Biden Brain SuckerNewly released audio from Axios reveals that former President Joe Biden struggled with his memory during an interview with then-special counsel Robert Hur.

The audio recording reveals that Biden had difficulty remembering when his late son, Beau Biden, died and when now-President Donald Trump was elected during his first term in office, among other things, Axios reported.

“So, during this time when you were living at Chain Bridge Road and there were documents relating to the Penn Biden Center or the Biden Institute, or the Cancer Moonshot, or your book, where did you keep papers that related to those things that you were actively working?” Hur can be heard asking Biden.

“Well…. I, I, I, I, I, I don’t know. This is what — 2017, 2018, that area?” Biden asked.

It doesn’t get any better. It’s ugly.

President Trump: Joe Biden’s Autopen ‘Scandal’ Growing Bigger ‘By the Moment’

The Biden administration’s alleged use of an “autopen” is growing into a much larger scandal, President Donald Trump claimed on Saturday.

The president’s comments come after a Heritage Foundation report said in March the majority of official documents signed by former President Joe Biden were done so by using an autopen signature, raising many questions, per Breitbart News.

Trump’s post on Truth Social read:

“Whoever had control of the “AUTOPEN” is looking to be a bigger and bigger scandal by the moment. It is a major part of the real crime, THAT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020 WAS RIGGED AND STOLEN! Millions and millions of people knew that, but the Radical Left Democrats waged a campaign of inoculation and innocence like none that had ever been waged before. THIS IS WHY THE UNSELECT COMMITTEE OF POLITICAL THUGS, WHO WERE GIVEN A FULL AND COMPLETE PARDON BY THE PERSON WHO WIELDED THE NOW ILLEGALLY USED AUTOPEN, DELETED AND DESTROYED ALL EVIDENCE AND INFORMATION FROM THEIR CORRUPT AND VICIOUS WITCH HUNT AGAINST ME, AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE, WHOSE LIVES WERE COMPLETELY SHATTERED AND DESTROYED BY THIS HISTORICALLY CRIMINAL EVENT.

There was more. And, quite frankly, Trump should have left all the election 2020 stuff out. He should have simply focused on the use of autopen by Biden, who really had no idea what was going on.

(Fox News) GOP House Oversight Committee Chairman and other Republicans are raising concerns about whether former President Joe Biden’s cognitive functions were good enough to authorize aides to use an autopen tool to sign important documents on his behalf.

On Friday evening, Axios released exclusive audio footage of Biden’s interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, which reveals clues about Biden’s cognitive functioning while president that the interview’s transcript did not elucidate. Biden can be heard slurring his words, muttering and taking long pauses. Meanwhile, he failed to recall the date of his son Beau’s death or the year Trump was first elected.

“It questions who was actually making the decisions,” Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said Friday night on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity.”

“Clearly, from that interview, which was many, many months prior to the heavy use of the autopen, Joe Biden wasn’t capable of making decisions. He wasn’t coherent.”

Comer has now opened an investigation into who was authorizing and using the autopen. It’s not constitutional if it is not the POTUS.

“It does call into question these pardons – the use of autopen, and I think it may actually open the door – I’m not a lawyer – but I’d imagine Trump or his administration may try to make some arguments to federal courts about actions Joe Biden took because now we’ve got more information coming out, and they’re reasonably going to determine, ‘Yeah Joe Biden couldn’t remember anything. He didn’t even know when his son died, or when Trump got elected or when he left office,” political commentator Tim Pool added.

Could this lead to lots of people who were affected by not-Joe Biden signing legislation filing lawsuits? If Biden wasn’t competent enough to stand trial would that make him incompetent to sign legislation? Of course, I have to say that I’m rather sure that nothing will come of this, because the GOP is ultimately too squishy to play hardball. You know if the situation was reversed and it had been Trump with cognitive issues during his first term they would be suing left and right to get rid of anything he signed that was Bad for Democrats.

BTW, don’t you feel great that Biden was in charge of the nuclear arsenal and kept pushing the world into WWIII?

