Muslim Cleric Explains What Islam Means In Light Of Paris Terror Attack

Perhaps some of the Islamic extremist apologists should take note of what Anjem Choudary writes in the USA Today

People know the consequences: Opposing view
Why did France allow the tabloid to provoke Muslims?

Contrary to popular misconception, Islam does not mean peace but rather means submission to the commands of Allah alone. Therefore, Muslims do not believe in the concept of freedom of expression, as their speech and actions are determined by divine revelation and not based on people’s desires.

Although Muslims may not agree about the idea of freedom of expression, even non-Muslims who espouse it say it comes with responsibilities. In an increasingly unstable and insecure world, the potential consequences of insulting the Messenger Muhammad are known to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Muslims consider the honor of the Prophet Muhammad to be dearer to them than that of their parents or even themselves. To defend it is considered to be an obligation upon them. The strict punishment if found guilty of this crime under sharia (Islamic law) is capital punishment implementable by an Islamic State. This is because the Messenger Muhammad said, “Whoever insults a Prophet kill him.”

Yes, most Muslims do not go on rampages when insulted. Most never get involved in terrorism, honor killings, suicide bombings, and similar actions. I’d say most just want to be left alone. That said, what Choudary writes is what is being taught in so many mosques, madrasas (Islamic schools), on-line, and, it appears in the Koran! Most of the issues in the past with Christianity are in the past, like centuries and millennium in the past, and were often done in contradiction to the words of the Bible. The Koran, as Choudary points out, specifically tells Muslims to kill whoever insults Mohammed.

Remember, these are not my words, these are the words of Islamist clerics, just like Choudary.

Perhaps it is high time that Liberals, and especially those in the Western media, understand just what it is that the Islamist view of Islam means. Instead of running toothless editorials about Charlie Hebdo standing solidly for free expression, and that western media should all do the same, Western media should actually do this. They should expose what the so-called extremist viewpoint means, rather than dancing around the issues and offering apologies. Enough with the “hey, it’s just a small minority of the 1.6 billion Muslims”. They should not, though, ask Muslims to apologize for what the extremists are doing in the name of Allah and Mohammed (though the media should acknowledge that they are, in fact, doing it in the name of Allah and Mohammed – I’m looking at you today, Ezra Klein). Even though leftist media outlets do ask Conservatives, Republicans, Christians, Tea Party members, etc, to apologize when one incident happens. What the media should do is ask Muslims to stand up against the extremists, much like during the Civil Rights era, when white people were told to step up against the entrenched racism, Jim Crow, and segregation against Blacks.

This all starts with understanding what, exactly, the Islamists stand for, what they mean, that they mean what they say, and what they want to do. Liberals need to acknowledge the reality, rather than their own kneejerk reactions, their yammerings about tolerance and multiculturalism.

Few people misunderstand the intentions of the Muslim extremists, terrorists and murderers. There is no alternative but to isolate and eliminate them. None.

But to broaden the responsibility for terrorism to an entire religion is counterproductive.

From what religious text does this come?

he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him.

  2. Deserttrek says:

yes quoting the Bible to smear others and protect the pedophile, murderous mohammedans. like the president of Egypt Sisi recently said, islam must change and join the modern world. just because one person doesn’t like something doesn’t mean they can commit violence. sadly the leftist here are too wrapped up in their hate for Christians and Jews to see the hate that is the foundations of islam

Teach do christianist pastors ever say objectionable things ?
How many americans kill and then say their God told them to kill?
Or defend the killing of doctors who perform abortions by saying those doctors had blood on their hands?
when was the last time muslims invaded and occupied a christian country?
who has killed more christians in the last 30 years? muslims or fellow christians?

  4. john says:

wtf ? I can’t remember you apologizing for having your GOP whip speak before a white supremacist group
Since when do you appologixe for having a firebomb put outside the CO headquaters of the NAACP? Or having Ferguson marchers greeted by white racists with watermellon fried chicken and confederate flags? or having confederate flags posted here on your site

  5. Hank_M says:

“I can’t remember you apologizing for having your GOP whip speak before a white supremacist group”

Good point. The whip should have joined the white supremacist group and become a leader
the way Democrat Senator Robert Byrd did with the KKK.

  6. Teach do christianist pastors ever say objectionable things ?

    Yes, such as

-“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes three-strike laws and wants them to sing God Bless America. No! No No! God damn America … for killing innocent people. God damn America for threatening citizens as less than humans. God damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and supreme.”

-The question is not whether we will be extremist but what kind of extremist will we be.”

-“They will not only attack you if you try to point out what’s happening in white America. U.S. of KKK A.”

-America is still the No. 1 killer in the world

Obama sat in Jeremiah Wright’s pews for 20 years listening to the filth.

The fact is, John, no matter how much you want to deny it (or defend it, deflect it), Choudary is expressing the Islamist viewpoint. This, again, as I wrote, does not necessarily represent so many other Muslims around the world, who put aside the violence within the Koran, much like most Christians have put aside the early violence in the Old Testament in favor of the teachings of The Christ in the New Testament.

