Media Seems Unhappy That Mississippi Gov Is Against Biden’s Vaccine Mandate

Governor Tate Reeves is pro-vaccine. He’s taken the Wuhan Flu vaccine himself. He advocates that everyone else should get it. But, he’s against Surrender Joe’s mandate, which makes the media mad, because Progressives just don’t understand anything else by governmental force

Mississippi’s governor criticizes Biden’s vaccine mandate while suggesting people get vaccinated

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves argued against the White House’s vaccine mandate, calling the “unilateral action” an attack on the people of his state and threatening to sign onto a Republican-led lawsuit against it, despite the state having the country’s highest death rate per capita.

In a contentious interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Reeves on Sunday criticized President Joe Biden’s push for more vaccinations by requiring employers with over 100 employees to require their workers to be vaccinated.

“Obviously, we made it very clear that we are prepared to sue once we actually see the rule,” Reeves said in reference to the expected rule from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration about the requirement for vaccinations in the workplace.

CNN’s Jake Tapper pushed back on Reeves to point out that the governor himself has received the vaccine and the state has historically required vaccines, for example, in schools.

“The Mississippi Legislature has enacted laws for many years regarding vaccines of many types. It is unique to kids and their ability to go to our public schools. It’s not vaccines mandated in the workplace,” Reeves said. “This is an attack by the president on hardworking Americans and hardworking Mississippians who he wants to choose between getting a jab in their arm and their ability to feed their families.”

Democrats just do not understand free will. They do not seem to understand that governmental force causes people to resist. Demands are often met with resistance. Try telling someone what to do and see how that works out. And when you already have people who are vaccine resistant, mandating compliance doesn’t work too well, either. Not that cajoling is working well in Mississippi, but, that’s their choice, and, if they get COVID, that’s their problem. They assume the risk. Sometimes you have to let people do that.

Further, most mandates for other vaccines are implemented by the States, which have the Constitutional power to do so, not the federal government, which only has power over federal employees. And, most of those vaccines work. For instance, in NC school kids are required to be vaccinated against polio and measles. The multi-shot regimens are virtually 100% effective, hence the reason there are no polio or measles outbreaks. Same thing with mumps, rubella, and diphtheria, among others. Most parents have zero problem with these, because they work. There would be no hypocrisy of Gov Reeves mandated the Wuhan Flu vaccine for the people of Mississippi (probably needing the General Assembly to pass a law), because this is a power of the state. Not Joe Biden.

Mississippi has pretty much the same vaccine requirements as North Carolina and most states. Those vaccines work a heck of a lot more than COVID ones. And it does not help the narrative when the COVID tyrants tell us that the vaccines only work as said if everyone else has one.

Jake Tapper also asked the Gov how the MS plan was working, seeing as how it’s the worst in the US. Reeves deflected to “Freedom!!”. Of course he did.

The nuCon mindset is to oppose the public health policies of masking and vaccinations, even voluntary. Because of this mindset the pandemic continues.

I wonder: could you show me where anything our distinguished host or I have said that we oppose voluntary masking or vaccination?

Our host has told us that he has taken the vaccine, as has Kye, as have I, all done voluntarily. If you want to wear a face mask, go right ahead; it’s no skin off my nose.

      “Democrats just do not understand free will,” our host wrote, and with everything you advocate, it seems as though you are intent on proving his point.;

Hypocrite Elwood P. Dowd: It surprises me that you are not ashamed to comment here. So many of your Masters’ lies you repeat have been exposed. Your routine bending over for your masters tells me that you really want to be their slave.

Teach: There would be no hypocrisy of Gov Reeves mandated the (Covid) vaccine for the people of Mississippi (probably needing the General Assembly to pass a law), because this is a power of the state.

Unfortunately, most red state governors are ignorant nuCons (redundant, we know) who are killing their citizens by opposing vaccinations and masking. Teach feels that the governors have the executive power to enact emergency mask BANS but not for emergency masking or vaccination mandates? Curious.

    • Dana says:

The apparently frustrated Mr Dowd wrote:

Would you be so kind as to document for us just which governors are “opposing vaccinations and masking”? I’ll go ahead and thank you in advance for doing so.

Now, it’s certainly true that most Republican Governors oppose mandatory vaccinations and masking, but that isn’t what you wrote, is it?

The Bluegrass State, unfortunately afflicted with a Democrat Governor, got so pissed off by his executive orders that, when Republican candidates for the state legislature ran in 2020, they campaigned on reining in the Governor’s executive authority. Andy Beshear kept saying that opinion polls showed his actions were popular, but, in the only opinion poll that actually counts for something, the one held on election day, the voters of the Commonwealth of Kentucky rewarded Republicans with 14 additional seats in the state House of Representatives, for a 75-25 majority in that body, and two additional seats, out of 19 up for election, for a 30-8 advantage in the state Senate. The voters don’t want the mandatory orders.

