TLF: 1,100 Graduate From Iraqi Police Academy

Yup, absolutely no progress in Iraq

History was made when the inaugural class of more than 1,100 Iraqi Police (IP) recruits graduated the two-week Basic Recruit Training Course, Feb. 21, at the Furat Iraqi Police Training Academy in Baghdad.

During the initial phase of their training, the graduates successfully completed training on weapons familiarization, law, ethics, crime scene, handcuffing and various other skills.

Nothing to see, move along, Iraq is lost, let’s retreat, or, better yet, we’ll just attack Pakistan.

    Teach this is pretty weak.
    This is the inaugural class, these are the first trainees to have graduated and you think this is a “good thing” ?
    And all of this celebration after a 2 week course ??
    You are right, nothing important to see there.

    As far as attacking “Pakistan” do you mean that you are NOT in favor of our continuing to attack the Taliban and al Qaeda in Pakistan ?

    We should if we have actionable intelligence on a high-level al-Qaeda target. That’s what we did a few weeks ago when we killed Abu Laith al-Libi. I’m surprised you’re against it.
