Climate Cultists Threaten “Sustained Sabotage Campaign”

Activist group threatens to carry out ‘sustained sabotage’ campaign: ‘They have a choice’

Police in London are looking into claims that climate activists sabotaged the offices of several financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, Allianz, and Barclays.

The group Shut the System said it cut cables and glued electrical service cabinets in what it called the beginning of a “period of sustained sabotage” against companies financing fossil fuels, aka dirty energy sources such as oil and gas.

The Guardian reported that London police confirmed they’re aware of social media posts from the group, which included photos purportedly showing activists carrying out this sabotage. The group says it targeted JPMorgan for being the world’s largest fossil fuel investor, Barclays for being Europe’s largest, and Allianz for its role in insuring fossil fuel projects.

However, police said: “We have had no reports of any criminal activity at this time, but we’re speaking to those companies mentioned in the post and the wider business community.”

These actions highlight growing tensions around fossil fuel finance. Extracting and burning fossil fuels, such as coal and oil, is a primary contributor to rising global temperatures. It also pollutes the air and water, harming public health. Activists say financial institutions can make or break the clean energy transition. They argue that by continuing to fund oil, gas, and coal projects, they’re locking societies into more climate and social harm.

It’s no surprise that they’d resort to violence: the extreme enviroweenies have long done stuff like this, and as they became climate cultists they continued. From stupid crap like gluing themselves to roads and buildings and stuff to throwing soup on paintings to blocking roads and trains to spiking trees that could hurt loggers to defacing buildings and planes and so on. If they did do what the article says, it would be expected as they get more and more violent from their cult brainwashing. When you buy into the whole “the planet is doomed unless we Do Something” you get loopy. And violent.

According to The Guardian, Shut the System has threatened to escalate its campaign if financial institutions ignore its demands, which include ending fossil fuel financing, aligning goals and values with the 1.5 degrees Celsius climate target, and protecting Indigenous and human rights. Meanwhile, global pressure is mounting on the financial sector to phase out fossil fuel investments in favor of renewable energy, such as wind and solar power.

And, of course, their beliefs are all over the place.

Wacko Colombian President Takes Credit For Trump Gaza Peace Plan

Huh? Gustavo Petro Takes Credit for Trump’s Gaza Peace Deal

Far-left President of Colombia Gustavo Petro claimed on Thursday that “pressure” from Colombia and other countries led to a peace deal between Israel and Hamas brokered by President Donald Trump, detracting from Trump’s direct efforts in the situation.

Petro further claimed that it was the alleged “pressure from humanity” that caused Trump to “learn despite his arrogance” to “say no to Israel.”

The far-left president levied his wild assertions in remarks given on the sidelines of the Global Gateway Forum 2025, an event hosted by the European Union in Brussels. Petro represented the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) regional bloc as the current chair of the group’s rotating pro-tempore presidency.

“There is a war, there is genocide, and what must be stopped is the genocide. And we knew that many countries around the world, including Colombia, which was one of the first, understood that only pressure from humanity could stop this genocide,” Petro said.

“Only the large demonstrations we have just seen in Europe, the diplomatic pressure from Latin America, which never voted against a ceasefire, the pressure from Africa, which never voted against a ceasefire, plus the positions taken by Asia, would ensure that countries, more than half of the countries, including the United States, would be isolated in their support for Israel,” he continued.

Petro then claimed that he thinks President Trump “has learned, let’s say, despite his arrogance and the blows he has dealt, he has learned that it is global pressure that is leading him to say no to Israel and to impose, together with other mediators such as Qatar and Egypt, the need for a truce.”

This allows the wacko pro-Hamas nutjob moonbats to congratulate themselves for the peace plan

And they’re still protesting. Why?

Because they want Jews killed and Israel replaced with an Islamic caliphate, and the loony left doesn’t seem to realize that radical Islam wants control and is in direct competition with Progressives.

Greta Thunberg’s flotilla creates 165 tons of air pollution, same as 206 trips from Tel Aviv to UK

Greta Thunberg’s Sumud Flotilla produced a total of 165 tons of air pollution during its trip from Spain to Gaza, which the energy company Volta Solar calculated to be the same as 206 trips by plane from Tel Aviv to London.

“Over the course of 5 weeks of sailing, the almost 50 vessels in the flotilla consumed a total of about 53,600 liters of diesel,” the study from Volta Solar explained and added, “This fuel consumption is equivalent to direct emissions (tank-to-wheel, TTW) of about 144 thousand kg of CO? – that is, about 144 tons of carbon dioxide emitted from the engines alone.”

“It is not surprising that those who act hypocritically in the field of climate also chose the side of the forces of darkness and not the forces of light,” said Eran Tal, CEO of Volta Solar and a reserve officer who founded the first solar unit in the IDF.

The analysis also points out that the main polluters were those who made the trip using only large, motorized ships, while sailboats that used their engines to a limited extent had a lesser impact.

