Sorta Blogless Sunday Pinup – Happy Independence Day!

Patriotic Pinup

Happy Independence Day Sunday! Hot dogs, cowgirls, the open plains, freedom….ah, it’s pure American. This pinup is by, of course, Bill Layne, with a wee bit of help. Interestingly, for at least the 3rd straight year, I was going to use a different pinup, something old school, until I realize “hey! She’s got no drawers on!”

Anyhow, what is going on in Ye Olde Blogosphere? The Fine 15

  1. Blogmocracy works the Declaration
  2. A Blog For All features one of my favorite classical songs, which has become uniquely American
  3. The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler features what Independence Day means
  4. Kate (Blatherings Blog) writes Ob Being American
  5. Flopping Aces has the Sunday (Independence) Funnies. And a cool blog header graphic for the day!
  6. House of Eratosthenes has the National Anthem
  7. SondraK has some perspective on the occasion
  8. Liberty Pundits features an inspiring July 4th speech by JFK
  9. Michelle Malkin features and incredible photo, plus others
  10. Nice Deb has pictures from the KC “Proud To Be An American” TEA Party
  11. DRJ (Patterico’s Pontifications) on some folks painting the largest American Flag ever
  12. At Stop The ACLU, JonJayRay writes about America being for the little guy
  13. My good liberal online friend, The Gun Toting Liberal, and John Hawkins (Right Wing News) debate “what is patriotism and whose got it?”
  14. Support Your Local Gunfighter goes old school with School House Rock and the shot heard round the world
  15. And last, but not least, Villainous Company has Fourth Of July essays
  16. And one to grow on: I love this graphic the Troglopundit has

As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page. While we are on pinups, since it is that time of year, have you gotten your “Pinups for Vets” calendar yet? And don’t forget to check out

Anyone else have a link or hotty fest going on? Let me know so I can add you to the list.
