Stupid Party Expels George Santos

There’s no doubt Santos is a scumbag and liar, and will most likely be found guilty in court.

He has yet to be convicted of a crime in a court as of yet

(Breitbart) Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is no longer a member of Congress. The House voted 311-114 Friday morning to expel him in the first House expulsion since 2002.

The historic vote sets a new precedent in the House. Santos departs even as he has not been convicted of a crime and has pleaded not guilty.

Santos survived two earlier attempts to expel him, but could not hold on after a brutal report from the House Ethics Committee on its investigations into his actions.

The ethics committee report included evidence Santos knowingly filed false reports with the Federal Election Commission, used campaign funds for personal purposes including subscriptions to OnlyFans and botox treatments, and willfully violated ethics laws as it relates to his Financial Disclosure (FD) Statements filed with the House.

OK. So, when does the House start expelling other members?

Thursday [Santos] introduced a privileged resolution to expel Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who pleaded guilty weeks ago to a misdemeanor for pulling a fire alarm in the Capitol complex.

“If the House wants to start different precedent and expel me, that is going to be the undoing of a lot of members of this body because this will haunt them in the future when mere allegations are sufficient to have members removed from office when duly elected by their people in their respective states and districts,” Santos said Thursday.

When is the vote on Bowman? You know that 100% of Democrats will vote to keep him. When do they hold a vote on AOC for breaking House ethics rules for her Met Gala attendance. When is Swallwell expelled for consorting with a Chinese spy? How about serial liar Adam Schiff, who’s been censored for his lying about the fake Russia collusion? And so many who are acting as insider traders? They won’t expel anti-Semites Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, or many of their Squad members. They won’t impeach Myorkas or Biden. How about

And now it appears as if NY gov Kathy Hochul is going to pick someone, instead of holding a special election. She will not be picking a Republican, you know she’ll pick a far left Progressive Democrat. Good job, Republicans!

Mr Teach: now it appears as if NY Gov Kathy Hochul is going to pick someone

We hope Mr Teach just neglected to read the article he linked, otherwise he’s lying to his hapless readers once again.

    Governor Hochul said she is:

“prepared to undertake the solemn responsibility of filling the vacancy in New York’s 3rd District by scheduling a special election. The people of Long Island and Queens deserve nothing less.”

Did the expulsion of George Santos prompt Mr Teach’s first time calling the nuGOP stupid?

It’s unlikely the House Repubs wanted to be saddled with Santos’ litany of crimes, BS, cross-dressing and lie after lie after. His only redeeming quality for the nuGOP was a reliable vote. And yes, it’s possible the voters in that district will elect a Dem, but after all they elected Santos, so anything is possible.

Unlike communists like yourself conservatives do not believe in screwing the laws because they don’t go along with what we want. Just like we don’t cheat on elections because they don’t go the way we want. We all here have been calling the GOP stupid for quite some time. It’s you on the left who always March in lockstep with the communist running your party. You never questioned them you never questioned their motives you never questioned the fact that they never arrive at the goals they state. Basically you gobbled down all their bullshit the way Kamala sucked willies Willy.

That said I don’t see how you throw somebody out of Congress who was elected by the people without at least a trial. Preferably a trial and an election. Republicans who did that were acting like democommies. We never used to just point our finger and accuse somebody of being guilty and that was the verdict not the charge. Now it seems to be if you’re charged you’re guilty. The only people that don’t need evidence are Democrats of course and there friends on the left the communist Nazis socialist and Muslims.

        LGB,

Fascists such as you do not believe in laws at all! You fascists make it up as you go. Like your fascist Leader, you bluster, fume, bully, threaten and lie. Fortunately, the United States of America has a Constitution, a set of rules and our courts. We’re a Democratic Republic.

Anyway, here’s what the Constitution (remember it?) says…

        Article I, Section 5, Paragraph 2:
Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member.

I support the Senate expelling Sen Menendez if he refuses to resign. BTW, Santos had a trial with several hundred jurors. He was convicted. There is no Constitutional mechanism for voters to recall a Representative or Senator. It’s up to the House or Senate to clean up messes.

