Patrick Moore was not a co-founder of Greenpeace, but was an early member. He is now a lobbyist.
Greenpeace issued a statement distancing itself from Moore, saying he “exploits long gone ties with Greenpeace to sell himself as a speaker and pro-corporate spokesperson, usually taking positions that Greenpeace opposes,” and he is “a paid spokesman for the nuclear industry, the logging industry, and genetic engineering industry” and is an outspoken proponent of nuclear energy and skeptical of human activity as the main cause for global warming.

In an interview, Moore infamously claimed one could drink a “whole quart” of glyphosate (RoundUp) without harm. Humorously, the interviewer had arranged to have a glass of glyphosate, but Moore refused to drink any of it, and abruptly ended the interview. Hilarious!
