Let’s Repeat: No Collusion, Con Conspiracy, No Obstruction

The Democrats and all their media partners are yammering about Robert Mueller’s speech yesterday, finding things that are not there, because they desperately want to hurt President Trump. Some are very serious about pushing impeachment, others are just yammering to make people think Trump is a Bad Man. Regardless, the whole point of the charade was Russian interference in our election and whether Trump and/or his people colluded. We all know Russia attempted to interfere. No one says whether they were successful. And

Robert Mueller buries key conclusion amid ‘omissions and innuendo’

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s exhaustive report on Russian election interference marginalizes its most important finding: There was no Trump-Moscow conspiracy.

“The Mueller report continued a pattern evident in the Mueller indictments,” said Jack Langer, spokesman for Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican. “Pack the documents with vague insinuations of collusion while downplaying the actual findings that there was no collusion.”

A Washington Times analysis of a redacted version of the Mueller report shows that, among its scores of bolded headlines in the table of contents, none refers to the special counsel’s paramount conclusion. Also, in the 200-page section devoted to Russia-Trump there is no “conclusion” section.

The first words that address Mr. Mueller’s No. 1 assignment — to determine whether there was a Trump-Russia election interference conspiracy — appear in the report’s introduction on page 2, buried as the final third of a 63-word sentence.

It reads: “Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”

That’s it. The words of Mueller and his team, which was heavily dominated by people who donated to Democrats. If they couldn’t find anything, that means it isn’t there.

The next reference comes on page 9, as the final sentence of a paragraph describing decisions on what was and wasn’t a crime: “Further, the evidence was not sufficient to charge that any member of the Trump Campaign conspired with representatives of the Russian government to interfere in the 2016 election.”

As far as obstruction goes, for all Mueller’s words, both in the report and in his speech, you either have the evidence or not. What Mueller was saying was that, because of long standing policy and law, even if they found evidence, they couldn’t charge, because that is a political thing

In our legal system, if you do not have the evidence, regardless of any policies, then the person is innocent. Period. Stop wasting time and money on this stupidity.

  1. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mr. Mueller stated that there was insufficient evidence to support a Russian-trump conspiracy.

Mr. Mueller stated that trump obstructed justice.

Mr. Mueller stated he couldn’t indict a sitting president.

Mr. Mueller put the House under the gun to impeach – that that is the only Constitutional remedy for a criminal president is impeachment.

Mr. Mueller stated that AG Barr lied for trump.

trump will be indicted the moment he is no longer president, unless he cuts a deal.

trump may roll the dice. If he loses the election, he will have from Nov to Jan 2020 to cut a deal.

    • formwiz says:

If there’s insufficient evidence, that’s exoneration.

      Let Mule Ears prove it.

So far, Fatty Nadless and Schiff For Brains have yet to come up with anything impeachable.

Mule Ears is one to talk about liars.

trump will be indicted the moment he is no longer president, unless he cuts a deal.

trump may roll the dice. If he loses the election, he will have from Nov to Jan 2020 to cut a deal.

Since there’s no evidence, how do they indict him?

No, he’d have till Jan ’21, so addition is another one of those things you know nothing about.

And where has all this uncertainty come from? You were soooo sure

      • Zachriel says:

formwiz: If there’s insufficient evidence, that’s exoneration.

        Trump 2020: Not indicted!

Insufficient evidence for a criminal charge is not the same as no evidence, especially when there is evidence of obstruction.

formwiz: Since there’s no evidence, how do they indict him?

There is substantial evidence of obstruction.

This, from the same character who assured us that “tRump will not be president at the end of 2019. Believe me. Mark my word.” https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Perhaps Mr Dowd will further define for us what he means by “the moment he is no longer president”. Does that mean the afternoon of January 20, 2025? Or should we consider anytime within the following month as the “moment”? I’d like to save that prediction of his as well.

  2. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mr. Mueller said: “the Constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing.”

trump: “I had nothing to do with Russia helping me to get elected.”

At least he admits that Russia helped him get elected.

    • formwiz says:

No, he says you and the rest of the Left are a pack of liars.

      • Zachriel says:

formwiz: No, he says you and the rest of the Left are a pack of liars.

Both of Elwood P. Dowd’s quotes are accurate. You might assume that the Trump quote was a slip of {Freud’s} thumb.

  3. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mr. Mueller: “If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.”