Teach feels that the governors have the executive power to enact emergency mask BANS but not for emergency masking or vaccination mandates? Curious.

Which Governor has issued an “emergency mask BAN”? Governor DeSantis of Florida issued an executive order banning mask mandates, but certainly nothing that bans people from wearing masks. You conflate the two; that’s faulty logic.

  5. Zachriel says:

William Teach: NC school kids are required to be vaccinated against polio and measles. The multi-shot regimens are virtually 100% effective, hence the reason there are no polio or measles outbreaks.

There have been a number of measles outbreaks in the U.S., and there have been measles breakthrough infections, as well. The reason outbreaks are relatively rare is because nearly everyone has been vaccinated for measles as part of public school mandates.

    • Kye says:

Wrong again Mouse. The reason the outbreaks are rare is because the vaccine is an ACTUAL vaccine not this phony non-vax jab they are giving out to get you fools used to being told what, how much and how often you are “mandated” by a fuking bureaucrat to put unknown and unproven medicine into your cowardly girly boy bodies. Have ya noticed how the same scared faggots who cry about the fake AGW scare are the ones scared as shit about the flu now?

BTW, since you are obviously a “child bearing person” type shouldn’t you be careful what jabs you get? Wouldn’t want to fuk up your menstruation now, would we?

      • Zachriel says:

Kye: The reason the outbreaks are rare is because the vaccine is an ACTUAL vaccine

No vaccine is perfect. Some vaccines have higher efficacies than others. The measles vaccine is about 97% effective, declining over time.
        https://www.cdc.gov/measles/vaccination.html

That means someone vaccinated against measles who is then exposed to measles has about a 1 in 30 chance of contracting the disease.
        https://www.cdc.gov/measles/vaccination.html

The reason why this doesn’t happen is because of near universal vaccination.

        • Kye says:

I did not say anything least of all a vaccine was perfect, now did I Mouse ?

What is it about you fascist/communists that require you to tell others what they said when they did not say it? I guess you want to set the terms of the discussion for both sides.

Authentic vaccines protect the vaccinated from the disease and from spreading it to others. This fraudulent jab does neither. Therefore, it is NOT an authentic vaccine.

You prove my point by not demanding, demanding I say, that everyone around you be vaccinated for polio and the fact you don’t wear masks in defense of same.

Some of us get annual flu shots. I do. But we get them voluntarily. Some of us get pneumonia shots. I do. Also voluntarily. I have never been a proponent of mandatory medicine for anything short of the bubonic plague.

It is not your right, Mr. Mouse, to force inject my body.

Now, if you were to show me the bodies stacked like cordwood, let me hear the wailing of the women at night reverberating through the countryside and the heaps of earth from the mass graves then I would endorse force. But all you have shown me was a party by Hussein where none but the servants were masked, a Met Gala populated the same way, insults, lies and propaganda about what is and is not the truth (which changes weekly) regarding this flu.

Please don’t menstruate prematurely at the thought of being wrong about this lie you and the rest of your fascist/commie brethren have circulated. We realize you’re all too invested in the propaganda to admit your guilt. Just like the stolen election, AGW, the SNAFU in Afghanistan, the fuking crime being committed daily at our Southern border and of course the latest murder of 10 innocent civilians by droning ordered by the liar in chief, junta joe the baby killer.

But until you call for the closing of our border and the end, at least temporarily to immigration we REFUSE to believe you are serious about either this flu or the efficacy of any medicines you suggest.

You on the left have perpetrated so many lies over the last several years we can’t believe a word you say.

          • Zachriel says:

Kye: I did not say anything least of all a vaccine was perfect

Nor did we say you did.

Kye: Authentic vaccines protect the vaccinated from the disease and from spreading it to others.

The Pfizer vaccine is 95% efficacious against the Alpha variant, and about 80% efficacious against the Delta variant. By preventing disease, it reduces its spread. The evidence supports this, as the vast majority of hospitalizations in the U.S. are among the unvaccinated.

Kye: You prove my point by not demanding, demanding I say, that everyone around you be vaccinated for polio and the fact you don’t wear masks in defense of same.

Nearly everyone is the U.S. is vaccinated for polio as it is required for entry into public schools in every state. Masks are not required because polio is primarily spread through fecal-oral transmission. Nor is polio prevalent, due to near universal vaccination.

