Happy Sunday! Another fantastic day in Returned America. The Sun is shining, the Devils have made it 2-1 in the Playoffs, and a squirrel keeps doing parkour off my glass door to jump up to the top of the deck fence. Not sure why, when squirrels can climb wood. Playing? Done it 5 times since I got up at 7am. This pinup is by Vaughan Bass, with a wee bit of help.
What is happening in Ye Olde Blogosphere? The Fine 15
As always, the full set of pinups can be seen in the Patriotic Pinup category, or over at my Gallery page (nope, that’s gone, the newest Apache killed access, and the program hasn’t been upgraded since 2014, so, most are hosted internally). Um, she wants to giving criminals trials, trials where the victims usually get justice?
A lefty Wisconsin jurist is threatening not to hold court following Friday’s arrest of Milwaukee judge for allegedly helping a Mexican illegal migrant evade federal immigration officers.
Monica Isham, a circuit judge Sawyer County, defended Judge Hannah Dugan Saturday, claiming in an email to other state judges that she “has no intention of allowing anyone to be taken out of my courtroom by [Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents] and sent to a concentration camp,” Wisconsin Right Now first reported.
Isham, who in 2023 became the first Native American elected to the county’s circuit court, also threatened to “start raising bail money” for defendants.
“Yesterday, Judge Hannah Dugan of Milwaukee County stood on her Oath in the very building she swore to uphold it and she was arrested and charged with felonies for it,” Isham wrote.
Whelp, that’s a lie. Because she’s being charged with, at a minimum, obstruction of justice, as she stood in the way of federal law enforcement agents engaged in a lawful detention of an illegal alien who had beaten a man and a women
“Enough is enough. I no longer feel protected or respected as a Judge in this administration. If there is no guidance for us and no support for us, I will refuse to hold court in Branch 2 in Sawyer County. I will not put myself or my staff who may feel compelled to help me or my community in [harm’s] way.”
Harm? Are any of them illegals? Otherwise, the only one being harmed are the victims of crimes.
/11 Judge Dugan has been charged with two federal felony offenses. Obstruction and concealing a fugitive. Each carries 5 years max. She will be indicted by a Grand Jury. Prosecutors should use the process to interview all witnesses, and consider charging a conspiracy. pic.twitter.com/F75RuU35zU
— Dan Lennington (@DanLennington) April 25, 2025
It could well end up that Dugan is charged with more federal statutes, and the FBI may well come for the court employees who assisted her in allowing a charged criminal, and an illegal alien who had already been deported once. And here’s Isham saying she won’t do her job, all to protect illegal aliens? Really? Is this really what you want to do, Democrats?

I wonder why?
Climate Change, Once a Big Issue, Fades From Canada’s Election
The melting Arctic icecap. Record-smashing wildfires across several provinces. A country that, on average, is warming at twice the rate of the rest of the world.
No matter where it is, it is melting twice the rate of the rest of the world. Because this is a cult
And yet, as Canadians go to the polls Monday, climate change isn’t even among the top 10 issues for voters, according to recent polling.
“That’s just not what this election is about,” said Jessica Green, a political scientist at the University of Toronto who focuses on climate issues.
What the election is about, nearly everyone agrees, is choosing a leader who can stand up to Donald J. Trump. The American president has been threatening Canada with a trade war, if not total annexation as the “51st state.”Leading in the polls is the Liberals’ Mark Carney, who has a decades-long pedigree in climate policy. For five years, he was United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance, and he spearheaded a coalition of banks that promised to stop adding carbon dioxide to the environment through their lending and investments by 2050.
Despite that résumé, Mr. Carney has not made climate central to his campaign. When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepped down, one of Mr. Carney’s first moves was to scrap one of his predecessor’s least popular policies, a tax on fuel that included gasoline at the pump and was based on emissions intensity.
They can talk about it as much as they want, it doesn’t make a difference: most people do not care all the much in reality. In theory, maybe, but, not in the Real World. It’s never a real world top 10, unless there are only 10 issues in the poll.
Canada is one of the world’s highest emitters of greenhouse gases per capita and is off-track to meet its pledges to reduce its emissions under the 2015 Paris Agreement. It has targeted cuts of at least 40 to 45 percent from 2005 levels by 2030, but the latest national emissions inventory report shows a drop of just 8.5 percent through 2023.
Yeah, so, despite all the climavirtue signalling from the Canadian elites, politicians, and citizens, no one is really doing their cult part to make their own carbon footprints zero.

