Obligatory Trump Booked With Mugshot Post

Democrats have been working on arresting Republicans since the George W Bush administration, and were all in on Trump even before Trump won in 2016

I was hoping more for a “Queen Of Chaos” type mugshot, but, I’m sure there was a reason for him doing it like that

Bill Of Rights(Daily Caller) Former President Donald Trump approached reporters after surrendering himself Thursday night in Georgia, and shared his frustration about his arrest after being fingerprinted and having his mugshot taken.

“I really believe this is a very sad day for America. This should never happen. If you challenge an election you should be able to challenge an election. I thought the election was a rigged election, a stolen election — and I should have every right to do that. As you know you have many people that you’ve been watching over the years do the same thing,” Trump said.

“Whether it’s Hillary Clinton or Stacey Abrams or many others. When you have that great freedom to challenge you have to be able to otherwise you’re gonna have very dishonest elections. What has taken place here is a travesty of justice — we did nothing wrong, I did nothing wrong — and everybody knows it. I’ve never had such support.”

Trump said “what they’re doing is election interference” and “there has never been anything like it in our country before.”

“This is their way of campaigning,” Trump added. “This is one instance but you have three other instances.”

It’s going to be a tough bar to prosecute Trump and the others, who’ll stand on their 1st Amendment Rights, including Free Speech and petitioning for redress of grievance. Even if he loses in county court, it’ll be killed on appeal. And, could there be unintended consequences if Trump wins in 2024?

(Breitbart) The mugshot of President Donald Trump has rallied the opposition behind him. And it will give the former president a mandate, should he win the election, to sweep away the rot in our government, without compromise.

Now that Democrats have shown how far they will go, Republicans will feel it necessary to prevent them from ever doing it again. (snip)

Big changes will be made, and justifiably so. Secret archives will be opened. Mass pardons will be offered. Whole government departments will be dismantled or relocated. There will be no kangaroo courts — none of the perversions Democrats have committed — but the Democrats behind the “Russia collusion” hoax, including Hillary Clinton, should call their lawyers.

There will be no mercy for those who have attacked the rights and values of our constitution and then claimed to be acting in defense of democracy — a democracy they abhor when it provides leaders that do not serve their own corrupt interests.

Let’s say a different Republican is the nominee and wins: this could well happen. Even Trump hating Chris Christie could do this. It wouldn’t require all the squishy Congressional Republicans, either, the get-along-go-along ones.

But I found, to my surprise, once I saw the mugshot, that I felt excited, almost elated. Trump’s glowering face did not show pain or shame. It did not even show anger. It was a look of righteous indignation, the glare of a man who may be a prisoner now, but is actually in control. It was the expression he wore a thousand times on episodes of “The Apprentice.” It was how he looked when he said, “You’re Fired.”

They will all be fired, if he wins. And half the country is prepared to do whatever it takes to give him the chance.

Time will tell.

The man has a point. https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

Asked why he was there protesting in favor of Trump, the man said: “You wanna know why I’m here to support President Trump? Because they done did a black man like this for decades. Making up charges. I know Trump is innocent. I support Trump against this corrupt two-tier justice system, that’s why I’m here to show my support as a black man for Trump, and I’m wearing my shirt ‘Niggas 4 Trump 2024’ – and I mean that,” he said.

The complicated Georgia state case WILL be difficult, but tRump cannot be pardoned except perhaps by the Georgia Governor. On the other hands, his clear guilt in the Jack Smith prosecuted cases must weigh heavily on the newly slimed-down Fat Donnie.

Turns out the mobster Fat Donnie “sold” Mar-a-Lago to Mar-a-Lago, Inc. whose owner is Lil Donnie, on August 4 for $422 million!

If Fat Donnie flees to Russia to avoid prison, will you STILL vote for him?

Anyway… although he is over 35, has lived in the US the requisite time, has not served two terms and is a natural born citizen, Donnie is not qualified to run because of our 14th Amendment barring rebels and insurrectionists.

    • JimS says:

Before being considered a “rebel” or “insurrectionist” you have to be convicted of it in a court of law. Besides, this country was founded on rebellion and insurrection. It’s right there in the Declaration that the people have the right to alter or abolish a destructive government.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Commenter: Before being considered a “rebel” or “insurrectionist” you have to be convicted of it in a court of law.

