By 2100, 10 Cities Where Temperatures Will Never Fall Below 50 Degrees

Winter is the fastest warming season in most of the United States, and in certain parts of the country, winter weather never arrived this year. In January 2006, record-breaking temperatures exceeding 90°F were reported in parts of Florida and Texas. For multiple states across the Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions, 2026 was the warmest winter ever, with average temperatures exceeding 20th century seasonal norms by more than 7°F.  Due in part to unprecedented warmth in the winter months, snow accumulation hit historic lows in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, contributing to dangerous and ongoing drought conditions.

The winter warming trend is not an isolated phenomenon. Across the continental United States, the average temperature from December 2025 through February 2026 was 37°F, or about 5°F higher than the 20th century norm. Additionally, a recent report from the non-profit research and advocacy group Climate Central found that between 1970 and 2025, winter temperatures rose in all but five of the 244 cities included in the study – in most cases, by 4°F or more.

Oh, look, the sciencey people do not understand how averages work

Currently, there are only a handful of U.S. cities where average daily lows in the winter months do not fall below 50°F. But, if the current rate of warming continues unchecked, that number will grow considerably in the coming decades.

Using data from Climate Central and NOAA, Climate Crisis 247 identified the U.S. cities where temperatures will never fall below 50°F again. We ranked all 150 cities with available data from both sources on the projected average daily low during the winter season by the end of the century. Calculations were made using local average annual rates of warming between 1975 and 2025 and applying that rate to average local temperatures in the winter of 2025. Only cities where average daily winter lows are not already above 50°F are listed. All cities with projected daily lows of at least 49.9°F between the beginning of December and the end of February are listed.

AP Posts Story Of Trans Sex Work In Nepal, Proves Why USAID Needed To Be Shut Down

AP post on USAID cuts backfires as critics question taxpayer-funded Nepal transgender jobs

An Associated Press social media post about transgender aid workers in Nepal turning to sex work after losing their jobs due to U.S. foreign aid cuts sparked a wave of conservative backlash, with critics arguing the video made the case for defunding USAID rather than saving it.

The AP post said that in Nepal, where “a conservative culture leaves openly transgender people with few legal job options,” around 100 LGBTQ aid workers left jobless by U.S. funding cuts had turned to sex work to survive. An accompanying video focused on Rubi Lama, a former HIV outreach worker who said USAID-funded programs had provided free condoms, lubricant and HIV-prevention medication before the cuts.

“When USAID funding was there, condoms were free, lubricant was also distributed … for free,” Lama said in the video, adding that HIV treatments, including PrEP, were also available without cost. “But, now it is gone.”

Maybe the funding should have gone to things like keeping people from getting HIV, teaching them that unprotected sex with people who like butt sex is a bad idea? Of course, probably only around 20-30% of the money actually went to the “program”, with the rest disappearing into the pockets of NGOs and government officials.

The framing quickly drew criticism from conservatives who said the story raised the opposite question: why American taxpayers were funding those programs in the first place.

Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, was among the conservatives who argued the AP report made the opposite point from the one intended.

“Our tax dollars no longer fund employment for transgender Nepalese sex workers,” Gill wrote on X. “Thank you for reminding us why defunding USAID was long overdue.”

“Wow very grateful that my tax dollars are no longer funding a bunch of random trannies in Asia,” mocked Daily Wire host Matt Walsh “Is that the point you were trying to make or did you expect us to be somehow sad about this?”

They wanted us to be sad.

But Federalist editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway argued the AP post exposed misplaced priorities, particularly among the media, saying the outlet presented U.S. tax dollars flowing to a “trans Nepalese job protection program” as though it was a good use of public money.

“The AP announces that your hard-earned tax dollars were flowing to a trans Nepalese job protection program as if that was an even remotely good use of your money,” Hemingway wrote in a post on X. “AP is sick Democrat propaganda.”

If Democrats are so upset let them raise the funds and support this themselves. Which they really won’t do, because they don’t want to spend their own personal money on this stuff. Especially the rich ones and politicians, because the “aid” money is meant to reward those friendly NGOs and then be kickbacks to the Democrat politicians and USAID employees.

