Obama Admits He’s Been Lying About Iran Deal Blocking Iran’s Nuclear Aspirations

Remember when Obama said this (while putting those who are in opposition to the Iran deal in league with the hardcore Iranians)?

After two years of negotiations, we have achieved a detailed arrangement that permanently prohibits Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. It cuts off all of Iran’s pathways to a bomb. It contains the most comprehensive inspection and verification regime ever negotiated to monitor a nuclear program.

And we see this

And this, which the White House has been tweeting for weeks

Then there’s this

(The Hill) President Obama defended his landmark nuclear deal with Iran, but conceded the time it takes Tehran to acquire the material to build a bomb would shrink to “a matter of months” as the agreement expires.

Obama sought to push back against critics who argue the deal should be abandoned because it does not permanently cut off Iran’s path to a nuclear weapon. Critics say some of the strictest limits on Iran’s nuclear program go away after 15 years.

Asked by NPR’s Steve Inskeep what Iran’s “breakout time” will be 15 years from now, Obama said “it shrinks back down to roughly where it is now … which is a matter of months.” But Obama said that was no reason to reject the 15 years of limits on Iran’s program under the deal.

So, this temporary deal will make sure the hardcore Iranian regime will receive lots and lots of cash, which can be spent on their support of terrorism. There will be no credible way that any removed sanctions can be put back in place. Iran has cheated on a good chunk of sanctions already placed on the country and specific people.

And it most assuredly doesn’t permanently prohibit Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

SJWs Freak Out Over “Blue Lives Matter Day” At Minor League Park

The same people who profess their hatred for police officers will have a hissy fit if the cops aren’t there to help them when they’re a victim of crime in seconds

(Yahoo News) A New York Yankees minor-league affiliate says it was surprised by the controversy surrounding a “Blue Lives Matter Day” held at its ballpark Sunday.

Social-justice activists and left-leaning websites criticized the timing of the event, which took place on the anniversary of Michael Brown’s death in Ferguson, Mo., but team officials insist it was simply a coincidence.

Blue Lives Matter NYC, a charity for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, hosted the fundraising event during a baseball game between the Staten Island Yankees and the Brooklyn Cyclones at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark.

The families of NYPD detectives Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos — who were shot and killed by a lone gunman in Brooklyn in December 2014 — were honored during the ball game. One of Liu’s family members threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

So, yeah, the SJWs, especially the #BlackLivesMatter(only in regards to when the cops shoot an unarmed black criminal, but not when Blacks are shooting each other in the streets with reckless abandon), are having a fit

Kirsten Savali, a cultural critic for the Root, an online magazine on African-American culture, said that with this event the baseball team “unapologetically spits” in the face of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“The Staten Island Yankees wanted to send a statement today, and they did: Black lives don’t matter to them or the Yankees organization,” Savali wrote. “On today of all days, they made it clear that not only is baseball ‘America’s Favorite Pastime,’ but it goes hand in hand with the continued dehumanization of black Americans.”

Who cares what day it was? Why the need to celebrate the killing of a young man, Michael Brown, who stole, assaulted, tried to take a police officer’s gun, then ultimately got the end he was asking for by coming back at a duly sworn police officer? Why support a criminal?

Similarly, Judd Legum, the editor in chief of the liberal blog Think Progress, argued that Blue Lives Matter is insensitive in that it draws attention away from victims of police violence.

“Like the refrain ‘All Lives Matter,’ it is used — online and elsewhere — to undercut the notion that there is a particular problem with police brutality against people of color,” he wrote.

Again, what of all the people of color brutality against people of color? It’s like SJWs don’t want to know about it. Or don’t care. Or approve of it. Baltimore saw its 200th murder for the year, after 211 in 2014. The vast majority of the victims were Black, as were most of the suspects. In Raleigh, 2 of the 3 arrested for the murder of Keyshawn Gregory (a 13 year old out riding around at 3am. Yeah, there’s been some interest in why this kid was cruising, which the local media refuses to ask questions about) are Black, as is Keyshawn.

In violent Ferguson, dozens were arrested after a state of emergency was declared. This was after all the looting and pilfering and gun shots and blocking streets and such. How much violence occurred during the Blue Lives Matter day? Oh, right. None.

Someone Has Hissy Fit Over Man Walking “Very Deliberately” With Confederate Flag, Calls Cops

Apparently, idiots in this country think this is now a crime

(The American Mirror) Opponents of the Confederate flag will do anything to trample on the rights of supporters of the battle banner.