    • Kye says:

Mr. Mueller: “If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.”

He did say so by neither indicting him for one or saying as far as they can prove he did not. But you guys go right on in the Stalinist way of finding the crime to fit the man.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Mr. Mueller clearly stated, more than once, that he COULD NOT indict a sitting president. AG Barr lied about that to the American people.

Mr. Mueller believes in the rule of law which says it’s up to Congress to oust a President. Do you think a sitting president should be indicted instead? Should trump have been indicted alongside Cohen for the hush money paid to Stormy Daniels? As that really what you want?

Like most crooks, trump never looks more than 1 day ahead, but he knows he’s in trouble if he loses in Nov 2020.

The truthful, methodical, Republican, traditional, old-fashioned, honest, patriotic, reticent, lawman, Mr. Mueller, is no match for the reality show, TV savvy, dishonest, shameless, trump. No contest – trump got ahead of the narrative when he trotted out AG Barr to lie directly to the American people. It’s a PR battle, not a legal one. trump was on TV this AM smearing Mr. Mueller as upset because trump swindled him out of some money when he joined a trump Golf Club 15 yrs ago.

Speaker Pelosi should tamp down the impeachment talk – McConnell has already announced he’ll quash it in the Senate by procedure and by vote – and let the American people decide if they want a Democratic Republic or a Fascist state.

At every opportunity honest Americans need to push back against the trump et al machine that lies that he’s been exonerated. He has not.

        • formwiz says:

Mule Ears clearly stated that he didn’t have the evidence to turn over to Justice or Congress that would stick.

He and his little band of Gestapo agents didn’t have the authority to indict anybody. Barr told the truth.

If Mule Ears believed in the rule of law, he’d have shut the thing down the second he knew there was no there there.

Do you think a sitting president should be indicted instead? Should trump have been indicted alongside Cohen for the hush money paid to Stormy Daniels? As that really what you want?

If he broke the law, yes. Clearly, Mule Ears didn’t have any evidence.

Like most crooks, trump never looks more than 1 day ahead, but he knows he’s in trouble if he loses in Nov 2020.

If? I thought you were sure he’d lose. Wow, there’s a 180. Of course, I’ve been saying that all along.

Mule Ears is a bungling scalphunter out for anybody he thinks he can convict. He’s the clown who convicted the wrong guy in Atlanta and cost the taxpayers millions in restitution.

Speaker Pelosi should tamp down the impeachment talk – McConnell has already announced he’ll quash it in the Senate by procedure and by vote – and let the American people decide if they want a Democratic Republic or a Fascist state.

Gee, that sounds like all that talk about he hasn’t been exonerated is a lot of hot air.

          Which, of course, it is.

And the American people don’t want a Democratic Republic. They want what Mr Franklin gave them.

A Federal Republic. A Democratic Republic is what the bunny suit wants.

          • Zachriel says:

formwiz: Mule Ears clearly stated that he didn’t have the evidence to turn over to Justice or Congress that would stick.

Actually, Mueller provided the Justice Department thousands of pages of evidence, including a report detailing obstruction of justice by the president.

        • Dana says:

Mr Mueller decided to speak yesterday, in which he said that the written report was his report, and he added almost nothing new. One thing that he did do was state, “If we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said that.”

This is something that no responsible prosecutor would ever say, and is actually prohibited under American Bar Association rules: no prosecutor may make statements which prejudice public opinion about a subject under investigation whom he had not chosen to indict. “As a series of cases makes clear, there is ordinarily ‘no legitimate governmental interest served’ by the government’s public allegation of wrongdoing by an uncharged party, and this is true ‘regardless of what criminal charges may . . . b[e] contemplated by the Assistant United States Attorney against the [third-party] for the future,’” states DOJ’s formal policy manual on the duties of federal prosecutors and principles of federal prosecutions.

Rule 3.8(f) of the American Bar Association’s rules of professional conduct states that:

The prosecutor in a criminal case shall, except for statements that are necessary to inform the public of the nature and extent of the prosecutor’s action and that serve a legitimate law enforcement purpose, refrain from making extrajudicial comments that have a substantial likelihood of heightening public condemnation of the accused and exercise reasonable care to prevent investigators, law enforcement personnel, employees or other persons assisting or associated with the prosecutor in a criminal case from making an extrajudicial statement that the prosecutor would be prohibited from making under Rule 3.6 or this Rule.

