    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

“Donald Trump couldn’t find Ukraine on a map if it had a “U” and picture of an actual “crane” on it.” Fair and funny insult, right?

Wilson said he was mocking the FLOTUS’ #BeBest campaign, but was in very poor taste.

    There were ships? Where?

Corona is all a big hoax
And Iraq/Afghanistan were great victories for the USA

  4. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Senator Richard Burr is a financial genius! He unloaded about $1 million in stock before the market crash! But it was after he received internal briefings on the coronavirus pandemic.

Aren’t there rules about taking advantage of non-public information in stock trading.

So not everyone is losing their butts in the market!

    • formwiz says:

Well, first, the market hasn’t crashed. It keeps trying to get back up.

A crash is when it goes down and stays down, like those 8 years of Zippy.

Aren’t there rules about taking advantage of non-public information in stock trading.

Maybe you can go run and tell Schiff For Brains and Fatty Nadless. Get them right on it.

So not everyone is losing their butts in the market!

Why do you think some people are selling short? A lot of people are probably doing quite well.

Clearly the markets are something else of which you know nothing.

    • formwiz says:

The only Conservative site I find talking about thise is Gateway.

Can’t wait to see your take on this.

  5. JGlanton says:

That’s the isle of Santorini. Somewhat blissfully isolated from the nearby Greek islands where African migrants are trained by Soros-funded NGO’s in the art of crying and claiming refugee status so they can invade the EU to do their part in economic and rape jihad.

    • formwiz says:

Did you know the Santorini eruption that destroyed the Minoan civilization is also believed by some to be the cause for the Plagues of Egypt, the Pillar of Fiew, and the Parting of the Red Sea in Exodus?

Maybe God is waiting for Dr Evil to visit his children.

On Jan 24, who tweeted: “China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”

In March 6-8 he held a party weekend at Mar-a-Lago resulting in several cases of Covid-19.

That same person now is promoting the “Hate China, not me!” project, to direct criticism away from his administration for their failures.

    • Kye says:

Really!? Well, after the first big drop on Jan. 25 I moved all my Stock Mutual Fund accts into cash to temporarily park them. They remain there and will until the markets return to their 1/23/20 position. They’re not earning shit but they aren’t losing either. This was basically all my savings from my working years , over $2 million. I also have Level 2 trading accounts worth half a million through which I short term trade. Each day both accts are all cash regardless if I’ve won, lost or broke even. I trade those accts when the market goes down or up, makes no difference for short term trading.

BTW, Trump isn’t promoting a “Hate China, not me” project, he’s showing how the corrupt pro-Red China Media is trying to switch blame from Wuhan where it belongs to Trump who has acted admirably in the face of this crisis. I know you can’t say that but you know it’s true. Everybody makes mistakes but all in all Trump has done his best to protect the people of America.

I only wish you partisan commie anti American pigs would help instead of hinder the effort to save lives. But we all know to you leftists power is more important than people. You prove that daily in abortion clinics across America. You are all cold killers.

Trump 2020 The man, the myth and he’s Orange!

    • formwiz says:

We were still negotiating then amnd the full extent of Red Chinese duplicity wasn’t known.

In March 6-8 he held a party weekend at Mar-a-Lago resulting in several cases of Covid-19.

Care to prove that, expert epidemiologist that you are?

That same person now is promoting the “Hate China, not me!” project, to direct criticism away from his administration for their failures.

What failures? We’re rated the best nation in containing this mess.

Another of your “We’ll get him this time” schemes ending up in failure.

  7. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Four US Senators have been shown to have sold millions in stock following private briefings on the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic. All the while, the US gov’t was publicly telling hoi polloi that is was “under control”.

Senators Feinstein, Burr, Loeffler and Inhofe. So far.

    • FunnyThat says:

To further elaborate on what Elwood said:

This followed another report by NPR, which alleged Burr warned “a small group of well-connected constituents” at a luncheon in late February about the potential impact of the virus, according to a secret recording of the conversation that NPR obtained.

“There’s one thing that I can tell you about this: It is much more aggressive in its transmission than anything that we have seen in recent history,” Burr says in the recording. “It is probably more akin to the 1918 pandemic.”