Top winemaker ‘may have to leave its Spanish vineyards due to climate crisis’

A leading European winemaker has warned it may have to abandon its ancestral lands in Catalonia in 30 years’ time because climate change could make traditional growing areas too dry and hot.

Familia Torres is already installing irrigation at its vineyards in Spain and California and is planting vines on land at higher altitudes as it tries to adapt to more extreme conditions.

“Irrigation is the future. We do not rely on the weather,” said its 83-year-old president, Miguel Torres. “I don’t know how long we can stay here making good wines, maybe 20 or 30 years, I don’t know. Climate change is changing all the circumstances.”

The family business has been making wine in Catalonia since 1870, but Torres said: “In 30 to 50 years’ time maybe we have to stop viniculture here.

Weird how it’s always in the future, eh? Also weird how “news” organizations have to go looking for this cult propaganda to write. It’s all very silly and cultish. If they cannot survive over a miniscule 1.6 F increase in temperatures since 1850, the end of the Little Ice Age, perhaps they aren’t running the business correctly.

“Tourists are very important for Catalonia and we are very close to Barcelona. This area could be for activity for tourists but viniculture, I don’t think is going to be here.”

The group, which invests 11% of its profits every year to combatting and adapting to the climate crisis, may instead have to move at least some of its vineyards “more to the west because it is cooler and we have to have water”.

Let me ask: how many of those tourists take fossil fueled trips to the region? How many fossil fueled vehicles and ships are used to make and transport the wine?

“We have no profit in exports to the UK, that is the reality. Hundreds of thousands of English people come to Spain on holiday and know the brand. We have to keep it alive in the UK.”

They ain’t coming on sailing ships or biking.

Zohran Mamdani defends staying off Holocaust Remembrance resolution

Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani said Friday that his public statements should outweigh his actions on non-binding resolutions, following POLITICO reporting the mayoral candidate did not sign onto measures commemorating the Holocaust and honoring Israel.

“I have condemned the Holocaust every year. This is something that is very clear to me and every New Yorker, and is something that I’ve made clear mostly in public statements, which is where most New Yorkers are actually engaging with their politics,” Mamdani said at an unrelated press conference.

Andrew Epstein, a spokesperson for Mamdani’s campaign, shared the lawmaker’s social media posts commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day in 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021 and said Mamdani has supported more funding for Holocaust survivors, including by signing onto Assemblymember Nily Rozic’s budget letter advocating to allocate more to a state program for survivors.

Mamdani did not sponsor the annual resolution for Holocaust Remembrance Day any of the last four years. He was only listed as a sponsor in 2021, his first year in office.

Is he a bad guy, or, is it just something he missed, as he’s said that he’s missed multiple votes on resolutions? Is he a problem?

Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, a left-leaning group that has co-endorsed Mamdani and Lander, defended him.

Yeah, well, they are pretty hardcore leftist, and have acted more like an Israel hating group than anything else. The NY Post editorial board has thoughts on Mamdani

New York has seen more than its share of flawed pols over the years, but no major mayoral candidate has ever been as morally bankrupt — and antisemitic — as Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani.

No way should he be allowed anywhere near City Hall. (snip)

In the past Mamdani has cheered similar resolutions for everything from Neurodiversity Pride Day, Juneteenth and Lunar New Year to Women’s History Month, Disabilities Awareness Day and Korean American Day.

His spokesman, Andrew Epstein, insists Mamdani backs the one on Holocaust Memorial Day too but wants to “narrow down” the number he signed.

Right. He just happened to draw the line at recognizing Nazi Germany’s murder of 6 million Jews.

I mean, sure, he’s sent out tweets, but, could have been staff. He refuses to put his name on an actual resolution, though.

In fact, he’s already made it clear how much he despises the Jewish state: On Oct. 8, 2023, the day after Jews suffered their worst horror since the Holocaust, he condemned Israel.

He vows that, as mayor, he’d arrest Benjamin Netanyahu should the Israeli leader dare set foot in New York.

That wasn’t in the Politico piece.

Set aside the rest of Mamdani’s socialist agenda, and even his support for defunding cops in 2020: The shameless Jew-hate is all you really need to know about him.

