Ya know, I was going to ignore the whole Vitter at the brothel issue, which really isn’t that big a deal, in the scheme of things. Except to his family. Yet, as I cruise the port side of the seetheosphere, I cannot help but laugh at the hypocrisy of the leftards.
I am not going to do the dumpster dive for this topic, though there have been some interesting comments at the DU, HuffPost, and others. I am just going to make a statement:
It’s just about sex. Basic sex. It’s not like he was sexually harassing anyone, lying to a federal grand jury, suborning testimony, or obstructing justice.
Just a thought.
Friday Update: in a related story, a McCain campaign co-chair was arrested in Florida for soliciting sex from an undercover police officer. Some of the liberals are going all sorts of wonky over this. You can catch some links over at Memeorandum. Funny how they have no issues with Slick when he was having sex and lying about it, nor much with Cold Cash Jefferson, yet, pitch a tizzy over a little sex when it is a Republican who is involved. Especially Pam at Pam’s House Blend. Interestingly, I am not finding much from her about former NC Speaker of the House Jim Black (D), who was just sentenced to over 5 years in the pokey on federal corruption charges. Funny thing is, she mentions an NC Gop member immediately being forced to quit the House when he had problems come up.
It just all goes to show, Republicans will force their asswipes out, while Democrats will ignore it when their folks do bad.
At least Vitter admitted his wrong doings and I feel for his wife and children. WE admit our failings and sin when the atheists, liberals, Demlibloonies and secularists DO NOT! “Forgive them Father for they know not what they do…”

I think it’s funny. Slick got a BJ a day in the white house, all paid for (both parties) by the taxpayers. That was fine and dandy with the Lefties. Actually I have a total different take on this. I wrote about it at ARS and I’ve gotten some interesting comments. LOL. From many sources, this was not about sex, at all. From what I’ve read even since writing that post, there was hardly (pardon the pun) any sex at all.
