Pamela Moses, a longtime activist who founded the Memphis chapter of Black Lives Matter, was sentenced to 6 years in prison for ATTEMPTING to register to vote. Moses says she was unaware she was ineligible to vote (she was on unsupervised probation), and state officials acknowledged they made an error in indicating to her that she was eligible. A judge ordered her release and the government will decide whether to prosecute again or not. That’s a riot. A citizen asks officials if it is legal for her to vote. They say, sure. Then the give her 6 years for trying to register! Ha ha! Tennessee!!
If you think that sucks, South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg killed a SD citizen one night while watching his cell phone instead of the road. Joe Boever was walking along the shoulder when Ravnsborg ran him over and drove off claiming he thought he had hit a deer. Pressure for his ouster mounted on Wednesday when it became public that Boever’s glasses were found in Ravnsborg’s car! “His face was in your windshield, Jason. Think about that,” a detective told the AG in an interrogation. A man’s face comes through your windshield, his glasses fly off – and you go home!!
Ravnsborg pleaded down to two misdemeanors, receiving no jail time and a $1000 fine for killing a man. Hilariously, in a text exchange a GOP consultant said, “Well, at least the guy was a Democrat.” That’s a riot. The man that Ravnsborg killed, Boever, 55, was a nurse and is survived by his wife Jennifer.
To her credit, Gov Noem has called for Ravnsborg’s resignation, but Ravnsborg has resisted.
