Happy Independence Day-Patriotic Pinup

Happy Indepence Day to all! Not a clue who did this pinup. Have hunted around, but, to no avail. It was supposedly used in a NAPA ad. Anyhow, it is another beautiful day in America, and one of those special days, like Christmas and Thanksgiving, where the libs really get their seethe on above their norm. I’ll have more to say on the subject of Independence Day tomorrow but this is too good to put off. Rick Moran is liveblogging the creation and announcement of the Declaration of Independence. DO NOT miss his posts here and here, and don’t forget to c…

    Hey William,

I must say I love this pinup definitely all American! Rarely do I have time to respond to Blogs, but today I’m on vacation today celebrating our freedom.

As you know, not far from Bath, where Edward Teach’s head was hung from a pike, is Belhaven in Beaufort County. Belhaven is celebrating its 65th July 4th Independence celebration. The July 4th celebration is one of our country’s oldest.

I must say I’m moved by your spirited blog, especially the Ronald Regan quote in the upper right. Your blog caught my eye last week while searching for links to add to our North Carolina web directory. It is good to see North Carolinians contributing to the web. Your blog is very well structured and has a central theme. I look forward to visiting your site again and wish you much success.

Lady Liberty’s daughter never looked so free and lovely Blackbeard. She’s one real firecracking yankee doodle dandee sir! Happy 231st Birthday America and God continue to bless our marines, soldiers, sailors, airmen and coastguardsmen that make it possible for US to celebrate our freedoms that many take for granted… JOHN 15:13!

  4. Thanks, Rob, I appreciate the kind words. I have added your site to my feed reader for some good NC news. Happy 4th!
