If only they would spend as much time going wonky over illegal immigration as they have on this whole ports issue. Case in point, Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC, out of the Charlotte area)

Do you have the facts, Sue? Or just a knee jerk reaction from someone whose area has no water shipping ports? How many buildings in Charlotte are owned by, not run, but owned, by non US companies? In an area with massive amounts of illegal immigration. Where were you when Gov. Easley wanted to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses and in-state tuition at UNC campus’?
Do you understand that we aren’t selling our ports?
