Being a Bronze Star recipient myself I would be interested in how an individual who never once engaged the enemy won two such cherished awards. I hear he also got a Purple Heart for a boating accident cut to his hand in The Delta.

That’s simply false. Kerry still carries shrapnel from a wound he suffered in Vietnam. Kerry received a Silver Star for action in Vietnam. His swift boats were under attack by rockets from shore. He ordered the boats to charge the ambush site. Kerry went ashore, pursued the Viet Cong officer who had a loaded rocket launcher, and killed him.
