Politico Advises Democrats To Ixnay On The Crazytay

Gee, ya think?

From the article

Democrats’ verbal targeting of everything from plastic straws to cheeseburgers is stoking fears among anti-Trump forces that they’re unwittingly playing into Republican culture wars.

Conservative recrimination over the threatened wholesale takeover of society came swiftly after CNN’s marathon climate change forum with Democratic presidential hopefuls this week. Republicans gleefully painted the field as a bunch of out-of-touch elites: In one video, the Republic National Committee shared brief clips from the candidates, including Joe Biden, appearing to advocate a shutdown of coal-burning plants and taking gas-burning vehicles off the road “as rapidly as we can.”

The message: There are no moderates running for the nomination.

That’s the video I posted the other day. Anyhow, after highlighting the silliness of many of the contenders, we get

Even before the town halls, Trump’s reelection campaign and outside allies were weaponizing various daily inconveniences into arguments against making small sacrifices environmentalists believe are needed to help save the planet. The president’s campaign this summer unveiled laser-engraved plastic “TRUMP” straws ($15 for a 10-pack). Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale complained about the ineffectiveness of recyclable paper straws.

It is these seemingly little things that capture people’s attention, and make it very easy to understand what Democrats really want to do. And are doing. And the actual words of Democrats will be politically weaponized. Again, this is exactly why the DNC did not want a Hotcoldwetdry debate.

Is there anything that they thought through well?

If the Democrats actually thought things through, they’d be Republicans.

The socialist left is in such a tizzy because a GENUINE BUSINESSMAN is president instead of some pussy-azzed politician who never created a job in his life they are pulling their hair out wishing for a recession to blame on trump. They won’t get one. The man is too strong. The rotten hateful, cruel (to use Fredo’s adjectives) leftists like Bill Maher want to see Americans financially ruined just for power. They are America haters and thieves. Every one of them. And they don’t just hate Trump, they hate YOU!

Trump 2020 Keep the economy strong.

The former Democrats now DemComs have been batshit crazy for three years. Unless one considers howling at the sky, dressing up as a vagina, wearing “pussy” hats, carrying bloody Trump heads, causing Antifa riots, shooting Congressmen and calling gun confiscation a “buy-back” sane. I don’t, perhaps Fredo and his friends in Havana do.

But here’s a prim example of how the “media” reports in the Trump era. Truth has NOTHING to do with the story, only hurting Trump. (From Frontpagemag.com)

“Here’s how the media covered the story of the Obama administration allowing the import of black rhino trophies from Nambia in 2015

U.S. Will Allow Hunters to Bring Home Rhino Trophies

Here’s how it covered the story of the Trump administration doing the same thing now

Trophy hunter who paid $400G to kill rhino allowed to import remains by Trump admin

When the Obama administration did something the media opposed, it was the U.S. doing it. Now it’s some sort of implied Trump conspiracy with the headline collapsing two separate events, the $400K paid to Nambia with the permission of the US government.

The average media skimmer is meant to assume that this guy paid $400K to Trump. And that will generate some perfect clickbait.

For decades federal regulators issued no import permits for black rhinos, but as populations rebounded in Africa the Obama administration issued three starting in 2013. The Trump administration has issued another two.

So there’s nothing new here. It’s an existing policy.

But the AP didn’t think there was a story here without some Trump bashing.

Here are some more rhino headlines from the Obama era

Hunter Allowed to Import Rhino Trophy into U.S. for First Time

Rhino Hunt Permit Auction Sets Off Conservation Debate

Black rhino hunting permit auction stirs controversy

Notice, no mention of Obama in the headline. No clickbait headline. The media can write neutral headlines. As long as its own ox or rhino are being gored. The moment there’s the opportunity to go after one of their political enemies, we’re off to the clickbait races.”

I am amazed at the Dems. They fall over themselves with ideas to restrict our freedom, inconvenience law abiding citizens for no benefit, increase taxes, destroy our economy and take personal wealth. They have some mythical race problem that gets more bizarre daily and serves to actually worsen race relation and they promote segregation. It does concern me for the coming civil war.

As the the rhino. My favorite story is that the liberals shut down elephant hunters, especially the white hunters that were managing the herds. This promoted more problems than ever as the hunters were keeping the bad folks away.

This makes as much sense as the proposed gun “buybacks”. If you pass a law banning plastic straws, as opposed to persuading dining establishments to hand out straws only when requested, that’s not “making small sacrifices”. You can’t make sacrifices if the choice is taken out of your hands.

Small sacrifices? Is having to sell my F-150, with a range of 655 miles with a full fuel tank, to get stuck with a tiny electric with a short range — the Tesla Model 3 standard range is 220 miles — a small sacrifice or inconvenience?

We are planning a trip to Kure Beach on Monday. That’s 576 miles. If I were limited to 220 miles before running out of sparktricity, I would have to recharge the battery twice along the trip.

In a charging station, you get to charge a maximum of 120 kW per car and this will take around 20 minutes to charge to 50% and one hour and a half to take the charge to 100%.

In other words, a trip which Siri tells me should take 9 hours and 29 minutes, would now take three more hours, just to twice charge the batteries. Even if I had to stop for gasoline once on the way in my F-150, that would take maybe ten minutes.
