t Know What Life Without A Snowcat Looks Like

Won’t someone please think of the children?

Breaking nearly century-old early autumn snowfall records, a storm system smothered South Dakota’s scenic Black Hills in South Dakota with up to three and a half feet of wet, heavy snow, leaving residents the challenge of digging out.

Pennington County Emergency Management spokeswoman Alexa White said rescue efforts were slow-going, because “the only way to get there is the snowmobiles or the Sno-Cats.”

Of only people would give up their 21st century lifestyle which makes it hot!

Yeah, when that cold front came through, our local temperature skyrocketed up from 88 all the way down to low 50s. Tonight it will go all the way up to 45 for a low tonight.

Thank god we have CO2 in the atmosphere to keep us warm. Else, the absolute zero of space storms would freeze us solid at 0Kelvin.

Without CO2, we’d be a ball of ice. Cuz, we all know, the reason the moon is frozen is because there is no CO2.

  2. Jeffery says:

The moon surface does drop to -150C during the lunar “night”. It gets up to 100C during the lunar “day”. Earth’s temperatures are certainly more temperate than the moon’s.

Do you really not understand the greenhouse effect or are you just paying homage to jimhoft?

Do you think a snowstorm in Oct is evidence against the Theory of AGW?

No, but your cult believes that it supports CAGW. It believes any weather supports CAGW.

Do you really not understand the greenhouse effect

Are you really claiming that CO2 is the sole reason for the greenhouse effect? You already claimed that the reason the moon does not have a greenhouse effect\warmth is due to a lack of CO2.

And are you still going to claim that the only source of warming for our atmosphere is due to CO2?

  4. Jeffery says:

Certainly I didn’t say a snowstorm supports AGW, but it seems de rigueur for the lower information pundits to call every snowstorm a refutation of AGW. It’s silly, but whatever.

If we had not added an additional 40% of CO2 to the atmosphere since the beginning of the industrial revolution the Earth almost certainly would not have warmed as it has. CO2 is the most likely variable.

The current abrupt warming is counter to the gradual cooling trend of the past 1000 yrs.

No one, not even normal citizens, climate realists, or climate doomsday cult, believe or hype that we’ve been in a cooling scenario over the last 1000 years.

You just can’t stay on cult-message can you jeffery?

We’ve been in a warming trend since our last glaciation. It’s called an Interglacial. Because of the warm nice weather between the bitterly cold planet-o-ice weather that is typical of Earth. (no, we are not a ball of ice, it’s symbology, but we do get darn cold and much of earth’s land masses get glaciated)
