Globull Warming Project Will Be Like “Arab Spring”

Well, it already kinda is: a movement that seems legit, and it turns out that in a lot of cases there are extremists behind the scenes

(CBC) As part of the effort to mobilize the public to tackle climate change, several U.S. environmental groups plan to launch a large initiative in 2013 based around engaging young people through social media and crowdsourcing ideas on green technologies, renewable energy and others means of mitigating the factors contributing to climate change.

The aim, says Hayes, is to create “a huge public consensus-building exercise that hopefully will have some political consequences.”

“In a sense, it’s a climatic Arab Spring,” said Hayes. “Climate has been mostly a television issue. It’s something where people preach at other people or, in the case of Al Gore’s movie, they provide a film, and you go and you watch it. But it’s not a computer kind of issue where you are involved and engaged in doing something yourself.

“What we’re trying to do is make that transition, so it’s not just passive receptacles of information, but people who engage in it, challenge things and become committed to acting on the basis of their growing understanding of what’s really going on.”

Hayes also wants to get back to calling CO2 a “poison”. Because that’s worked so well to date. This is just another in a long line of spreading awareness campaigns which accomplish nothing but make people feel good about themselves, while enriching the Warmist big wigs.

But, I have a great idea to mobilize the public: all Warmists should practice what they preach. Then, maybe people would believe that anthropogenic global warming is real.

Sure wish the tea party types would take these hints from the left and get more organized. I never saw or appreciated the wisdom in denying leadership roles for the leaders of the tea party. Or, as I call them, the bill payer party. Since they form the core of those who pay the property and other taxes that keep the cops, schools, jails, ambulances, fire fighters, garbage collectors, water and electric paid and functioning. Well, they should get moving right quick cause if they don’t, their world of PTA meetings, 9 to 5 jobs, lawn care chores and soccer, lacrosse, football, baseball and tennis games is gonna get real ugly, real quick. No more tea with honey for you folks. Git mobilizing, it’s easy with twitter.