Is she being serious? Has she met Democrats?
Senate Democrat: Party needs to lose ‘weak and woke’ reputation
Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) wants Democrats across the country to focus on ways to “retake the flag” from President Trump and Republican majorities in the House and Senate and told one media outlet she thinks they should start by shedding public perception of the party as “weak and woke.”
“I don’t understand how to rally us into a coherent approach if we aren’t on the same page on where we’re going,” she told Politico this week before delivering a “war plan” speech to a gathering of Democratic volunteers in her home state on Thursday.
Slotkin, whose campaign team didn’t immediately respond to The Hill’s requests for comment, posted photos on the social platform X after her event at the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing, Mich., and wrote that she wanted to use the speech “to lay out my strategy for how Democrats should be meeting this moment in our country’s history.”
“After this 100 days of the Trump Administration, we owe the nation a plan: reclaiming our patriotism, a real economic plan for the Middle Class, and a fight for our democracy that recognizes the stakes,” she wrote.
Seriously, her whole schtick is still based on Orange Man Bad, on Trump Derangement Syndrome, just like the rest of the Democrats. How do you reclaim patriotism when the majority of your voters hate America? When your economics are based on the government running everything and you patronize the rich, the super poor, and illegal aliens? That their version of Democracy is more akin to Mussolini and Saddam Hussein than what is written in the US Constitution?
Democrats mounted a party-wide effort to curb Trump’s influence after he won the 2016 election, but the party hasn’t come together similarly this time and has struggled to rein in mounting tension between more traditional Democrats and a growing progressive upsurge.
Yeah, well, they’re hardcore on the side protecting illegal alien gang members to the point that abortion is barely mentioned by Democrats. They’re still hardcore on protecting the gender confused over actual women. They don’t talk about it much, but, their other policies of being weak on crime and controlling citizens via the climate scam play heavy. There is no way Democrats give up weak and woke. They may hide it a bit, but, you can see it everywhere. We’ve watched the moonbattery since Bush43 took office. It won’t stop. There are no JFK type Democrats left. There are not even any Bill Clinton type Democrats left. Now you have Alexandria O’Casio Cortez being pushed as their frontrunner for the 2028 presidential race.

Sadly, there’s no breakdown by party affiliation, but, you know this has to be driven by liberal women, especially white ones
More women view climate change as their number one political issue
A new report from the Environmental Voter Project (EVP), shared first with The 19th, finds that far more women than men are listing climate and environmental issues as their top priority in voting.
The nonpartisan nonprofit, which focuses on tailoring get out the vote efforts to low-propensity voters who they’ve identified as likely to list climate and environmental issues as a top priority, found that women far outpace men on the issue. Overall 62 percent of these so-called climate voters are women, compared to 37 percent of men. The gender gap is largest among young people, Black and Indigenous voters.
Nonpartisan my ass, not when their whole schtick is ‘climate change’.
The nonprofit identifies these voters through a predictive model built based on surveys it conducts among registered voters. It defines a climate voter as someone with at least an 85 percent likelihood of listing climate change or the environment as their number one priority.
Those are two different things. I’d certain choose the environment as an important issue, though, not number one. But, I wonder, how many respondents does it reduce down to? They toplines are not included at the link. They started with 10,500, but, as #1, did that cut it to 500?
Based on polling from the AP-NORC exit poll, 7 percent of people self-reported that climate change was their number one priority in the 2024 general election, Stinnett said. Of those who listed climate as their top priority, they voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris by a 10 to 1 margin.
So, we know they are primarily Democrats. Let’s jump to the “survey”
25pt gender gap among climate voters. 62% of climate voters are women, compared to only 37% being men. This 25pt gender gap is significantly larger than the 5pt gender gap (52%-47%) among all registered voters.
Young women are twice as likely as young men to list climate as their top priority. Among the various age groups, the climate voter gender gap is most dramatic among the youngest voters (aged 18-24). As a point of comparison, among all registered voters 18-24 year-olds are equally split among women and men (50.4%-49.6%), but among 18-24 year-old climate
So, the climate cult has driven the liberal women much, much wackier than the liberal men. Yet, how many are practicing what they preach?