Mother Jones Says Americans Disagree With Trump On Climate Doom

Amid a summer of dangerous heat, drought, and floods, a majority of Americans are connecting increasingly severe weather to the climate crisis, new polling shows, despite efforts by President Donald Trump to dismiss global heating as a “con job” and a “hoax.”

It’s a sign that attempts to suppress and polarize climate concerns may not be seeing full success, said Grace Adcox, senior climate strategist at Data for Progress.

“We started with the question of ‘are extreme weather events increasing,’ because we thought [that] if we can find consensus on that, that can be an entry point to being able to have a more bipartisan conversation about climate and climate intervention,” she said.

About 61 percent of likely American voters believe extreme weather events have become more frequent over the past five years, the survey from the progressive polling firm Data for Progress, shared exclusively with the Guardian, found. That includes 72 percent of Democrats, 63 percent of Independents, and nearly half—46 percent—of all Republicans.

They can Believe all they want, but, most Cowboys fans think the Cowboys are the best, and they are all wrong. Belief is not science. Further, if so many Believe, then why are so few practicing what they preach.

Sheldon Whitehouse, the Rhode Island senator who has long criticized Democrats for quieting their talk of global warming—or “climate-hushing”—said the new data “adds to the mountain of evidence that the public is way ahead of the politicians on the dire consequences of climate change.”

Sheldon Whitehouse takes a boatload of fossil fueled private jet flights every year, so, maybe he should sit this out.

The researchers also asked participants about whether or not specific forms of extreme weather are being “worsened by climate change.” Majorities linked climate change to worsening wildfires (64 percent), droughts (63 percent), flooding and flash flooding (62 percent), hurricanes (59 percent), and severe thunderstorms and hailstorms (59 percent). But heatwaves topped the list, with 67 percent saying climate change is making them worse—including 48 percent of Republicans, the highest share for any of the extreme weather events surveyed.

But, none of them are getting more extreme. It’s a doomsday cult.

Cool: NYC Immigration Courts Using Mass Hearings, Deportations For Missing

NYC immigration courts are ground-zero for a new deportation tool: Mass hearings

Deportation orders to immigration court no-shows are spiking in New York City and nationwide, fueled by mass immigration court hearings that are frequently held with little notice and scheduled for 100 or more participants at a time, according to a new report by bklg.org, an organization analyzing immigration court data.

Immigration judges in New York City issued nearly 4,500 removal orders in June to people who didn’t show up to immigration hearings, up from the 2,000 to 3,000 such orders issued from January through May, according to the data. The June total was the third-highest in the country, behind immigration courts in Dallas and Chicago.

Trump administration officials did not respond to requests for comment on the spike in deportation orders linked to the hearings — colloquially called “mega master hearings” — but federal officials have defended the mass hearings as necessary to clear a yearslong backlog in immigration cases.

The rise in such proceedings comes as the Supreme Court declined to review a lower court’s ruling requiring the federal government to take additional steps to notify immigrants of their hearing when notices are returned in the mail. Immigration attorneys and advocates say the hearings shortchange immigrants who too often fail to receive notice that they have been summoned to court.

Hey, you know what happens to YOU as an American citizen if you miss the mail and fail to show for criminal court a judge can issue a “Failure to Appear” (FTA) and an order for your arrest immediately. Your license can, and probably will, be suspended if you miss traffic court. If you miss a civil court you can lose a suit under default judgement, or have wages garnished or frozen bank account. Miss jury duty and you can be fined or worse. Of course, you are an American citizen, and the Dems are more concerned with illegal aliens.

What concerns are immigration lawyers and advocates raising about the hearings?
Many are sounding the alarm over what they say is an erosion of due process rights for immigrants in the name of increased efficiency.

They say many immigrants receive little to no notice of their hearings. When people don’t appear, judges may order their removal from the country.

Are they in the U.S. illegally? That’s it. Nothing else is needed. Get out.

We’re moving from a period of climate warnings to one of consequences

Wait, I don’t have global heating on here?

For a long time the premise of climate news was that humans are causing the planet to warm, and without emergency action, environmental disaster would result.

That’s changing. Increasingly the premise is that humans failed to take the climate crisis seriously and environmental disaster is here. It’s wrecking the land. It’s eliminating habitats. It’s hurting people. It’s killing people.

And it will only get worse.