Would you like to amend our Constitution?

Anyway, you support the traitor Fat Donnie so nothing you say matters. https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

          The Constitution also says:

          Section. 2.
The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.

It would have been better if the House waited until Santos was convicted before taking away the rights of the citizens of the district who elected him. IF the citizens failed, or if he was convicted before the election, to remove him the House could then exercise their SECONDARY right to act as they see fit.

This basically was a political act of the Never Trumpers wing of the Republican party.

            Sgt Chickenshit for Brains,

Would you then just repeal that part of the Constitution were the House can expel a Representative?

  2. Mad Celt says:

About time something has been done to send a message to these suit wearing thugs that public office means something greater than their bank accounts.

  3. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mr Teach asks: when does the House start expelling other members?

Yes, as soon as the nuGOP secures a 2/3rd majority, or when someone as awful as George Santos crawls into office.

New York’s 3rd District, while usually voting for the Dem candidate, has a history of having both Republican (Peter King) and Democratic (Steve Israel, Tom Suozzi) representatives. Rep Suozzi decided not to run for re-election and Santos handily (53-47) defeated Dem Robert Zimmerman in 2022. Reports of Santos’ dishonesty were circulating but the voters elected him anyway. Democracy!!

  4. h says:

Pulling a firealarm is a misdemeanor. Quite frankly I wish that he stayed in the House he could be a poster boy for grifting.
Maybe Trump will pardon him if elected, He pardonded Ric Renzi from AZ after his conviction in 2014

  5. h says:

Definitely lets keep him in to show America what Republican grifters are like

  6. James Lewis says:

    Chicken Little

Would you then just repeal that part of the Constitution were the House can expel a Representative?

No, dumb ass, as noted, the desires of the House should be SECONDARY to those of the people in his/her district.

  7. Elwood P. Dowd says:

    Chickenshit,

    Write your Representative.

Are there any crimes a Representative could be accused of that would justify expulsion after a thorough investigation by the House?

Treason? Rape? Battery? Theft of government secrets? A House term would be over before it would come to trial.

We understand your desire to keep a conservative House majority at all costs.

Contrary to Mr Teach’s mistake/lie, the voters in NY’s 3rd District will get to vote on a new Representative! In fact, Mr Santos can run again!

    • James Lewis says:

      Chicken Little

Are there any crimes a Representative could be accused of that would justify expulsion after a thorough investigation by the House?

The operative words that expose you are…. “could be accused of…” and “thorough…”

In this country you are presumed innocent until arrested, tried and either convicted or not.

And who decides how thorough is the investigation?

The majority voters in the reps district elect. Anyone can try and change his/her position by calling, writing, etc. But the bottom line is that the representative has been elected.

There is plenty of time to expel by election or by the House IF the person is convicted.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

        Cap’n Chickenshit,

Representative Santos’ own party investigated him. The full House voted to expel him. We sympathize with your chagrin that you’re losing a MAGAt vote and that it appears the will of the 3rd District of NY voters was overruled by the Republicans, but those are the rules.

Again, the Constitution gives the House the right to expel a member according to House rules. Take it up with Speaker Johnson and the House Republicans. I cannot help you.

Santos can sue to get his position back. Their will be a special election and Mr Santos can run again!!

This is the last our comment on the issue.

        • James Lewis says:

          Chicken Little

Our last comment?? You have fleas?? Bed Bugs??? Mice???

          Yes, the Constitution does.

But that action is secondary to other parts.

          Like the 5th and 6th

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

        • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

So when it comes to trump you’re for kangaroo courts when it comes to regular people being prosecuted for protesting at the capital here for no court at all and for Santos you just say screw Republicans they don’t deserve to be represented in any court. Oh you Nazis really are great you know how to blame everybody else for being a dictator while you dictate. You are the most immoral person that has ever commented at this location. I do hope that your last comment on the subject but I know you can’t hold to your word so I’m sure you won’t as a matter of fact I’ll bet you you can’t. Mostly because you’re a liar to begin with secondly because you’re a thief. And I get to do that because you don’t have to have a trial now an accusation is good enough at least that’s what you guys think.