Are you certain that is true? The Southern rebel officers were not tried, let alone convicted. The 14th Amendment disqualified them from running for government offices.

BTW, the Declaration of Independence is not the law of the land, is it? Are you admitting that the Trump regime was, in fact, rebelling and insurrecting???

From conservative judge J. Michael Luttig and Harvard Law professor Laurence Tribe:

“The disqualification clause (14th Amendment, Section 3) operates independently of any such criminal proceedings and, indeed, also independently of impeachment proceedings and of congressional legislation,” they wrote. “The clause was designed to operate directly and immediately upon those who betray their oaths to the Constitution, whether by taking up arms to overturn our government or by waging war on our government by attempting to overturn a presidential election through a bloodless coup.”

Following the the 2020 election, then-President Trump made multiple attempts to overturn the results, and if successful would have regained the presidency in defiance of the will of the people. That said, he is not on trial for sedition or treason, but for conspiracy to overturn the election. He attempted to force VP Pence to toss out the EC votes and declare Trump the winner. Trump attempted to force Georgia officials to declare him the winner. Trump attempted to force several battleground Republican state legislators to overrule their voters. Challenging the vote is legal, conspiring to change the results is not.

Mr Trump is not qualified to be president and must not be allowed to run. If the far-right wants a rebellion they’ll have to do it the old-fashioned way – with guns and death.

            Pups,
He already screwed up on claiming Trump sold his property. His hate knows no limit, even earned him the moniker, 22 cent.

        • JimS says:

Your Harvard scholar is an idiot. It’s not possible for the 14th amendment to work like that. No one sane could believe that. Are you saying that because someone is accused of sedition they’re punished for it? You may think Trump is guilty, but your opinion isn’t worth a load of dingo’s kidneys. As for the treatment of Confederate officers, a lot of shady stuff was pulled in those days. Lincoln claimed the states had no right to leave and were still part of the union… so anything congress did was invalid since they didn’t have a quorum. Forming the state of West Virginia was unconstitutional, since it forbids forming a new state out of the territory of an existing state without consent of the state.
The Declaration might not be the law of the land, but it’s the founding principles of the country, so still apply.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Conmenter: Your Harvard scholar is an idiot.

How about conservative Republican former judge J. Michael Luttig? Appointed by President H.W. Bush, Asst AG for same, clerked for Scalia. John Eastman clerked for Luttig. 33 of Luttig’s 40 clerks later clerked with either Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas or Samuel Alito. Judge Luttig is a conservative.

William Baude of the University of Chicago and Michael Stokes Paulsen of the University of St. Thomas are both members of the conservative Federalist Society and wrote this regarding the 14th Amendment.

First, Section Three remains an enforceable part of the Constitution, not limited to the Civil War, and not effectively repealed by nineteenth century amnesty legislation. Second, Section Three is self-executing, operating as an immediate disqualification from office, without the need for additional action by Congress. It can and should be enforced by every official, state or federal, who judges qualifications. Third, to the extent of any conflict with prior constitutional rules, Section Three repeals, supersedes, or simply satisfies them. This includes the rules against bills of attainder or ex post facto laws, the Due Process Clause, and even the free speech principles of the First Amendment. Fourth, Section Three covers a broad range of conduct against the authority of the constitutional order, including many instances of indirect participation or support as “aid or comfort.” It covers a broad range of former offices, including the presidency. And in particular, it disqualifies former President Donald Trump, and potentially many others, because of their participation in the attempted overthrow of the 2020 presidential election.

Professor Baude clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts. He was a fellow at the Center for the Study of Constitutional Originalism. Baude has written for the libertarian Volokh Conspiracy blog. Professor Paulsen belongs to the conservative Federalist Society. Their article on the 14th Amendment was supported by professor, author and historian H.C. Richardson, author of How the South Won the Civil War (2020), The Greatest Nation on Earth (1997) and To Make Men Free: A History of the Republican Party (2014).

While professor and constitutional expert Laurence Tribe is an obvious liberal, Professors Paulsen and Baude are conservatives as is Judge Luttig. But none are Trumpian MAGAts, who have zero regard for the Constitution and the rule of law.