It’s gone from barking moonbat to category 5 unhinged online and in the Credentialed Media news rooms
Report: FBI Arrests Judge Who Helped Illegal Migrant Dodge Deportation
The FBI has arrested a left-wing Wisconsin judge for allegedly helping an illegal migrant escape arrest, according to a Wisconsin newspaper.
“Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week,” FBI director Kash Patel wrote in a quickly deleted tweet, says a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest,” Patel wrote.
You don’t just arrest judge for 8 U.S.C. § 1324, harboring/sheltering an illegal alien, a law established in 1952, for believing. They have the evidence. And it is how and who she protected
From the show more
..these crimes, victim is in court.
Judge finds out. She goes out into the hallway. Screams at the immigration officer. She’s furious. Visibly shaken. Upset. Sends them off to talk to the chief judge.
“She comes back into the courtroom. You’re not going to believe this. Takes the defendant and the defense attorney back in her chambers. Takes them out a private exit and tells them to leave. While the state prosecutor and victims of domestic violence are sitting in the courtroom.”
Democrat judges are prioritizing illegal alien criminals over victims of domestic violence. Think on that.
And think on this
Catholic Charities has helped drive illegal aliens to come to the US. They’ve coached them on how to do it, and taken a ton of taxpayer money to do this. They’ve been accused of human trafficking, and losing an unknown amount of unaccompanied minors. I wonder if the FBI will be looking into whether the judge has monetarily benefited from this.

This is one of the most interesting, realistic articles from the climate cult I’ve see, though it verges on TDS, because it is actually introspective
Could Trump Accidentally End Greenwashing?
Following the election of President Donald Trump, U.S. multinationals wasted little time in purging mentions of the climate from their websites. Breakthrough Energy, a joint venture between Bill Gates and a handful of other climate-conscious billionaires, recently laid off a significant portion of its staff. Some $4 billion in U.S. pledges for the U.N. Climate Fund has been rescinded. The response to all of this has been virtually unanimous: Trump is bad—very bad, in fact—for the climate. To be sure, the second Trump administration has already rolled back a number of significant environmental regulations, increased logging in national forests, ramped up oil and gas production, and made sweeping cuts to the EPA.
But love him or loathe him, Trump is not the only problem. He is a symptom of voter frustration and disillusionment. We must accept that for years, global multilateral climate policy has been marked more by talking the talk than walking the walk. Indeed, you could be forgiven for growing slightly cynical of the big pledges, glossy roadmaps, endless subsidy schemes, and constant climate conferences.
To paraphrase Glenn Reynolds, “I’ll believe it is a crisis when the people who tell me it’s a crisis act like it’s a crisis by changing their own lives to match their doomy beliefs.” I won’t delve more into the practice what you preach stuff, I’ve done it quite enough over the years.
Whatever Trump believes personally about the climate crisis, he could unintentionally be part of the solution to it, as a force of Schumpeterian “creative destruction”. His election may have sounded the death knell for performative, feel-good, socially acceptable climate policies and created an opportunity for pragmatic, climate-conscious people to design something much more effective at both the domestic and the global levels. Such an approach could entail less greenwashing and less bureaucracy and a much greater emphasis on results. It could entail more independent control of companies’ actual impact. For instance, we can appeal to companies’ self-interest to use new technologies that accurately measure emissions. The new approach to climate policy can, and should be: What here, in this market, with these tools, would deliver the fastest, biggest, cheapest gains?
Time Magazine’s Antoine Rostand was almost there, but, he missed the part where the Warmists need to change their own behaviors. Missed it by that much.
Truly smart regulation could include something like a methane speeding ticket slapped on those who are spewing the gas too freely into the atmosphere and have the financial means and moral obligation to eliminate externalities. If Trump blocks progress domestically, other major trading partners (like the EU, Korea, an Japan) could impose climate-friendly trade rules, like carbon border adjustments or import standards. That could nudge the U.S. market to comply indirectly, even under the current administration.
And Rostand is right back to government control. Sigh.