Yeah, well, Democrats keep flirting with all this garbage.

CNN: Ocean Currents Are Slowing Down And It’s Doom

A crucial system of ocean currents is slowing. It’s already supercharging sea level rise in the US.

Flooding on the US Northeast coast has risen significantly as a critical network of Atlantic Ocean currents weakens, according to a new study — an alarming glimpse into the future as some scientists warn the current system could be just decades from collapse.

The Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation, known as the AMOC, works like a vast conveyor belt, transporting heat, salt and freshwater through the ocean and influencing climate, weather and sea levels around the planet.

Coastal flooding is caused by a cluster of factors, chief among them climate change-driven sea level rise, but the AMOC also plays a critical role in the Northeast, according to the study published Friday in the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Of course, sea rise is much lower than expected in the Northeast for a Holocene warm period, but, hey, don’t let facts get in the way of a good cult narrative.

Scientists used data from tide gauges — instruments which monitor sea level change — combined with complex ocean models to calculate how the AMOC has affected flooding in the region over the past decades.

In other words, they do not like what the gauges are telling them, not giving them the sea rise necessary (Boston is .97 feet per 100 years), so, they just added in their garbage models.

A strong AMOC is typically associated with dense deep water that flows along the western boundary of the North Atlantic. When the AMOC weakens, water becomes less dense, literally taking up more space and fueling sea level rise. A weaker AMOC also affects the flow of the Gulf Stream, causing water to flow back onto the coastal shelf and increasing sea level rise at the coast.

Well, now, the cult is really trying to doomsay. Of course, the computer models also said the the AMOC might have shut down in two years. That was back in 2023. They’ve also said that ocean currents are speeding up. And that we might not be doomed.

Arlington County, Va. Votes To Make Police Stop Working With ICE Over Illegal Criminals And Terrorists

Virginia County Votes Not to Report Illegal Alien Terrorists to ICE—in Name of ‘Public Safety’

The Arlington County, Virginia, Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on Tuesday to end its police department’s ability to report illegal aliens arrested for felonies and terrorist activity to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Board members couched their decision as a way to protect immigrant communities from the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts, which, funny enough, target the types of criminals that Arlington is now protecting.

Prior to this egregious decision to disregard the public’s safety, the Arlington County Police Department’s interaction with ICE was already restricted in the county’s “Trust Policy,” also known as “Arlington’s Commitment to Strengthening Trust with Our Immigrant Communities,” enacted in 2022 and updated last year.

Section 7 of the “Trust Policy” very narrowly carved out a few exceptions for when police were allowed to report arrests of illegal aliens to ICE. These were for instances when police made arrests for felonies, gang activity, terrorism, and human trafficking.

Arlington County is the county just to the west of D.C. Activists have been pushing to repeal Section 7

Karantonis claimed that the community has “seen a decrease in safety” since the Trump administration has started deporting dangerous illegal aliens. Board members said immigrants are increasingly afraid to call 911 for fear of deportation—a claim, as TV station WJLA noted, that was made without supporting data.

Right, right, it’s all about protecting illegals. So much that they want to protect felons, murderers, child abusers, and terrorists.

DHS mulls reality show for immigrants seeking US citizenship

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed it is in the early stages of vetting a potential reality show that would have immigrants competing for a fast-track to citizenship.

As first reported by the Daily Mail, producer Rob Worsoff, the mind behind “Duck Dynasty,” approached the department about the idea, in which he envisions celebrity immigrant hosts welcoming immigrants who would then undertake competitions across the country, such as digging clams in Maine or rafting in Colorado.

DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said the show “is in the very beginning stages” of a vetting process, noting the department receives numerous requests for participation in television programming.

I can’t tell if the Trump admin is serious with this or not. If so, no, just, stop.

NJ Globe Reports LaMonica McIver (D) To Be Arrested For Assault

The Justice Department plans to bring charges against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-Newark) following a scuffle with federal immigration agents last week at Newark’s Delaney Hall detention center, three sources speaking on the condition of anonymity confirmed to the New Jersey Globe.