Kye: Also voluntarily. I have never been a proponent of mandatory medicine for anything short of the bubonic plague.

If you live in the U.S., you have almost certainly been under vaccine mandates.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Kye has become a babbling bigoted idiot. He hypocritically accepted the vaccine for himself but now opposes it for others. How noble. He should a man for once and volunteer unmasked in Covid ward.

We HAVE noticed the same cementheads who claim Covid is a mild influenza also deny the reality of global warming also claim that their Lord and Savior DJ tRump won the election he lost by millions are the same cowardly cementheads terrified of Muslims and Mexicans. Now that THEY are vaccinated they rail against the vaccines. How noble…

  6. david7134 says:

I see the 3 stooges are holding the liberal line about vaccines. They consistently lie about all aspects of peoples legitimate concerns. Conservatives are smarter than liberals and know that this vaccine is much different from those in the past. Then we have the lies from our progressives/ communist/ illegitimate government, numerous excessive illnesses are showing up. As the three stooges are not very bright, it would be wise for them to hold their opinions, especially the soy boy Z.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

We can’t help but note that david duke and KKKye have dropped all pretense at reason and grown-up discussion but much like the deteriorating Dana and Teach are content to live in a fantasy world of misinformation, personal beliefs and nuCon conspiracies.

You’re both KKKrazy!! You feel tRump won the election. You feel Covid is the flu. You feel global warming is a commie hoax. You feel Covid vaccines are not vaccines. You feel President Biden has dementia. You feel, you believe, you imagine, you conjecture, you guess, you know things that are not true!!

Put on your big boy pants, saddle up and ride back into the world of reason!

      • david7134 says:

Remember, I went to school with David Duke and thus witnessed his very vigorous speeches and came away with an idea of his beliefs. Guess what, he has the same socialistic aspirations as you and the other stooges. As a result, the KKK is more like what you desire, especially with your racism and bigotry.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          david duke,

So david claims his anti-Jewish, racist, white supremacist, neo-Nazi, tRump supporter, alt-right, ultra-right conservative, Republican namesake is actually a closet socialist who hid his true motives his entire life from LSU to today.

Yes, and one of your commenter buddies has FDA contacts who shared the private motives of the two FDA vaccine scientists who recently resigned.

You can’t read very well can you Elwood.

Elwood makes the unfounded and stupid comment about me:

Yes, and one of your commenter buddies has FDA contacts who shared the private motives of the two FDA vaccine scientists who recently resigned.

            What I actually said:

I do my research and in this case I heard from co-workers of the two doctors as to why they were leaving.

I did not say I had FDA contacts. You did. I did not say anyone shared the private motives of the two FDA vaccine scientists. You Did. What I said is I heard from co-workers as to why they are leaving.

The Food and Drug Administration is in disarray because of political tension surrounding the COVID booster shots.

Politico spoke to people involved in the situation, including 11 former and current health officials. Many in the press were on top of this from the very beginning including talking to close associates of the two.

I choose to keep that information confidential but you can find this information on twitter if you look hard enough. Fool! Its just you don’t look hard enough you just make shit up from the first post you read by a reliably leftist website.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

So the evidence that Drs Gruber and Krause announced their retirements because of their concerns with the “safety” and “lack of study” of the Covid vaccines is somewhere on “twitter”? Solid sourcing.

Mr est1950 “heard from coworkers” of the two… on twitter?

            Curiouser and curiouser…

  7. Dana says:

It’s a good thing we have our First Amendment, or the left here would do as they are in our neighbor to the north. The new Brunswick Minister of Health has ordered the Archbishop of Moncton to close all archdiocesan churches to the unvaccinated, denying to the unvaccinated over the age of 12 the sacraments of marriage, the Eucharist, Reconciliation (which, for non-Catholics, means Confession and Absolution), Anointing of the Sick, Baptism, and Confirmation.

More, the Minister has required the churches to enforce the edict by setting up vaccination documents recording, and the Archbishop said that the lists “may eventually be requested by the government.”

The left just love to have documents on you, love to have every possible means of control over the lives or ordinary people as they can.

Mr Dowd, of course, would probably see this dive into authoritarianism as reasonable, as for our own good. There are many problems that authoritarianism could solve in our country: we could, for example, virtually end the crime problem if we just got rid of juries and the presumption of innocence. We could solve the problem of political dissent if we outlawed the freedom of speech and of the press. We could virtually eliminated terrorism if we outlawed Islam and formed an established state church which everyone was compelled to attend.