The basis for this shift is all too evident in Colorado, where warming and aridification is fundamentally altering the nature of the state. Water is scarce. Fires burn with new intensity. Mountain snows are retreating. Burn scars don’t recover like they used to.

Decades of warnings about what climate change would bring largely went unheeded. We’ve crossed into a new epoch, in which predictions are giving way to facts on the ground. Scientific studies chart the transition, including two that became available in recent weeks.

So why didn’t the People’s Republic Of Colorado ban all fossil fueled vehicles? Shut down the airport? Do away with natural gas for energy? End farming for animals? And so much more?

AOC Blasted For Her Lies Over Defense Bill, Called Anti-Semitic

AOC roasted over defense bill claim as GOP lawmaker tells her to ‘stop stoking Jew hatred’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., came under fire after claiming the House-passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) would “merge parts of our military with the Israel Defense Forces,” drawing accusations that she distorted what the legislation actually does.

The fight centers on Section 219 of the House-passed National Defense Authorization Act, a provision that calls for deeper U.S.-Israel defense integration through expanded cooperation on military technology, supply chains, research, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and joint exercises.

On Wednesday, the House passed its version of the FY2027 National Defense Authorization Act in a 219-206 vote, leaving Section 219 intact.

But ahead of the vote, Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X that the NDAA “includes a provision to merge parts of our military with the IDF.”

“This amendment is an existential threat to American sovereignty and democracy,” she wrote. “Every member of Congress must vote NO.”

She’s a dope. Also, like so many of her far left Democrat Comrades, she hates Israel, and that Israel hatred morphs into Jew hatred

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin called the claim “FALSE,” accusing the congresswoman of misrepresenting the bill.

“Instead of merging the part of your brain that hates Jews with the part of your brain concocting your daily lies, you should try merging the part of your brain responsible for reading bill text with the part of your brain responsible for critical thinking,” Zeldin wrote on X.

Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., similarly blasted Ocasio-Cortez, calling her to “stop stoking Jew hatred.”

“Good grief, you are either obtuse or intentionally lying. We are not merging our military with the IDF,” Lawler wrote.

More should be pointing out the Jew hatred emanating from Democrats. Just to reiterate, so many learn initially to criticize Israel, which comes from left wing teachers in school, especially college, as pushed by the Muslim Brotherhood backed Muslim Student Association, which is full of Islamic extremists. That turns into hatred of Israel, and, then, just as the MSA wants, hatred of Jews. Heck, lots of Jews find themselves in this trap, like lots of white Democrats find themselves hating on whites. REPORT: Jewish Democrat Donors Plan to Bankroll Republican if El-Sayed Wins Primary

Jewish Democrat donors in Metro Detroit are planning fundraisers for presumptive Republican nominee Mike Rogers as a “hedge” should far-left Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed win Michigan’s August 4 Democrat primary, according to a report published Monday.

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported that several prominent Metro Detroit Jews who have long raised money for Democrats are preparing fundraisers for the former congressman, while others plan to help him outright if El-Sayed takes the nomination, one person close to Rep. Haley Stevens’ (D-MI) campaign said.

Dennis Bernard, national chair of government relations for the nonpartisan Jewish Federations of North America and a Metro Detroit resident, said those donors have made their position clear should El-Sayed prevail.

“There are leaders in our Jewish community who are longtime, lifelong Democrats and Democratic fundraisers, who are very concerned with where their party’s going,” Bernard said. “And if this is the case, they’ve made it clear, both financially and with their vote, that they would support Mike Rogers in the event El-Sayed wins the primary.”

“This is a truly once-in-a-lifetime moment where you have to become a single-issue voter,” he said. “And that issue is antisemitism, our Judaism, and Israel. This is where you put party third: our people first, our country second.”

It doesn’t have to be single issue, because Islamic extremists like El-Sayed also hate America and want to institute Islamic extremism in the US. He’s a stealth candidate, pretending to be a far, far left wacko, but, he represents Islamic extremism. And, perhaps some Jews are finally starting to take note of whom Democrats really are.

Mayor Of Rochester, Mn, Wants Other People To Pay For “Carbon Pollution”

Rochester mayor: Minnesota cities can’t carry the cost of climate change alone

As mayor of Rochester, I’m proud of the work we are doing locally to address climate change and promote sustainability. But as Minnesotans swelter through this recent heat wave and suffer from terrible air quality, I’m reminded that cities cannot carry the costs of climate change alone.