Then Burr proceeded to sell off about 1. 6 million in stock before the markets crashed. I guess he is another one OUT TO GET TRUMP.

I hear formwiz thinks I’m Elwood. No. I am not. I voted for Trump and am now happy he has finally decided to be a wartime president instead of a petty bickering twitter madhatter. He will come out the other end of this with a popularity in the high 60’s. Especially when all those people start getting checks from the government. When they get unemployment. paid sick leave.

The days ago Shurmur and Pelosi both were AGAINST the checks because ORANGE MAN BAD WAS FOR THEM. They have since relented when the Bernie Bros were praising Trump and when Bernie was praising him and could not believe the establishment who only wants power… their words….as opposed to helping the everyday man.

Trump has even said they make the legislation. If they want to put in the bill, not stock buybacks or executive bonuses with the money he would still sign the bill. The progressive left even were tweeting Trump gets it, he is being presidential. Now they have a meme among the left called GETSHURMUR GETPELOSI. They have now become the progressive lefts enemy. Yang and Illan Omar have even praised Trump. They mayor of NYC is still in his I HATE TRUMP MODE while the governor is praising trump and they have become friends again, which they were until Trump ran as a republican.

It’s bad for America. And unfortunately the left is being crushed on both sides because IF THEY HELP TRUMP….THEY LOSE and IF THEY DONT HELP….THEY LOSE.

one has to remember trump is a POPULUS PRESIDENT and politics are a tool he has used to savage the left rather than bolster the right. Hell he was a democrat all his life.

      ORANGE MAN GOOD!!!!!!

    • formwiz says:

Burr is saying he filed all the proper documents, etc., so we’ll see.

DiFi is the big fish, however, given her tenure in CA politics. and, of course, a Demo.

Burr and Loeffler are considered Whigs, so they’ll get little sympathy from Trumplicans.

We’ll see how this shakes out.

With the Demos firing blanks at Trump, you can bet they’ll try to nail as many R Congressmen as possible. As the fact DiFi is in the list, they may end up wishing they hadn’t.

  8. formwiz says:

Looks like the whole social distancing thing isn’t going over very well.

As I said, I give this thing a week. 2 at the outside.

    • david7134 says:

Using antimalarials and getting a 100% cure rate just put every other treatment and precaution down the tube. Didn’t think any of the solutions was adequate, or correct. Now a treatment so lets end the stupidity. The Dems likely don’t realize they just let Trump give all voters a bonus before the election. I really don’t see a reason to hold the next election as Trump and the Repubs are going to sweep the field.

      • formwiz says:

There’s a manes test (the way Social Security should be), you have to make < 100G.

It may turn out Burr and Loffler are off the hook. If so, Di Fi is the big fish.

I wonder how many people are getting fed up with Newsom, considering he’s done more to create this mess than anyone since Inslee.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          formwiz typed: There’s a manes test …

Is a manes test based on hair length, luster, color?? Or are you referring to spirit?

And you have the gall to correct others.

          • formwiz says:

Because you are so very wrong so very often.

And that doesn’t include all your lies.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

So you didn’t type “manes” test?

And you have the gall to correct others’ spelling, schoolmarm.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Money was tight. Ms. Mossbarger, 33, a disabled Army veteran, does not work. Her husband’s job as a carpenter has slowed in recent days and gotten more unpredictable as people cancel or delay residential construction jobs. She had plenty of worries — paying the $1,000 rent was at the top of the list — but lunch for her children was not one of them.

The power of the coronavirus to produce upheaval in people’s lives depends in part on income. Americans with fewer financial resources have fewer options as they navigate the new normal of school closings, shuttered businesses and shelter-in-place orders.

Poverty experts said that in times of natural disasters and large-scale emergencies, low-income families who are already living on tight budgets with overdue bills, unstable housing, poor health care and unsteady employment often bear the brunt of the pain.

“They tend to be the first hit when things go wrong and then also to take the longest time to recover,” said H. Luke Shaefer, a professor of social work and public policy at the University of Michigan and the faculty director of its Poverty Solutions initiative.

