Methane is so insignificant as a GHG that it is hardly worthy of discussion. Due to it’s infinitesimal atmospheric ratio, and it’s IR absorption band being inside a dominant water vapor band, methane has no measurable impact on atmospheric temperature. Climatologists and media that imply that it does have a warming effect is a demonstration of a willful ignorance of physics.