Mr Mueller, who spent $35 million, with the assistance of 19 Democrat-supporting assistant attorneys, 500 witnesses and 2,800 subpoenas, still could not find sufficient evidence to indict or make a reference to the House for impeachment, yet he violated both Department of Justice rules and American Bar Association ethical standards.

    • formwiz says:

      IOW, no evidence.

  4. Kye says:

With any luck the Democrat Socialist Communist Party will try for impeachment and tie up their entire campaign season screaming like little girls while Trump campaigns and wins hopefully bringing many Congressional seats with him. Then they can continue the impeachment proceedings until they’re shut down by lack of Congressional votes. By then it will be too late and the Republicans will win the 2024 also. They have made themselves a laughing stock of triggered feminists and pajama boys with no policy or vision for the future other than gun confiscation and de facto Venezuela. Oh, and FREE stuff.

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

      Kye,

The Republico-Nazi-Fascist Party has decided to double-down on Fascism with their leader, trump.

They will have to live and to die with the consequences.

And what is the Republico-Nazi-Fascist Party platform? Ban abortion, tax cuts for the rich, cut environmental and safety regs for corporations, make it impossible for non-RNFP members to take office, and finally, turn the position of US president into the King of America.

How does any of this help the mass of men leading lives of quiet desperation?

      No thanks.

      • formwiz says:

Foaming at the mouth, isn’t he?

Mommy should really ban DU and Kos on his browser.

      • Kye says:

I assume by that ridiculous and pathetic reply and its attempt to try and frame the Constitutional Republican Party as some sham Nazi outfit full of fascists is all you got. If the party was fascist you would have been shot two years ago so be thankful Good Patriots are in control which is more than we can say about the clown car of commies, socialists, Mohammadans and yes fascists that call the New Democratic Socialist Party home. what a bunch of heathens, liars and criminals.

Our platform is to secure the borders of the United States and therefore protect the sovereignty of it’s people. To reduce taxes FOR ALL TAXPAYERS not those who pay no taxes. Review the estimated 60,000 environmental and safety regulations which are making AMERICA UNABLE TO COMPETE in a world market and discard the bad ones and the redundancy. Secure Americans with their right to Free Speech, equal justice under law even if they aren’t Elites and their Freedom to Bear Arms. To make abortion the important decision that it really is and not a political football for the left and to try and stop the Democrats from the 60 year Holocaust against the poor black babies they have murdered by policy. And finally to make sure elections are fair and not fraudulent and when the election is over the losing side moves on like they have for 200 years of peaceful transition (excepting of course when the Democrat slave holders fought a war and murdered a President because they lost an election).

And they’re still subjugating blacks to inhuman conditions in the cities they run while murdering their babies at a rate of 250,000 a year, trying to overthrow the government when they lose and I suspect want Trump and his entire family dead.

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          Kye,

Ya see what I did there? You called the Democratic Party the Democrat-Socialist-Communist Party and I called the Republican Party the Republico-Nazi-Fascist Party.

Did it bother you to be called a Nazi and a Fascist?

          • formwiz says:

I’m sure he’s used to being called names by unruly, ill-mannered children.

Especially ones who don’t have any fathoming of what they’re saying.

          • Kye says:

You’ve called me stupid, ignorant, a hater, a racist, a white nationalist, a white supremacist, a misogynist, a homophobe, an Islamophobe, a woman and child killer, unpatriotic and and a fascist before so why would it matter now what you call me?

Now, I didn’t call YOU anything but you just couldn’t stop and think for one minute WHY did I call the Democrat Party those names and maybe think if they earned it. After all, I did give just A FEW reasons why. I called the Democrats exactly what they have become from my view but rather than consider my view you attacked. That’s what is wrong with the left today. You can’t talk without attacking. I tried to show you how the Party appears from the outside but you refuse to see. I even mentioned the anti-American forces working within the Party to harm us but rather than say to yourself “Kye may have a point” you thought it was your duty to attack and call me names personally. Like that in any way would change the makeup of the Party one iota. I’ve watched as you’ve moved so far left in the last few years JFK looks like a John Bircher now. But you either can’t or won’t see it and there fore to YOU I come off as a Nazi and fascist because I don’t believe in gun confiscation, limiting free speech, abortion at any time on demand paid for by others and open borders. That’s the SAME conservative stances I had ten year ago. Remember, when all you wanted was equal rights for gays? You just will not admit how radical you’ve become.

