Anyway, most of the over 500 charged have been released pending their trials. Some have been denied bail based on their violent history or likelihood to flee. A few have been in solitary.
Air Force Senior Airman Reality Winner was arrested June 2017 for releasing classified information. She was held without bail for over 1 year before her sentencing Aug 2018. It’s not unusual.

None of the arrestees from Jan 6 are political prisoners. All were arrested for committing specific crimes. Almost all have been released. The remaining all have attorneys pleading their cases before judges for release, but sometimes judges decide the indicted are a flight risk or too dangerous.

We agree there should be an investigation of the conditions of DC prisoner conditions, if you agree we should do that for all local jails. Conditions in these jails have been abhorrent for decades, but the typical prisoner has little standing or social clout. For example, this year alone, 15 inmates have died at NYCs Rikers Island correctional facilities.
The Mueller “witch hunt” found several witches, and demonstrated that the Russians DID support tRump’s election. Congress impeached tRump twice but he wasn’t convicted. The American people gave him the heave ho on Nov 3.
