DOJ Files First-Ever RICO Charges Against 27 Tren de Aragua Gang Members

The Department of Justice filed multiple federal charges against 27 members of the hyperviolent Tren de Aragua Venezuelan gang on Monday. The charges include Racketeering, Narcotics and Sex Trafficking, Robbery, and Firearms offenses. DOJ officials say this marks the first time RICO charges have been filed against Tren de Aragua gang members.

On Monday, DOJ officials unsealed indictments against 27 current or former members of the Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang. Officials report that 21 of the 27 indicted gang members are currently in federal custody.

“As alleged, Tren de Aragua is not just a street gang – it is a highly structured terrorist organization that has destroyed American families with brutal violence, engaged in human trafficking, and spread deadly drugs through our communities,” U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a written statement. “Today’s indictments and arrests span three states and will devastate TdA’s infrastructure as we work to completely dismantle and purge this organization from our country.”

The indictments include charges against six current TdA gang members and 21 former members who are now part of an “Anti-Tren” gang that splintered off from TdA.

If convicted of racketeering conspiracy, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, Morillo-Gomez, Brayan Oliveros-Chero, Sandro Oliveros-Chero, and Perez Gonzalez face up to life in prison. If convicted of drug trafficking conspiracy, Valero-Calderon, Brayan Oliveros-Chero, Sandro Oliveros-Chero, and Perez Gonzalez face up to 20 years in prison. If convicted of carjacking conspiracy, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, and Morillo-Gomez face up to five years in prison. If convicted of carjacking, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, and Morillo-Gomez face up to 15 years in prison. If convicted of Hobbs Act robbery, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, and Morillo-Gomez face up to 20 years in prison. If convicted of firearm use, carrying, and possession, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, and Morillo-Gomez face up to life in prison with a mandatory minimum sentence of seven years in prison. If convicted of attempted Hobbs Act extortion, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, and Morillo-Gomez face up to 20 years in prison. If convicted of firearm use, carrying, and possession – conspiracy, Valero-Calderon, Gonzalez Castro, Morillo-Gomez, Brayan Oliveros-Chero, and Sandro Oliveros-Chero face up to 20 years in prison. If convicted of possession of ammunition by an illegal alien, Brayan Oliveros-Chero faces up to 15 years in prison. If convicted of possession of a firearm and ammunition by an illegal alien, Sandro Oliveros-Chero faces up to 15 years in prison. If convicted of firearm use, carrying, and possession, Perez Gonzalez faces up to life in prison with a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison. If convicted of possession of a firearm and ammunition by an illegal alien, Perez Gonzalez faces up to 15 years in prison.

Which means the US taxpayers have to support these people mostly brought in by the Biden-Harris regime, when, if Democrats could have just shut the hell up, they could have been deported. But, hey, maybe the Trump admin could build a jail for them in the center of a sanctuary city, like Boston or Denver.

RFK, Jr. Looks To End CDC Wuhan Flu “Vaccine” Mandate For Kids

RFK Jr. eyes reversing CDC’s Covid-19 vaccine recommendation for children

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is weighing pulling the Covid-19 vaccine from the government’s list of recommended immunizations for children, two people familiar with the discussions told POLITICO.

The directive under consideration would remove the Covid shot from the childhood vaccine schedule maintained by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and widely used by physicians to guide vaccine distribution, marking Kennedy’s most significant move yet to shake up the nation’s vaccination practices.

Kennedy, a longtime anti-vaccine activist, has previously questioned the need for kids to get the shot, raising doubts about its safety and citing studies showing healthy children face an extremely low risk of death from Covid.

Eliminating the vaccine from the CDC schedule would not bar kids from receiving it. But the change would represent an extraordinary intervention by Kennedy to override the agency’s scientific decision-making and reverse a recommendation backed by the CDC and a slate of independent advisers just three years ago.

Wow, a lot of crazy to unpack. We’ve learned over the years that the COVID vaccines are anything but, because they mostly fail to stop anyone from actually getting Wuhan Flu. They don’t even really stop people from getting really sick from COVID. And then there are the side effects, that have been published. The CDC hasn’t exactly been a hotbed of science based decision making since COVID started, have they? Recommending everyone wear a mask that wouldn’t stop pollen, much less COVID. Then two masks. We could rehash it all, but, remember, CDC recommendations during COVID were treated like holy writ, and anyone failing to follow them was branded a heretic. And the CDC simply made pronouncements without bothering to inform the public what the science said, without really going through a scientific process.