You have allowed your politics to fill that hole in your heart that used to be a soul filled with God so now it’s your religion. That’s why you hate Trump more than you love America and that’s why you accuse a man who has had a Jewish and Korean wife of being a White Supremacist. You can no longer differentiate truth from propaganda.

That and the fact that nothing in America is without politics. Even sports is now politics. Which people will be suspended from Facebook or Twitter for having the “wrong” views is politics. Sitting down to eat somewhere is politics. It’s ridiculous.

  5. Professor Hale says:

Just as I predicted. Trump supporters and mindless Trump haters can both look at the same report and see something totally different. I suspect that is mostly because of each side not actually reading it and instead depending on others to tell them what is in it. I have read it. There are no accusations in it that claim Trump broke any laws. None. So there is nothing to indict him over. So there is no “level of proof” that needs to be met or exceeded. This is not a closely held secret. The report has been on the internet for weeks. But whatever. Impeachment was never about Trump committing crimes. It was always about punishing him and his friends and family because he beat Hillary. It was her turn. As such, it’s only about getting a majority of votes in the house before sending it to the Senate where it dies on arrival. The entire process now is just a political calculation about house democrats wondering if they personally benefit or are harmed by pushing that noodle. It is all about shaping the 2020 elections and using the national media to get free unrestricted anti-Trump campaign commercials for 4 straight years. It should be no surprise to anyone at this point that neither side is interested in what the other side has to say since there is no middle ground between people who support Trump and people who want to kill him, kill his friends, and kill his family and literally kill the people who support him. If you don’t think it is that serious, you aren’t paying attention. When was the last time a Democrat went to a public place and was shouted at until they left?

  6. Kye says:

It really is THAT serious, Professor. The Democrats have finally] dropped the veil of propriety and are basically admitting what everyone else has known since George McGovern ran for President: they are in reality Democratic Socialists. Now that they have admitted to being the philosophy they were in 1972 the current reality is they are the Democrat Communist Party. They have past and active communists in their party and in office like Deblasio and John Brennan. They currently support anti-Constitutional policies like open borders, firearm confiscation, and are currently passing laws to somehow alter biological science to make males females. They also have brought other enemies of America into Congress like Omar who also defrauded the US by gaining admittance while married to her brother. They are infusing their party with socialists, communists and Mohammadans all of which are the antithesis of American greatness.

They have become truly evil, support the murder of babies, support sexual perversion, support aliens and criminals voting, created a flood of third world people to gain electoral advantage and are determined to make America a atheistic third world banana republic run by Elites.

  7. Jl says:

“Obstruction of justice…” What justice was obstructed? If it’s true members of Congress have copies of the report, then the libs would be broadcasting specifically what the obstruction was….but yet they’re not.

  8. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Representative Justin Amash (R-MI) claims that few Representatives have even read the report, which contains ten instances (described in detail) of trump obstructing justice. A Tea Party conservative/libertarian, who cofounded the conservative Freedom Caucus, Amash thinks trump has committed crimes. The media have run from the report, preferring the brief comments from Barr and trump.

If trump were not president he would be indicted.

If trump were not president he would be indicted.

That was Mr. Mueller’s message that AG Barr lied about.

    • formwiz says:

If Trump murdered RBG on national TV in the Oval Office, you honestly think the law would not be brought to bear?

Impeachment may remove someone from office, but this “he can’t be indicted” bull is just that.

    • Jl says:

“He claims few have read the report…”. This is so important, ladies and gentlemen, that we just haven’t gotten around to reading it…..The ten “instances” are still shrouded in secrecy, so we can’t tell you what they are…but they are there!

      • Professor Hale says:

No they aren’t. There is nothing secret about it. You can read it yourself. The ten “instances” are things Mueller investigated with regard to obstruction. NOT ten instances of obstruction. Mueller’s report goes into great detail tying together all the accusations and testimony from the multiple sources for each of those “instances”. But no conclusion because no conclusion could be made. In each “instance” there was no evidence. Just read the report already. It’s only 450 pages.

  9. Elwood P. Dowd says:

Let’s repeat: trump is the leader of a Cult of Personality.

  10. formwiz says:

    Even Mule Ears says so.
