Warmists Really Upset Over Paul Ryan Pick

I’m not sure why Warmists bother, since their little cult is dying a painful, slow death, with fewer and fewer people caring about the issue, especially in light of the way far left policies have and are destroying economies around the world, and that Warmist policies, essentially leftist progressive policies, will make things worse. Anyhow, Climate Progress’ Brad Johnson is apoplectic over the pick (via Climate Depot)

Meet Paul Ryan: Climate Denier, Conspiracy Theorist, Koch Acolyte

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), Mitt Romney’s vice-presidential pick, is a virulent denier of climate science, with a voting record to match.

A favorite of the Koch brothers, Ryan has accused scientists of engaging in conspiracy to “intentionally mislead the public on the issue of climate change.” He has implied that snow invalidates global warming.

Ah, of course there had to be a mention of the Koch brothers, part of Progressive Tourette’s Disorder.

What follows at the “article” is list of Paul Ryan not buying into the climate change hoax (and, really, the phrase climate change is an unscientific term designed to blame every weather and natural event on mankind), and ends with the standard agiprop

In short, Paul Ryan stands with Big Oil against scientific fact and the future of human civilization.

If Big Oil is so evil, why haven’t Warmists simply stopped using it? Why do they drive cars and take fossil fueled air travel? The comments get funny, with the standard unhinged Warmists. The first one is a hoot

Such people are a threat to national security, because they threaten the survival of the state, they provoke food riots and anarchy with their manipulative actions.

We need to put these people on trial for crimes against humanity.

In Liberal World, if you disagree you should be tried and probably executed.

Likewise, Grist isn’t too happy about Ryan being a Climate Realist.

No Tricks Zone points out that Ryan understood Climategate to a tee.

Global Warming Skeptics highlights some of Ryan’s best anti-globull warming votes.

Non-AGW related for Ryan, The First Street Journal has reactions from around the blogroll to the Ryan pick. Doug Ross has the best reactions to the pick. Nice Deb has lots of info and links on the pick.

LOL Hey Teach, are we sure that Brad Johnston isn’t really our little silly john?

    They sound about the same.

Hyperventilating and going mental over seemingly mundane issues, while yet ignoring their own stance.

I like how they now have to paint realists as “climate deniers”. First, they still LOVE to use the incendiary context of the word “denier”. Second, they really do think that we deny the existence of climate. When it is we realists who are advocating that it IS the climate that we are experiencing. They demand that their world stay stagnant and unchanging and when it doesn’t, they advocate death for those they can point the finger of blame upon.

Yeah, tell me now who is a “denier” of reality?

    Nice find Teach.

I’m glad that climate change deniers are as small a group as conspiracy theorists.

Wow. Thank you for that insightful contribution to the discussion. If I printed such such comments out for the sake of posterity, my parrot would surely thank you for providing fresh lining for the bottom of his cage.

But to actually address your comment, it is not that people deny that the climate is changing, it is people are not convinced of the contribution man plays in the warming of what is clearly a dynamic and ever changing system.

To support the theories that man is the main cause of warming, we have seen time and time again papers have been faked, documents forged, data lost, and a lack of critical peer review.

Instead, we get silly statements such as your which attack the messenger rather than the message. That is the depth of the argument from people such as you.

    Oh well.

  6. Trish says:

I deny the climate! I don’t see it, and can’t taste it so it’s not there.

Meanwhile, Teach is correct- most everyone here (and most of my sane friends) believe that climate ALWAYS changes. It’s natural. I actually think we’re due for a BIG change down the road, but I am not delusional enough to believe we are or will ever be the cause of any catastrophic climate change.
All change will occur with or without our input, and when the big event happens, there is absolutely NOTHING we can do to stop it. I believe once upon a time there were dinosaurs on Earth…

I deny your reality because I do not see any dinosaurs about.

  8. Trish says:

Oh come on GB, there’s a Nancy Pelosi and a Harry Reid right in Washington DC!!! Of all the dinos to go extinct, why’d we get left these two????

  9. Gumball_Brains says:

Well, OK. Granted. But, they are modified Dinos. Not the true thing. I mean with directed evolution and all. Those are also not the only ones there. There are some minor-forms seen running around.

It must be do to the swamp gas. Infects the very DNA of animals that move in to the area. Once they leave and return to their ancestral homes, they appear to look and act normal. But, then they are drawn back in, pleading in fact, to be sent back to the quagmire of corruption and decay.

It is sad really. Maybe one day we will have someone come in who has the antibodies against the diseases that run rampant there and begin to excise out the rot and ruin.

  10. Trish says:

    Hahaha, Amen to that!

  11. Mama Me says:

Teach, you are one seriously stupid motherfucker.

  12. Gumball_Brains says:

???? ummm. OH NOES.. It’s EVIL john

  13. klem says:

Thanks for reminding me that Ryan is a climate denier, I had forgotten about that.

For the first time, I will be voting Republican this November.

    cheers

  14. Gumball_Brains says:

ummm.. HUH? Klem ka-diddle-hopper? What was that? Please tell us that was not your attempt at humor. Even silly john has better ones than that.

And, anyone with a brain (besides the CAGW crowd who are static’ists (is that a word??? stacists? maybe)) knows there is no denying climate. You can’t, just look at all the evidence for a changing climate over the eons. Heck, even in the last 200 years or so, we’ve crawled out of an “minor ice age”.

But, you go right ahead on and vote Republican. Doing so, will clean your pores, fatten your wallet, and lighten your guilt. (praying to GOD also helps)

Mama Me needs her mouth washed out. And a lobotomy wouldn’t hurt.

  16. Mama Me says:

Trish, I am quite sure that you are well familiar with the joys of lobotomization.