The removal would also likely influence vaccination procedures across the nation. Pediatricians rely on the CDC schedule to determine which vaccines they should give children and when to administer them, in order to protect against a range of common infectious diseases.

The schedule is also closely watched by insurers in deciding which vaccines to cover, as well as states and localities that determine which vaccines schools require for students — though no states currently mandate the Covid shot.

The COVID jabs were experimental, and the CDC has not performed a true, full, scientific investigation into the full responses to the jabs, unlike those drugs in the annoying ads on TV and radio (seriously, why would you take a drug if you are allergic?). Unlike all the other vaccinations that are recommended for kids.

Kennedy and his allies also believe that yanking the vaccine off the CDC schedule would rally voters who gravitated to Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again” movement over their distrust of the government’s Covid response and his vows to scrutinize the government’s vaccine policies. Kennedy has criticized the independent panels that advise the CDC and other agencies on vaccines, accusing them of being captured by the pharmaceutical industry despite clear conflict-of-interest guardrails.

They do? Any evidence of this? That would be a no. Not one shred is offered by Politico.

Just 13 percent of children have gotten the latest Covid shot, according to the most recent CDC data. And after Republicans, led by President Donald Trump, turned the pandemic response into an increasingly partisan issue, states have veered away from efforts to require it.

So, the vast majority of doctors are not giving it, probably just those who were driven moonbat and wear masks in their own cars, or the parents, primarily left wing wackos, who wear masks in their cars.

Yet the change, if finalized, would still likely prompt opposition from public health experts and Kennedy skeptics who worry it could further undermine faith in vaccines and open the door to more drastic changes to the childhood schedule.

Doubtful. No one is going to stop giving their kids vaccines for polio, mumps, measles, chicken pox, etc, because most are rational and do not trust the COVID “vaccine”. Polio works. Get the schedule of shots and the kid will never get it. Because it is a vaccine. The Wuhan Flu vaccine is not much better than a placebo. It would be wonderful if it worked. But, let’s not forget that the Powers That Be said you’d get your life back if you took it, but, after you did take it, you didn’t get your life back.

And while children are perhaps the group least at risk from Covid, CDC data show more than 1,800 kids have died from the disease, with hundreds of thousands more hospitalized.

And the “vaccine” didn’t stop it. COVID19 is something we all have to learn to live with. If it worked like the flu vaccines, which are recommended by the CDC, sure. But, it doesn’t.

However, RFK, Jr, is still a nut, and, I’ve always said he’s a nut

Big Fire Raging In Southern NJ

This is insane. And it’s near where the parents live. Mom called and texted me not long after 9pm, but, I missed it because I was in the shower, and didn’t realize till I picked my phone up around 1030pm to set my alarm. Freaked me out, because the messages made me think it was their house on fire, not a big wildfire. They had to evacuate, and are fine. Not sure if their house is OK, yet. I’m not seeing any stories about where in full has burned

I’ve taken that exit many times when visiting. This is maybe 3 miles from their house.

Each year, Texas residents, industries and transportation emit more than 800 million tons of greenhouse gases with an impact on climate change that is comparable to Germany, which has a population 2.5 times larger.

Despite the state’s relatively high emissions, according to data from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the European Union, Texas has done little to address past and future climate change.

California, the only state that comes close to Texas’ level of planet-warming greenhouse gases, has enacted aggressive policies to reduce emissions. Texas, under’ Republican political leadership for about three decades, remains largely indifferent — or outright hostile — to placing regulations on business and industry to reduce emissions..

And, how’s that going in California? Despite all those laws and restrictions and taxes and fees, California is still complaining that their carbon footprint is too high, which means more control of citizen’s lives, which means more people and companies take their money to other states. Texas doesn’t care. If the Warmists in Texas want to mitigate their own lives, have at it. Till then, bugger off.

Wacky Judge Requires Trump Admin To Give 21 Days Notice To Venezuelans For Deportation

Trump must give some Venezuelan migrants 21 days’ notice before deportations, judge rules

A federal judge in Colorado directed President Donald Trump’s administration on Tuesday to give Venezuelan migrants detained in that state notice 21 days in advance before any deportations under a law historically used only in wartime, and to inform them of their right to challenge their removal.

