I’m sure that, somehow, global warming caused by Man is the cause
The return of a La Nina weather pattern this year will likely mean drought in southern and southwestern U.S. states, government forecasters said on Thursday, adding it was too early to tell if La Nina would also lead to more Atlantic hurricanes in 2006
La Nina is an unusual cooling of Pacific Ocean surface temperatures, which can trigger widespread changes in weather around the world. Forecasters with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said La Nina could wreak havoc on U.S. weather through late spring, and possibly into the summer
Why unusual? Seems that Mother Nature does her thing, and, sometimes things are cooler, and sometimes warmer. Is there any data that says what the normal point is? We do not have data going back hundreds of years on this, much less even farther back to when Man emerged.
Oh, and let’s not forget this:
NOAA also said that, while La Nina can mean increased hurricane activity in the Atlantic Ocean, it was too soon to say what impact it will have this year.
Last year was the busiest Atlantic hurricane season on record, with 26 named storms and 13 hurricanes. Four major hurricanes made landfall in the United States, including Rita and Katrina, which pounded the U.S. Gulf Coast in August and September with heavy rains and wind.
NOAA previously warned that the hurricane season — which typically peaks between August 1 and late October — could be active again in 2006.
So, maybe all the hurricanes last year didn’t have anything to do with President W pulling the US out of Kyoto (snicker), but, woops, Mother Nature. I’m shocked, I tell you, shocked.
Just a refresher, friend. Congress voted against joing Kyoto BEFORE W became President….so he didn’t pull us out of anything!
Yup, was being sarcastic on that. Now, if only the Liberals and the Europeans would realize that. But, they think that Al Gore symbolically signing it makes it official. LOL.
Yeah, but didn’t Gore use an electronic signature over HIS Internet? Then it doesn’t count.
Does to the Europeans and our moonbats 🙂
They forget that the Senate voted 95-0 against Kyoto. Gotta be some dems in that vote!
