Week Gets Worse For Dems

To add on to what I posted Thursday

WASHINGTON (AP) – The Senate rejected legislation today that would have ordered most U.S. troops home from Iraq in nine months, culminating a losing week for Democrats who failed to push through any anti-war proposal.

The vote, 47-47, fell 13 votes short of the 60 needed to pass. "We’re going to continue to lose lives and squander resources while they (the Iraqis) dawdle," said Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., who sponsored the bill.

While the article was over at the right leaning Washington Times, notice that it is an Associated Press story. How much did it hurt them-and what editor was either drunk or asleep when it was submitted-to print "culminating a losing week for Democrats"?

Poor little surrendercrats! They’ll have to keep on saying “We support the troops but not their commander in chief nor their commander General Betray US!…
We support the spaghetti but not the meatballs!… We support lasagne but not the meat sauce! … We support retreat and withdrawl but not admitting who won! … We support sex in the doggie style position so we can both watch CNN and MSNBC!” Poll this fact Ryan: 98 out of 100 neocons say “HIPPIES SMELL!”

Its funny to me how they all say the same things. I’ve heard the same argument come out of every commentator on television since the ad hit the news.

‘Do the people want the Senate spending hours debating an ad while there are American’s dying in Iraq’. They say it over and over and over.

I wonder if they send these talking points out in memo form? Or maybe they get them through microwave transmissions from the mother ship?

  3. Oh, they send them out. I used to get stuff like that from MorOn.org and other sites, got on their lists by accident.