What Choudary is saying is what is being taught to new generations of Muslims, unfortunately. They do not care about your multiculturalism and diversity pushes, they would gladly saw your head off. However, they do appreciate the Leftist ability to defend/ignore/deflect from the barbarity of radical Islam.

    1. CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations:

We strongly condemn this brutal and cowardly attack and reiterate our repudiation of any such assault on freedom of speech, even speech that mocks faiths and religious figures. The proper response to such attacks on the freedoms we hold dear is not to vilify any faith, but instead to marginalize extremists of all backgrounds who seek to stifle freedom and to create or widen societal divisions.

We offer sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed or injured in this attack. We also call for the swift apprehension of the perpetrators, who should be punished to the full extent of the law.
    2. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA Spokesperson Qasim:

When we study Islam, we see clearly that the Quran condemns this kind of violence categorically. That Prophet Muhammad said that a Muslim is one from whom all others are safe…. This is not about religion. This is about political power, this is about uneducated, ignorant youth who are being manipulated by clerics and extremists. And this is why it’s all the more important for us, as the moderates, regardless of faith, to stay united and combat this.
    3. Muslim Council of Britain:

The Muslim Council of Britain condemns this attack. Whomever the attackers are, and whatever the cause may be, nothing justifies the taking of life…. Dr Shuja Shafi, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain said: “Nothing justifies the taking of life. Those who have killed in the name of our religion today claim to be avenging the insults made against Prophet Muhammad, upon whom be peace. But nothing is more immoral, offensive and insulting against our beloved Prophet than such a callous act of murder. Our thoughts, prayers and solidarity go to the families of the victims and the people of France.”
    4. French Muslim Council (CFCM): “This extremely grave barbaric action is also an attack against democracy and the freedom of the press.” It also called on “all those committed to the values of the Republic and democracy to avoid provocations that only serve to throw oil on the fire,” and on French Muslims to “exercise the utmost vigilance against possible manipulations from extremist groups.”

    5. Union of Islamic Organizations of France (UOIF): “The UOIF condemns in the strongest terms possible these criminal attacks and horrible deaths. The UOIF offers its condolences to the families and all employees of Charlie Hebdo.”

Teach either you are blind or ignorant if you think that this was not condemned by muslims

  8. john says:

Teach it was the LIBERALS who stood up for civil rights all those people you despise like liberal Jews who vote 70% Dem

  9. jl says:

John, put down your bong. Now. Ever wonder why Muslims will fill the streets in anger over cartoons of the “prophet”, but never stage a public protest over their radical counterparts? You can have all your lists of Muslims allegedly condemning the attacks, but why so few, if any, publically? But more important, does the supposed condemning of their do anything to stop theses things from happening? No.

  10. jl says:

I saw a good one from Dana Loesch: “Omnipotent Gods don’t fear cartoons or free speech.” In other words, these nutcases must think their “prophet” is a big pussy.

    desserttrek typed:

yes quoting the Bible to smear others and protect the pedophile, murderous mohammedans.

Bullshit. I said track them down and eliminate them. Conservatives pull quotes out of the Koran to smear others and ignore equally violent quotes in their own Bible.

sadly the leftist here are too wrapped up in their hate for Christians and Jews to see the hate that is the foundations of islam

Bullshit. The foundations of Islam are no more violent than Christianity or Judaism. Clearly, there is a murderous fundamentalist faction of Muslims that needs to be eliminated.

No one is excusing murderous rampages. We should just be certain to blame those who are responsible.

ha ha ha ha islam is evil .. mohammedans are committing terrorist acts and are supported by other mohammedans

islam meams submission ….thousands of deaths by mohammedans in the last 10 years

as the president of Egypt recently said, islam must reform …

  14. Jeffery says:

ha ha ha ha islam is evil

All religions are evil, it’s just that right now there’s a faction of Islam that promotes totalitarianism and is more evil than the others.

Their goal is anarchy and a religious war.

  15. gitarcarver says:

    All religions are evil,

Well, if you want to say that your religious cult of AGW is evil, many people will agree.

    But I am still curious……

Does your wife – the one you think is delusional – know that now you think she is evil as well?

  16. All religions are evil

The basis of Christianity is love. Unfortunately, not all practice this. Mankind has faults, is an imperfect creature. Most religions teach tolerance, love, respect. Islam, as written in the Koran, teaches violence and adherence to the words of Mohammed. By force if necessary. And against other Muslims if they refuse to submit.

  17. Jeffery says:

The basis of Christianity is love.

Is hating, belittling and insulting 23% (1.6 billion) humans based on their religious beliefs a valid expression of Christian love?

Or is Christian love only for other Christians? Do non-Christians go to Christian Heaven when they die or do they burn in Christian Hell for eternity?
