Trackback Friday Featuring the Surrender Monkey: Dingy Harry Steps Up

Happy Friday to all! It's that time of the week again! Do you have an interesting post you want to share with everyone? The official Surrender Monkey of the Democratic Party says to do what the Lefties don’t, since they all have the same talking points: link it!

Yes, this is yesterday's news, but, what better place for the story then as hosted by the Surrender Monkey? Harry Reid has shown his true treason colors. As he stood in front of a backdrop that included such says such as "support our troops" and "support the mission" (I am hoping someone has video. Wasn't any when I wrote this Thursday evening), this is what went down

The war in Iraq "is lost" and a US troop surge is failing to bring peace to the country, the leader of the Democratic majority in the US Congress, Harry Reid, said Thursday.

"I believe … that this war is lost, and this surge is not accomplishing anything, as is shown by the extreme violence in Iraq this week," Reid told journalists.

Reid even had the cojones, if you can attribute cajones to any Defeatocrat, to throw in a Vietnam reference.

I'm just thankful that today's Defeatocrats were not in charge from the Revolutionary War through WWII, and a great deal of the Cold War.

In a related story, via Michelle Malkin, the Nutroots are not too happy about the wishy washy timetables that are supposed to be in their Iraq/Afghanistan spending bills. MM wonders if there will be an IMPORTANT ACTION ALERT soon. I wonder if those at MYDD understand that we are a republic, not a democracy, and do not run by mob rules. American Idol and running the U.S.A. are not the same thing.

Of course, Chris Stoller at MyDD and the other Nutroots are learning an important lesson: politician's do their own thing.

BTW, the full Soldier of Surrender issue is here.