A “concerned” resident called police on a man walking “very deliberately” down an Arlington, Virginia sidewalk with a hybrid Confederate flag over his shoulder.

The flag had the Gadsden “Don’t Tread On Me” snake in the middle.

According to police scanner traffic, dispatchers determined “the man was exercising his First Amendment rights and not violating the law,” WTOP reports.

Twitter user Wayne Jaing (@WanyeVVest) tweeted a photo to a news outlet of the man walking down Lee Highway “with a purpose.”

As the article points out, taking that photo while driving was most likely a violation of the law. Walking with a flag isn’t.

Voters Unenthused By Obama’s Climate Change Energy Plan

Not quite the outcome Obama expected

(Rasmussen) President Obama earlier this week announcedan even more ambitious plan to cut carbon dioxide emissions from power plants, but voters see more costs than rewards. The president’s plan will require a 32% drop in carbon dioxide emissions from power plants by 2030 and a 28% increase in the amount of power generated by renewable sources by 2025.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 56% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the plan will increase energy costs in the United States. Just 17% think it will decrease costs, while 12% say the plan will have no impact on energy costs. Fifteen percent (15%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Unfortunately, I do not have access to the rest of the article, being behind the paywall, for questions two and three, which are

  • Will the plan to reduce carbon dioxide emissions do a lot or a little to fight global warming? Or will it have no impact?
  • Should the federal Environmental Protection Agency be able to implement major regulations like this without congressional approval?

No one else has picked up the poll to find the answers, but, it seems pretty clear that the majority of Americans aren’t buying Obama’s talking point that his plan will reduce their power bill by $85 a year. Not that Obama will care. He seems to care more about what the hardcore Iranian regime thinks than average Americans.

Donald Trump Takes Nasty Shot At Carly Fiorina

Sexism, or just Donald being a jerk?

(The Hill) Donald Trump on Sunday took a shot at fellow 2016 GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, saying you “develop a massive headache” if you listen to the former Hewlett-Packard CEO.

“I just realized that if you listen to Carly Fiorina for more than ten minutes straight, you develop a massive headache,” he tweeted. “She has zero chance!”

This was after Carly! blasted Donald over his supposed remarks towards women, which culminated with

“I think you cannot have a president who is thin-skinned,” she added. “If you think a question is tough, imagine the pressure of actually being in the Oval Office.”

We’ve already had over 6 years of one super thin-skinned POTUS. Do we need another one?

Here’s a question for Trump supporters, who, quite frankly, are trending towards the way the unhinged Ron Paul supporters acted: what are Trump’s policies? He’s made some nice noise about securing the border (and then providing full amnesty for all the illegals). What else is he proposing? He likes to get into a lot of bitching matches. So far, his campaign is mostly bright lights, but someone forgot to actually play the music.

BTW, Liberals like to say Carly! is a failure because of what happened with HP. What do they think about Obama, who has presided over a weak economy, one of the worst recoveries ever, record numbers of people giving up on finding a job, all the people working low paying, and often part time, jobs, etc and so on?

Mostly Peaceful Ferguson Protest Features Gun Battle, Looting

You know who should be in the streets protesting peaceably? Officer Wilson and those who support him, along with those who support law and order. Obama’s Department of Justice cleared Wilson. Michael Brown did not have his hands up saying “don’t shoot”. Brown was a criminal, who stole cigars (there’s still some confusion over his supposed assault of the store clerks), was dumb to be walking in the middle of the street, assaulted a police officer in his vehicle, attempted to take his gun, ran away when the gun went off, then charged the officer, resulting in being fatally shot.

And so we get to what occurred in mostly Democratic Party run Ferguson Sunday

(St. Louis Post-Dispatch) A peaceful day of protest and remembrance dissolved into chaos late Sunday when a man fired multiple shots at four St. Louis County plainclothes detectives in an SUV. The detectives fired back and the shooter was struck, said county Police Chief Jon Belmar. He was in critical condition.

Tyrone Harris identified the victim as his son, Tyrone Harris Jr., 18, of St. Louis. Harris said shortly after 3 a.m. that his son had just gotten out of surgery.

He said his son graduated from Normandy High School and that he and Michael Brown Jr. “were real close.”

“We think there’s a lot more to this than what’s being said,” Harris Sr. said.