In the richest nation in the history of rich nations…

        • formwiz says:

So let’s put everybody on welfare. That way everybody is poor.

          Except the Party apparatchiks.

          Poverty experts???

What do we expect from MSLSD?

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The shame is gawdawful income/wealth inequality. We need a system that better rewards America’s working classes so that they don’t need free school breakfasts and lunches.

          • david7134 says:

There is no such thing as a wealth gap. The way you close the inequality that bothers you is to have people work hard, innovate when they can and have the government stay out of there lives, jobs, income and all other aspects of our being. Regulations harm people, taxes harm people, and etc.

Sure some regulation is necessary, that is throwing you a bone as you will come back with one of your stupid, illogical statements.

  9. Elwood P. Dowd says:

The Dow was climbing today. Hooray!

Then The Don starting berating the press rather than discussing the pandemic and the Dow started another decline.

    The Don Talks, Investors Listen!

    • david7134 says:

That is a very stupid statement. Why do you take the time to make a stupid comment of that nature. Trump will definitely be re-elected in Nov. So start crying, be sure to put it on you tube, I never get tired of watching idiot liberals cry.

Oh, how do you like the terrible response of liberal socialized health care in this crisis. Every country with government control is failing, just as expected. Our own country is struggling secondary to Obama trying to kill our system. But thanks to Trump we are doing well. MAGA, KAG, WINNING.

    • David D says:

Yes the dow was climbing and then the press had to ask trump a question that question his very integrity.

      A softball question.

Jeff does it bother you that your a child molestor?

Its not true, but this is what the press does all the time to Trump. They push his buttons and piss him off and he takes the bait, because its 100,000 to 1. No one else on the right defends him so he has to battle all the little fires himself.

Trump will lose if he continues this bullshit petty bikering with the press in the middle of a fuking pandemic. It was hilarious when things were going great. It was politics. Now its not. Its the press frantic that Trump will be reelected if he keeps doing all the right things so they just got to pound him.

Those communist sons of beaches all of which probably take kick backs from china. They don’t care about America. They care about making sure China succeeds so they get their monthly China Stipend.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Alexander asked “What do you say to Americans who are scared.” A real softball.

Trump blew a gasket. Called it a “nasty question” from a “terrible” reporter.

Trump gets smaller every time he opens his mouth. We get it. He’s an insecure little boy inside an old man’s frame. He has no experience being challenged, even gently.

You accuse the press of taking kickbacks from China and of not caring about America.

        Just another unsupported conspiracy.

    • formwiz says:

If you believe the markets dropped because Trump had a fight with the press, you’re an even bigger idiot than even I think.

How’s ’bout Don Cuomo shutting down NY state for as much as 4 months? Think that might have done it?

But you don’t believe it, it’s just more propaganda. And you’re not happy when it’s climbing.

You’re only happy when it’s falling.

  10. formwiz says:

The shame is gawdawful income/wealth inequality.

So everybody is uniformly poor? Like Russia was? Like any Commie state is?

We need a system that better rewards America’s working classes so that they don’t need free school breakfasts and lunches.

They don’t. It’s a subsidy for the farmers.

  11. formwiz says:

For the record on the stock deals, Loeffler had given up discretion over her investment accounts. Stock transactions were done by independent advisers without her knowledge or consent. Johnson made a long planned and disclosed sale of his family business a month after the briefing. Burr filed a financial disclosure form for personal transactions 2/13, 2 weeks after the briefing.

This is a nothingburger Fake News wants to make into something because they can’t get at Trump.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Loeffler denies that she did anything wrong? That’s unusual.

So it’s a coinkidink that her “independent” advisers decided to sell just before the market flushed?

      • formwiz says:

Unless you can find an order from her telling them to sell, it’s just that.

Those orders are executed all the time for those of us who have retirement, annuity, 401k, or other accounts.

As always, when you have nothing to say, you always say it.

  12. formwiz says:

The Lefties are really batting zero these days.

See where Gropin’ Joe finished an online speech and had to be led off by the little woman?

Good luck with your nominee this fall.