In a written ruling maintaining a temporary block within Colorado on deportations under the 1798 Alien Enemies Act, U.S. District Judge Charlotte Sweeney said the administration must tell the migrants in a language they understand that they have the right to consult a lawyer.

OK, so, this applies only to the illegals held in the People’s Republik Of Colorado. I wonder if all those Democrat voters in Denver and Aurora feel warm and fuzzy with all the Tren De Arugua

(NBC News) The American Civil Liberties Union, representing the migrants held in Colorado, had asked Sweeney to require the administration to provide notice 30 days in advance. That timetable was in line with the procedure that the U.S. government used the last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked, during World War II, to intern and deport people of Japanese, German and Italian descent.

The law authorizes the president to deport, detain or place restrictions on individuals whose primary allegiance is to a foreign power and who might pose a national security risk in wartime.

Thirty days, eh? What, exactly, does the actual law state?

§22. Time allowed to settle affairs and depart
When an alien who becomes liable as an enemy, in the manner prescribed in section 21 of this title, is not chargeable with actual hostility, or other crime against the public safety, he shall be allowed, for the recovery, disposal, and removal of his goods and effects, and for his departure, the full time which is or shall be stipulated by any treaty then in force between the United States and the hostile nation or government of which he is a native citizen, denizen, or subject; and where no such treaty exists, or is in force, the President may ascertain and declare such reasonable time as may be consistent with the public safety, and according to the dictates of humanity and national hospitality.(R.S. §4068.)

It doesn’t say the ACLU. It doesn’t say rogue left wing judges. It gives the President the power (really, the law should have stated a minimum time, but, Congress has been giving away their power to the Executive for a long time). At this point, though, Trump should simply sit on the illegals and then deport them on day 22. And, here’s what I think is a great idea: take all those illegals who are caught and ship them to Colorado, then say “hey, the judge says we should give them all 21 days, and deport on day 22. We’re going to comply.”

DHS: Ads in foreign media turning migrants away

The Department of Homeland Security says an international media blitz is succeeding in persuading foreign nationals not to come to the United States without authorization.

DHS launched multilingual radio, broadcast and digital campaign in several countries last month featuring Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Her overarching message is to warn those planning to cross into the U.S. illegally to not come to America and break its laws or they will be “hunted down and deported.”

The complete opposite of the Biden admin. Instead of telling them to come, they’re saying don’t come.

Scientists use computer models to project how hot earth will get as humans burn more oil and gas.

But it turns out those models have a bit of a blind-spot: exactly how much of the sun’s energy gets reflected back to space from the snow and ice at our poles.

As a result, scientists may have been underestimating global warming.

National climate reporter Chase Cain traveled to Antarctica to see how tiny changes in color there can lead to big changes in temperature for the entire planet.

So, computer models and the cult reporter taking a long, fossil fueled trip to Antarctica? Brother.

Bright snow and ice reflects the sun’s energy back to space, helping earth stay a little cooler. Even though it’s a tiny change, the algae that grows on patches of ice in Antarctica alters the albedo — or the ice’s reflectivity — enough to make the planet warm even faster.

“When [the algae] are actively photosynthesizing, they have a larger impact on the surface albedo because they’re bringing extra energy into the snowpack, which dissipates as heat and causes it to melt faster,” Khan explained.

So, how does this compare to during previous Holocene warm periods? If you do not know then you have no comparison. That’s not science. But, then, none of this is science, it’s a cult.

Oh, Noes, Trump Deported Two German Teens On Vacation In Hawaii!

A pair of young German travelers were left shocked after they arrived in Hawaii only to be detained and deported due to their loosely planned trip.

Charlotte Pohl, 19, and Maria Lepere, 18, arrived in Honolulu to begin their trip but were grilled extensively by Customs and Border Protection.

The pair planned to explore before traveling on to California and Costa Rica, but they hadn’t booked any accommodation for their five-week stay in Hawaii.

It was the lack of planning that alerted CBP, despite the pair having obtained ESTA travel authorization, German news outlet Ostee-Zeitung originally reported.

The two were accused of potential illegal work intentions and, after hours of questioning, they were placed in handcuffs and taken to what they later found to be a deportation detention center, Beat of Hawaii reported.

So, pretty much entitled youts who learned that having zero accommodations is a big red flag to CBP. Things like this happen all the time, every year, but, they don’t make the news when Trump isn’t president. Hell, Trump probably learned about this having happened from the news. Maybe on Twitter. And laughed. Because every country has rules for visitors. Follow them. If they think Trump is micro-managing this much these TDS addled moonbats are wonkers.

