Who will be correct? There are a bunch of different forecasts from the different outlets across NC. Of course, it shouldn’t be crossing at all, as it should have been shot down before it even crossed into Alaska. And Senators like Tillis need to be asking hard questions, starting with “when did US military and intelligence agencies first notice the balloon?” If the answer is “Montana”, a whole bunch of people need to be fired. For all the money we spend over decades, it should have been easy to pick it up.

The projected path doesn’t take it over my humble abode, passing west and south of us, but darned if it doesn’t look like it’ll be spying on Sister Toldjah and our esteemed host!
This thing (weather balloon that blew off course my ass) should have been taken out the moment that it was 11.99 miles off the coast of Alaska and the bill for tracking, destroying and clean-up should have been sent to the CCP.
I’m not happy that the CCP is doing this kind of crap, but I’m disgusted and angry that our betters in .gov allowed this.
All military and .gov personnel that were involved in letting that thing get within 10 miles of our airspace need to be punished severely.

So, now the US has shot down the Biden Embarrassment Balloon, after it crossed the entire country, and then passed over the east coast into the open water, after the balloon’s mission had been accomplished.