SOROS has ordered all Dems living in states that have open primaries for nomination to vote for Trump to be nominated.
Free beer and chips after voting for anyone who days they voted for Trump!!

    • CarolAnn says:

so the Democrats in keeping with stolen elections wanna vote for the enemy that they think is the weakest which is cheating of course and then they wanna pay people for doing so which is of course vote fixing.

Basically you guys will commit any crime and stoop to any level to make sure that nobody but a Democrat can ever win. We understand that and we’re prepared for it

What other election and ballot rigging are you considering? When we see you start this early we know you’re scared you usually don’t start stealing election until about a month before the election. But you were already rolling out a new COVID so that you can stuff ballot boxes and do harvesting. You’ve already indicted your opponent for a crime and locked up a whole bunch of protesters so that everybody knows if they protest they’re gonna go to jail and lose their house and their jobs. What else do you have in mind?

Trump’s only mistake was showing up yesterday and posting bail. He should have walked in and put his hands out and said lock me up motherfuckers. I would love to see the Democrats explain away going into an election with your opponent locked up in a jail wanna talk about illustrating the corruption of the regime that would do it in a million pictures. Sadly it appears trump was too much of A wussy to do that. I know that if it were me I’d be in jail right now holding media interviews. And costing the state of Georgia a million dollars a day insecurity and associated costs.

      • JimS says:

I’d consider “going Galt”, cashing out my businesses, and leaving the country. It’s just not worth the aggravation.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

What are the best countries for “going Galt”? All the Western European nations are even worse than the United States. Russian and Belarus would welcome conservative Americans. South America is filled with South Americans. And Africa… LOL.

          Israel? Southeast Asia? Canada? Australia?

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

CarolAnn: Democrats… wanna vote for the enemy that they think is the weakest which is cheating

LOL. Voting in open primaries is cheating? It’s called the “Limbaugh ploy”!

CarolAnn: you guys will commit any crime and stoop to any level

Trump and his lackeys keep saying that but can’t show evidence of the crimes!!

To nuRepublicans it’s a crime if a Democrat wins. They just can’t tolerate democracy.

And then the silly conspiracies! “They” are sending in a new Covid!!! “They” indicted the opponent for stealing secret government documents and trying to steal the 2020 election!! “They” arrested violent offenders for breaking into the US Capitol to prevent the EC vote certification!!

BTW, peaceful protest is perfectly legal. Ransacking the Capitol, beating police officers and threatening Congress and the VP are not legal.

You may be right that it would be to Trump’s advantage to be locked up, but the Fulton County jail is not a country club, and Donald is soft.

Trump has little chance to win the election legally, so the nuGOP is working hard in the battleground states to suppress Dem voters. MI, WI, AZ, GA, PA, NC…

On the other hand, more moderate* Repubs like Christie or Haley, and even Pence will alienate MAGAts but could win the general election. Glenn Youngkin (VA Governor) is touted as an attractive candidate. He’s a near billionaire former investment banker who picks and chooses his positions as needed.

The bitch is getting into Rimjob (aka 22Cent aka PorkChop) territory.

The hearing was marred by several outbursts from Fiorenza, who started shaking her head during the prosecutor’s argument and then spoke directly to the judge, even as her attorney beseeched her to stop.

“I have been contacting the school for years trying to get them to follow mandated reporting protocol,” Fiorenza said. “People are not trained in the technology involved… I was going to pass out flyers to parents warning them before school started because no one was listening to me.”

She also claimed that Donald Trump is the leader of a pedophile ring and said that when she was a Chicago Public Schools teacher, the government followed her students and used “remote sexual stimulation” on them.

Wonder we didn’t hear about this in the media. It’s not like she’s some tranny shooting up a school or something.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

      Stinky BoyPussy,

Ms Fiorenza was arrested for things she said???? No free speech! Fortunately, conservatives who consider our Constitutional rights to be absolute will support her.

Actually, making a threat of harm is illegal, ironically, especially when the threats are made against someone with round-the-clock Secret Service protection!!

Of course, it’s highly unlikely that Ms Fiorenza would be in a position to carry out her threat, but that’s not relevant to the charge.

By all means, Shorty, call the Secret Service and turn me in.