Much of our state was under an extreme heat warning last week and into this week, and temperatures are expected to spike again later this week. Temperatures are reaching the upper 90s with oppressive humidity. This kind of heat doesn’t let up when the sun goes down. It gives little chance for our homes to cool down, and provides little respite for our public infrastructure.

Cities like Rochester face mounting costs when extreme heat strikes, posing a health emergency for our residents and an all-hands-on-deck response from city staff. We operate public buildings and transportation systems that become critical cooling centers when families need them most. We maintain streets, pipes, utilities and water systems that are stressed by high temperatures, humidity and extreme rainfalls that come with our more volatile weather.

You should start with banning all fossil fueled vehicles and air conditioning. Oh, and any heating that comes from natural gas.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Lawmakers should hold these companies accountable and create a climate superfund to help local governments prepare for climate change.

One idea worth serious consideration is creating a climate superfund which would require fossil fuel polluters to pay to clean up the mess they knowingly caused. It would give state and local governments money to adapt to the changing climate, while limiting the burden on Minnesota families.

Cities will continue to do our part. Rochester will continue to cut emissions where we can, conserve energy and grow our tree canopy. We’ll continue working toward making our community a healthier, more sustainable place for our kids and grandkids to live.

Well, hey, maybe you should shut down Rochester International Airport, eh? But, good luck on the polluter pays thing, because they are already being shot down in court, and, get this, people like you, mayor Kim Norton, would actually be polluters per climate cult dogma.

The Choice Facing Some Immigrants: Pay $1.8 Million in Fines or Leave

The Trump administration is aggressively deploying a potent tool to pressure undocumented immigrants into self-deporting — civil fines that can total as much as $1.8 million.

More than 100,000 people have received letters from the Homeland Security Department informing them that they owe $998 for each day that they have stayed in the United States after an immigration judge has ruled they have no legal right to remain in the country.

Fines for failing to heed a “removal” order have been permitted since the passage of immigration legislation in 1996. Until President Trump, however, no commander in chief had imposed such penalties. The effort to do so in his first term ran into logistical obstacles and never gained traction.

But after returning to the White House last year and starting his mass deportation campaign, Mr. Trump ordered “all appropriate action to ensure the assessment and collection of all fines and penalties” from people unlawfully in the country.

Now, with the administration seeking to increase financial pressure on undocumented immigrants, the pace of fines has been accelerating, according to immigration lawyers.

For immigrants who receive one, the notices amount to an agonizing ultimatum: abandon the lives they have built, or face the threat of financial ruin if the government moves to collect on the debt. Even under a five-year statutory limit, the accumulated penalties can reach a $1.8 million per person.

OK, so, let’s say I built a life hiding on the property of a NY Times bigwig, and eventually get caught: are they going to let me stay on their land? Let’s say I build a cabin in the middle of a national forest, will they let me stay? Of course not. Will the Elites let me squat and build a life at their McMansions by the sea? Nope.

Many people have “built lives” after committing crimes, and, the cops and legal system do not allow them to go back to those lives when they are caught. The best thing for these illegals to do is simply leave.

Vivi Vasquez, a Mexican immigrant, has lived in the United States for 17 years and has an active humanitarian visa application. With a work permit, she has legally worked at a convenience store and cared for seniors.

Expecting an update on her visa application, Ms. Vasquez opened an envelope that arrived in April bearing a D.H.S. logo. Instead of news about her visa, she found a form letter in which the government had checked a box next to a statement that she had “willfully” failed to depart the United States.

She owed the government $1,820,352, according to the document, which was reviewed by The New York Times. Tucked in the same envelope was a flier titled, “Self-Deport with CBP Home and Leave on Your Own Terms,” referring to an app run by Customs and Border Protection. It offered “forgiveness” for all fines to those who used the app to self deport.

“I couldn’t sleep, and I was nervous every morning I left home for work,” said Ms. Vasquez, who has three U.S.-born children, ages 10, 12 and 14.

And scaring illegal aliens, causing them to self deport is the point. The Trump admin knows there’s no way they will get that money, they just want the illegals to go.