    • Zachriel says:

Dana: The new Brunswick Minister of Health has ordered the Archbishop of Moncton to close all archdiocesan churches to the unvaccinated

The First Amendment doesn’t prevent the government from imposing reasonable rules to control pandemics. Indeed, vaccines can be made compulsory (Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 1905).

      • Kye says:

“The First Amendment doesn’t prevent the government from imposing reasonable rules to control pandemics”

Eliminating the Freedom of Religion, Freedom of assembly, Freedom of Speech, Freedom from unreasonable search and others are not “reasonable rules” they are a complete invalidation of our Constitution, Human Rights and God given rights.

Aside from the fact that none of these illegal, immoral, inhuman acts have “controlled the fake pandemic” all they have done is establish a cast system in America where well heeled rich leftists throw parties while their masked slaves stand and serve. It’s all a lie and you are part of it.

Indeed, citing a decision by the formerly supreme court about an actual mass killing event and applying it to the flu is arbitrary and simplistic. The one has little to do with today’s illegal overreach.

Finally, this “vaccination” is not by traditional definition an actual vaccination. It, like you and your communist self-hating retards a fake.

        • Zachriel says:

Kye: Eliminating the Freedom of Religion, Freedom of assembly, Freedom of Speech, Freedom from unreasonable search and others are not “reasonable rules” they are a complete invalidation of our Constitution, Human Rights and God given rights.

All rights have limitations. We provided the relevant Supreme Court ruling. Nothing you wrote addresses the ruling and how the law and constitution apply.

Kye: Finally, this “vaccination” is not by traditional definition an actual vaccination.

Of course it’s a vaccination. It primes the immune system to fight the contagion. Or did you think variolation is the only Trueâ„¢ Vaccine?

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Dr Kye is spreading disinformation regarding vaccines

          vaccine: noun

          vac·cine | \ vak-ˈsēn , ˈvak-ˌsēn \
          plural vaccines

          Definition of vaccine

1: a preparation that is administered (as by injection) to stimulate the body’s immune response against a specific infectious agent or disease: such as

a: an antigenic preparation of a typically inactivated or attenuated (see ATTENUATED sense 2) pathogenic agent (such as a bacterium or virus) or one of its components or products (such as a protein or toxin)

b: a preparation of genetic material (such as a strand of synthesized messenger RNA) that is used by the cells of the body to produce an antigenic substance (such as a fragment of virus spike protein)

NOTE: Vaccines may contain adjuvants (such as aluminum hydroxide) designed to enhance the strength and duration of the body’s immune response.

2: a preparation or immunotherapy that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against noninfectious substances, agents, or diseases (e.g., anti-ricin)

Daniel Moynihan: Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts.

Does duke disagree with the Merriam-Webster definition of a “vaccine”?

If not, do you have a point?

Kye is wrong about the anti-Covid-19 vaccines. Period. Move on.

We’ve noted that as part of the nuCon strategy to destroy America, they have adopted the tactic of “anti-expertism”! To a nuCon, facts are malleable to be bent and shaped for their own advantage.

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”

“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.”

“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master – – that’s all.”

NuCons fervently believe many things that are demonstrably untrue. In the swirling fantasies of the nuCon hivemind conspiracies fill the void of causation of events.

  8. est1950 says:

Not to fear the left has moved the goal posts again.

The current crop of leftists who are screaming “WERE ALL GONNA DIE!!” are now pushing HOSPITALIZATIONS and since every one going into the hospital are tested they are finding that 50 percent of the hospitalizations are mild and or asymptomatic because they were there to have their tonsils REMOVED, but since they tested positive….COVID IS OUT OF CONTROL when 80 percent of the country has been vaccinated or has immunity from having already contracted the disease as in 36 million Americans have had covid on top of the vaccinated.

BUT ACCORDING TO THE CARES ACT hospitals RECEIVE a 50,000 dollar bonus for COVID PATIENTS!!!!

So pack em in and then scream CASES, hospitals are over crowded….straining to the bursting point. The DeSantis who wants more medicine is told no by BIDEN….SO BIDEN CONTINUES TO SHOW HE IS A MASS MURDERED as is the LEFT.

But the commies got a plan. CLOWARD AND PIVEN THE NATION INTO BANKRUPTCY. The problem is its not working so they have to double down by passing a humongous infrastructure and budget that also takes away the states rights guaranteed in the constitution for voting.

Thats okay though. CHAIRMAN XI has a plan. The COMMIES HAVE A PLAN and that plan is to call everyone a white nationalist….EVEN BLACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That disagree with Chairman XI’s plan to destroy the United States.

SERIOUSLY AMERICANS THIS IS WHAT YOU VOTED FOR IN 2020. ENJOY!!
