Three of the protesters were charged with assaulting Capitol police officers, a serious charge. It’s unlikely that most of the protesters will be held without bail, as almost all were non-violent. There were no reports of protesters beating police officers with flag poles, breaking down doors or windows, or screaming to “Hang Kamala Harris!”
That seems a different approach than the Jan 6 “kerfufflers” used, doesn’t it?

It’s what they do. Everyone on the right has known this since the Clinton administration. But aside from the permanent loss of media credibility on every topic, there are a few trends we should remember.
1. Hamas has a history of staging atrocities for the benefit of the press (in addition to actual atrocities).
2. Hamas has a history of hiding military targets within protected structures like hospitals, schools and mosques.
3. Professional journalism has degraded to not much more than reprinting what they read on Tic-toc and twitter. But even ten years ago, they didn’t do much more than reprint whatever was in AP.
4. Unless you have personal involvement, it is unlikely you will ever know what is really going on over there. You certainly cannot trust the media, the government official announcements, nor the social media.
Have the con friends not been watching the media? Story after story after story about the horrific acts committed by the Hamas terrorists. Murders, beheadings, kidnappings, rapes, killing children in front of parents, killing parents in front of children…
Interviews with Israeli officials/responders, interviews with US officials supporting Israel including Sec State Blinken and President Brandon actually in Israel, including US Senators and Reps in support of Israel.
Coverage of any pro-Palestinian (not pro-Hamas!) discussions is uniformly negative.

Hamas is a terrorist organization intent on the death of Israelis and the end of Israel, but we are naive if we believe the annihilation of Hamas will solve the differences between Palestinian peoples and Israel. But it’s necessary. An Israeli ground offensive into Gaza to eradicate Hamas will be difficult.
