GOP Gives The Dems a Little “What For!”

First smackdown

(CNSNews.com) – After being pounded by Democrats last year for accepting pay increases while not boosting the minimum wage, Republican congressmen Tuesday returned the favor by preventing an annual 1.7 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) from taking effect this year.

Second smackdown

The Senate is one step closer to fulfilling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) promise to raise the federal minimum wage after Democrats conceded to a Republican requirement that tax cuts be included to help small businesses. The measure calls for the minimum wage to be increased from $5.15 an hour to $7.25 an hour over two years. The Senate agreed to end debate and hold a vote in the next several days on the bill, which will include $8.3 billion in tax breaks for small businesses to cover the increase. The House bill does not include tax breaks, so the differences in the two bills will have to be resolved before a final version can go the president's desk to be signed.

Well, it is a good start for Republicans, giving a little of the old What For! back to the Democrats after having to deal with all the BS Democrats have pulled since 2001. It begs the question, will Republicans continue to fight back? We can only hope.

Happy Groundhog Day to Rosie O’Donnell. The SHADOW knows for sure when it comes to anti-Americans on ‘The View’! With 300 radical Islamic terrorists wacked in Najaf, the VIEW of 300 terrorists X 72 virgins each = 21,600 busy virgins up there in Casbah Harem Heaven is beautiful. How about a Patriotic Pin-Up of my favorite: Barbara Eden? I hope they will run out of virgins…SOON!