The scientist, the 30-year-old Russian-born Kseniia Petrova, worked at Harvard’s renowned Kirschner Lab until her arrest at a Boston airport in mid-February. She is now being held at ICE’s Richwood Correctional Center in Monroe, Louisiana, and fighting possible deportation to Russia, where she said she fears persecution and jail time over her protests against the war in Ukraine.

“I would call it a grinding machine,” Petrova, who spoke with NBC News from the Louisiana facility, said about being detained. “We are in this machine, and it doesn’t care if you have a visa, a green card, or any particular story. … It just keeps going.”

But, um, finally

Dr. Leon Peshkin, a principal research scientist at Harvard’s Department of Systems Biology and Petrova’s manager and mentor, received a call from Customs and Border Protection on Feb. 16 after agents detained Petrova at Logan International Airport in Boston for failing to declare samples of frog embryos to be used in scientific research.

That would be called “smuggling”

A DHS spokesperson told NBC News on Monday that Petrova had been “lawfully detained after lying to federal officers about carrying substances into the country.”

And that would also be a legal offense, for which she continued to lie. And, I thought Democrats hated Russians these days? You would think such a critical cancer research scientist would be smart enough to, oh I don’t know, not smuggle illegal stuff into the country where she’s a guest and lie about it. She dug her own hole. The blame is on her. Maybe if the media wants some credibility, and NBC News spent a lot of words without saying “she broke the law and it’s her own fault”, they would stop with the TDS.

Harvard Sues Trump Admin Like They Are Owed Taxpayer Money

There’s all sorts of entitlement these days. People who think they do not have to show ID when pulled over for simple driving infraction ending with them being arrested. People who think they can Demand others comply with their Beliefs. Ageing pop stars and their media friends who think they’re astronauts, not passengers. And then

Harvard sues Trump administration over $2 billion cut to federal funding

Harvard University filed suit Monday against the Trump administration, challenging its decision to cut more than $2 billion in grants in a high-profile showdown between the government and the prestigious private institution.

Harvard President Alan Garber said in a statement announcing the suit that the university chose to challenge what it considered unreasonable demands from an administration antisemitism task force to “to control whom we hire and what we teach.”

The administration’s demands, he said, “would impose unprecedented and improper control over the university” and came without any real effort to engage on the issue of antisemitism. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Massachusetts.

“The gravy train of federal assistance to institutions like Harvard, which enrich their grossly overpaid bureaucrats with tax dollars from struggling American families is coming to an end,” said Harrison Fields, a White House spokesperson, in response to the lawsuit. “Taxpayer funds are a privilege, and Harvard fails to meet the basic conditions required to access that privilege.”

I mean, the cajones on Harvard for suing so that the federal government gives them taxpayer money like it’s owed to them. Harvard, as you’ll remember, is a private institution

So, then why do they demand taxpayer money? They get more than enough money from endowments and more. If the work they’re doing is so great then private entities will easily replace the money.

In addition, the Internal Revenue Service is scrutinizing the university’s tax-exempt status, and the Department of Homeland Security has threatened to revoke Harvard’s ability to enroll international students, who make up about 27 percent of its total enrollment. The Education Department is also probing the university’s federal funding.

“These actions have stark real-life consequences for patients, students, faculty, staff, researchers, and the standing of American higher education in the world,” Garber said.

Besides the fact that private institutions shouldn’t get taxpayer money scotch free, all Harvard has to do is shut down the Jew hatred and a few minor things the Trump admin has required. If they are taking federal money, then the federal government has a say in operations, to a point. And anything developed with that money does partly belong to the federal government.

They argue that the administration’s actions flout the First Amendment and Title VI compliance procedures that must occur before revoking federal funding. The university argued that the government has “made no effort to follow those procedures” before freezing or terminating its funding, which include attempting to secure voluntary compliance, holding a hearing and unveiling a report of findings.

I thought they were private? So, they have no ownership for the money. If the federal government gives aid to countries there were historically strings attached to the aid. Well, there are strings attached to the money Harvard gets. But, they and other universities should not get any taxpayer money unless it is for a specific project which benefits the United States.

Anyhow, Harvard will shop for a Friendly Progressive Judge to rule in their favor, then the Trump admin will still withhold the money as it appeals.