Huh. The gun battle lasted 45 seconds, with dozens of spent casings found. Harris was found with a 9mm Sig Sauer pistol, stolen in Cape Girardeau. But, hey, there’s probably some sort of conspiracy going on, according to his father! And, hey, he was totally not with the protesters! Even though plain-clothes officers followed him through the protesting crowd.

At 2:15 a.m., two teenagers were shot in a drive-by shooting near the Michael Brown Jr. Memorial on Canfield Drive. The victims, ages 17 and 19, were hospitalized and expected to survive. The gunman was riding in a passenger car and opened fire on them, police say.

Most likely unrelated to the protests, just a typical night in Democratic Party run Ferguson. With another drive by shooting earlier Sunday evening, with a man shot in the foot. There was also a shooting Saturday night near the area. And a police van was shot while arresting a man wanted for assault at the Saturday protest.

The marchers, whose number swelled to more than 1,000 just after noon Sunday, were silent during the 1.5-mile walk up West Florissant Avenue and across Chambers Road to Greater St. Mark Family Church out of respect for Brown, said James Evans Muhammad of Black Educators and Lawyers for Justice.

About 300 people gathered inside the church late Sunday afternoon following the march for a community service.

Nothing says we want peace like upholding a violent young man as an idol. But, then, Lefties love people like that. Che, Mumia, Castro, Stalin, Mao, etc.

During the day time, it was mostly peaceful. Then

During a torrential rain storm about 9 p.m. Sunday, several people broke the door on Bowen’s Beauty Supply. The cash register was stolen and dumped in the parking lot. About a dozen Missouri State Highway Patrol and police cars responded.

Post-Dispatch reporter Paul Hampel was beaten and robbed while covering the protests Sunday night. He was not seriously injured.

Checks Cashed and Loans was also broken into. Via Twitchy we see

Nothing says “peaceful” like wearing bandanas over your face and throwing up gang signs. Protesters where also chanting “kill the police” and “f*ck the police”.

I have yet to find a news outlet which notes the race of Tyrone Harris. It’s almost like they don’t want to.

Bummer: GOP Debate Ignores Hotcoldwetdry

This has give Cult of Climastrology members a sad

(Inside Climate News) The top 10 Republican candidates for president spent 120 minutes of their first primary season debateThursday night in Cleveland duking it out over issues like foreign policy, national security, immigration, abortion and the economy.

Missing from the conversation, however, was climate change. Not a single substantive question was asked by Fox News moderators about global warming or energy. Except for a brief nods to the Keystone XL pipeline and undefined “out-of-control regulations,” the candidates didn’t raise the issue themselves either.

The forum, which at times felt more theatrical than political, is the latest example how one of the nation’s most divisive topics has been ignored in the GOP primary thus far. (snip)

Earlier on Thursday during the so-called Kids Table or Happy Hour debate among the Republican candidates not polling in the top 10, Fox News host Bill Hemmer asked South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham how voters could trust him after he supported the Obama administration’s climate agenda. During a presidential forum in Manchester, N.H. on Monday, one out of more than 50 questions addressed  global warming or energy. The issue has also been absent from most town hall meetings, diner speeches and backyard meet-and-greets as the 17 Republican candidates have zigzagged across New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina.

I’d actually like to hear Republican candidates address the topic, what their beliefs are, and, more importantly, what their plans are for energy production. I really do not care that much if they are believers: I care if they plan to Do Something about it, because Doing Something about it means damaging policies that put even more power in the hands of the Central Government.

The UK Guardian, which has given up on journalism in favor of climate change activism, is likewise annoyed that there was no talk of guns, “climate change”, and race relations. Again, I’d love to hear them take these issues on from a Conservative point of view, making sure to note that

  1. Democrats want to disarm law abiding citizens while being soft on the actual criminals that commit crime
  2. Refuse to practice what they preach on climate change, while offering legislation, rules, and regulations that are damaging to the economy, hurt the lower and middle classes, and give government tons more control over our lives, private entities, and the economy
  3. Race has gotten much worse under the Obama administration, and, hey, let’s face it, Democrats treat Blacks simply as a voting block to be patronized, all while attempting to keep Blacks poor and reliant on government, and ignoring the massive Black on Black crime in Democratic Party run cities.

I really do not think Democrats would like this debate if Republicans came out swinging and attacking.

Easier than rewriting all the time. Also, the listing order has to do with how they are added over time, not how good a post is. I just copy and paste from the previous week, then edit. If you see one of the *’s, go ahead and check out the blog anyhow, see if there is an update. I cannot update with my Android during the day.