Much is still unknown about the case against the freshman congresswoman, but interim U.S. Attorney Alina Habba could announce charges as early as today. McIver may turn herself in this afternoon, the New Jersey Globe learned; she’ll be represented by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey during the Obama administration.

Partway through the visit, Baraka was arrested by federal authorities; they claimed he was trespassing, while he maintained that he had followed their directions and left when they instructed him to. Baraka’s arrest prompted a scuffle among the three representatives, ICE agents, and a group of protesters who had gathered at Delaney Hall’s gate; both sides have claimed that the other was the aggressor in the fight, which seems to have caused no reported injuries.

Video footage shows the fight to have been a general scramble. McIver in particular forcefully attempted to protect Baraka both physically and verbally as he was led away, which may be the basis for charges against her, though claims from some Republicans that she body-slammed or punched ICE officers are more dubious based on the footage available. (Menendez and the 80-year-old Watson Coleman were also involved in the melee, but there’s less video evidence of them physically engaging with agents, perhaps explaining the Justice Department’s focus on McIver.)

What could the charges be? Assaulting a federal law enforcement officer. Obstructing/delaying an arrest (we call it RDO in NC “resisting, delaying, obstructing”). Felonies.

It matters not if she was in the course of performing her duties as a member of Congress

In Article I, Section 6, Clause 1, the Framers provided for Members of Congress to be free from arrest when attending or traveling to and from Congress except in cases of treason, felony, or breaches of the peace.1 In interpreting this provision, the Supreme Court has held that the phrase treason, felony, and breach of the peace encompasses all criminal offenses.2 Consequently, Members are only privileged from arrests arising from civil suits, which were common in America at the time the Constitution was ratified.3

She was not at the Capitol Bldg, nor traveling to or from it. So, yes, she can be arrested, charged, and tried for her actions, and convicted. And jailed. They are not above the law.

I set this to post at 3pm: let’s see if she is arrested before then. Or even in the next few days.

Trump Admin Lays Off A Third Of Voice Of America “Employees”

Trump Administration Fires Hundreds of Voice of America Employees

The Trump administration on Thursday fired nearly 600 employees at Voice of America, a federally funded news network that provides independent reporting to countries with limited press freedoms.

The layoffs targeted contractors, most of them journalists but also some administrative employees, and amounted to over a third of Voice of America’s staff. They signaled that the Trump administration planned to continue its efforts to dismantle the broadcaster despite a court ruling last month that ordered the federal government to maintain robust news programming at the network, which President Trump has called “the voice of radical America.”

Well, the actual government employees, instead of the contractors, can continue their “robust news programming.” Do more with less. It’s not like half their news articles do not look like what you see in the hard left outlets, right? There’s literally nothing on the website that can’t be found on tons of websites.

In another sign of the Trump administration’s hostility toward the broadcaster, the federal building in Washington that houses the media organization was put up for sale on Thursday.

Michael Abramowitz, the director of Voice of America, said in an email to his staff on Thursday that the firings were “inexplicable.”

Kari Lake, a senior adviser at the U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees Voice of America, said that the Trump administration had acted within its legal authority.

“We are in the process of rightsizing the agency and reducing the federal bureaucracy to meet administration priorities,” Ms. Lake, who is leading the efforts to ramp down the operations of Voice of America, said in a statement. “We will continue to scale back the bloat at U.S.A.G.M. and make an archaic dinosaur into something worthy of being funded by hardworking Americans.”

And she said more is to come. English news has pretty much stopped since March, but, there is a little. There is a boatload of Chinese and Arabic language news, but, do we know what it says? Is it helping the US point of view?

Mr. Trump has accused the outlet, which delivers news to countries with repressive regimes — including Russia, China and Iran — of spreading “anti-American” and partisan “propaganda.”

VOA doesn’t help America, hence, it’s unnecessary. And most of the contractors are in the US on work visas, so, they have to leave by June. Why is it necessary for them to be here? They could write elsewhere. It’s VOA’s fault for going rogue. They created the problem.
