So, what say you Global Warming As Caused By Mankind disciples? If it is oh-so-bad, then why do the Democrat candidates for president ignore the implications, and massive CO2 output, of taking private jets? Just more of the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude which prevails in democrat thought. I have yet to see any who have changed their lifestyles despite their belief in the religion of climate change. Hell, I probably like a more carbon neutral lifestyle then they do, and that is just because I tend to believe in saving the environment for the sake of saving the environment, plus, I like saving money.

A realization that Americans want a comprehensive health care plan for all.
A real sense among the group that one of them would win the election in 2008

Interesting analogy, John. However, it breaks down when you realize that Conservatives are doing things to support the war effort, starting with not trying to tear the mission down.
