WATCH–Jerry Nadler: Climate Change Will Reduce Life to ‘Bacteria’
House Judiciary Committee Chairman and Democrat New York Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) claimed Friday that the impact of climate change will reduce the planet to “bacteria and maybe a few plants.â€
Nadler’s remarks were made as he spoke in Washington, D.C., at one of several global climate strike protests.“People think, well, the sea leavels are rising, it’ll cost us $100 billion to relocate, two million people will die in Bangladesh in India because that’s bad enough,†Nadler said. “It’s much, much worse.â€
“I have a thirteen year-old grandaughter and when I look at her, I get terrified,†Nadler continued. “I don’t know if human life will survive fifty years. We may face, the climate scientists tell us, that we may face the sixth mass extiniction in the history of the globe.â€
Nadler then shifted his focus to the acidification of the oceans, which he says will “destroy the entire food chain.â€
“If the oceans acidify, which they’re beginning to do, they will destroy the entire food chain and essentially all that will be left will be bacteria and maybe some plants.â€

I’m not sure who’s nuttier, Nadler or the kiddies marching for Government to take away their freedom, choice, mobility, and money, as well as turning the clock way back on their lives to hundreds of years ago.

So what we’re witnessing today is the bizarre phenomenon of tens of thousands of schoolchildren protesting over an issue which they do not remotely comprehend. And then being applauded for it by adults who – astonishingly – are even more stupid than the kids.

Nadler is wrong on a couple of points.
One, we’re in the “Sixth Extinction” now.
Two, life on Earth will not be reduced to bacteria by global warming. There will always be pockets of life in regions least affected.
IOW Conservatives will survive because they won’t buy this idiocy.
The natural world doesn’t have political biases.
That said, humans are much, much more adaptable to their surroundings than are other species. We can even shape our environment to certain extent with heating and cooling! Humans are remarkably mobile and can even broadly see into the future, although we often ignore the obvious. If threatened by climate changes we can migrate hundreds or thousands of miles in short order. Humans are omnivorous and can live on all meat or all vegetable diets!

Agreed, that is simply incorrect. On the other hand, there are adults who don’t believe an increase in atmospheric CO2 can cause warming. A commenter here repeatedly claims that “heavy” CO2 falls out of the atmosphere, settling as a layer close to Earth!

Now those people are smart because they looked up the actual science. And I never said it “settling as a layer close to Earth”. I said it was part of photosynthesis, that means it’s consumed.
Duh.
You have said it’s a heavy gas and sinks. And yet atmospheric CO2 is continually increasing, so the net flux results from either more being generated or less being consumed or both. So all that’s being generated is not being consumed. And of course much of the CO2 is absorbed by the oceans, hence the reduced pH.
Or do you think the CO2 measurements are part of “the hoax”.
They’ve cooked the books on everything else, why not this?

We have asked you multiple times where CO2 is collected and measured. You have no idea. You have no idea of the level of carbonic acid in the ocean. You have no idea of other substances that could cause acidification in the ocean. Your precious CO2 does nothing.
Russia, Russia, Russia isn’t working anymore so Nadler needs a new topic. Bacteria has more intelligence than Nadler and it would be an improvement of the rest of the Democrat Party.

I have been following the writings and presentations of Dr. Tim Ball. He has very good presentations on the Climate hoax. He has even beat your semi God Dr. Mann in court. I am sure you have complaints against the guy, but your opinion is becoming much less relevant.