Volta Solar pointed out that the flotilla’s trip to Gaza was equivalent to 206 flights from Tel Aviv to London in terms of air pollution. It was also equal to the total amount of pollution that 82 family cars produce on average in a year.

These wackos care more about cosplaying as protectors of terrorists than as protectors of the climate. There’s always something that keeps Warmists from practicing what they preach.

Border Apprehensions Lowest Since Hendrix Was Still Alive

Illegal border crossings plunge under Trump in 2025, but numbers are rising

The last time illegal border crossings were this low, disco music and bell-bottoms were in fashion.

Illegal crossings in 2025 have plunged to the lowest level since 1970 amid an aggressive crackdown by the Trump administration, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

U.S. Border Patrol recorded roughly 238,000 migrant apprehensions in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, down from more than 1.5 million apprehensions in fiscal 2024.

Remember, a good chunk happened during September 2024-January 20, 2025, while Biden was still notionally president. Oh, and even though disco was around, it wasn’t till the mid-70s that it became fashionable. Hippy music. Black Sabbath. Beatles broke up. Elvis’ first tour since 1958. Workingman’s Dead.

Most encounters happened under the previous administration: 172,026 apprehensions — 72 percent of the total — occurred during the under the Biden Administration during the first 111 days of the fiscal year. Over the next 254 days, this administration recorded 65,539 apprehensions, accounting for just 27 percent of the year’s total.

And zero releases.

The dramatic drop in migration at the U.S.-Mexico border began during the final year of President Joe Biden’s term, after Mexico cracked down on migration through its territory, Biden suspended access to asylum at the border, and his administration implemented new “legal pathways” for migrants to present at a port of entry.

But of course the USA Today wants to give Biden credit.

But the decline in illegal crossings accelerated rapidly after Trump took office in January.

If you take away the incentives to come most stop coming.

“Word has gotten out about the climate of fear here in the United States,” Isacson said. “We’re all seeing the videos of mass deportations, and people are hearing what life is like in our detention system right now.”

There were more during August and September, but, as it gets cooler they will drop.

Climate change is delaying the arrival of spring in NYC parks, researchers find

As climate change drives warmer winters, environmental scientists have long expected to see spring arrive earlier. But Yale University researchers analyzing satellite imagery of New York City parks found the opposite: Spring is starting later.

“This is completely a flip, and also contrary to our expectations, because you would think that if it’s warmer, the leaf-out would be earlier,” said Karen Seto, the Frederick C. Hixon Professor of Geography and Urbanization Science at the Yale School of the Environment.

In the study, published July 30 in Environmental Research Letters, Seto and other researchers analyzed the start of the growing season at 379 parks across New York City, comparing trends between 2000 to 2009 and 2013 to 2022. Researchers focused on how the impacts of climate change and the urban heat island effect — how a city’s heat-absorbing buildings, roads and infrastructure increase its overall temperature — shape the temperature of green spaces.

When it comes to mitigating the effects of climate change, Yale researchers found that the size of the park matters. They analyzed parks ranging from large green spaces like Central Park and Prospect Park, to medium-sized ones like Bryant Park and Madison Square Park, to even smaller, playground-sized spaces.

In the smallest parks, temperatures inside and outside the green spaces are similar, said Juwon Kong, a postdoctoral associate and the study’s lead author. Big, sprawling parks, which are more protected against the urban heat island effect, are not only cooler internally, but can also cool the surrounding area, he said.

Analyzing detailed satellite imagery of the parks, researchers found that the delayed onset of spring was most significant in medium-sized parks. For those parks — ranging in size from one hectare (about 2.5 acres) to 18 hectares (about 45 acres) — the average start of spring was delayed by 2.62 to 4.43 days.

In smaller parks, of less than one hectare, researchers recorded an average delay of spring of 0.90 days. And in the biggest parks, of more than 18 hectares, researchers recorded that the average arrival of spring was delayed by about 1.41 days.

So, delayed minimally, but, still in complete contradiction of climate cult doctrine.

In the near term, though, the findings have implications for the management of green spaces in New York City, and perhaps other cities, she said. For instance, the findings might help inform tree-planting strategies that maximize cooling benefits.

The research, Seto said, “helps us think about ways in which we can better manage the green space in cities so that they can thrive in a hotter and hotter climate and be more resilient.”

Suddenly, Leftist Judge Want ICE’s “Warrentless” Arrests Restricted

Warrantless arrests by ICE in Chicago area ruled unlawful by federal judge

A U.S. District Judge has ruled Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents violated a previously agreed-upon consent decree over warrantless arrests in the Chicago area and unlawfully detained more than two dozen people in the first months of President Donald Trump’s second administration.

“Collateral arrests” or people arrested while ICE agents are patrolling the street, often without a previously signed warrant, have been a major tactic deployed during the local immigration enforcement crackdown branded “Operation Midway Blitz.”

Now, U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Cummings (Biden nominee, who worked with Obama back in 1995 on ACORN and their shady dealings) has imposed limits on when agents can make those kinds of arrests as part of an extended consent decree that will last until Feb. 2, 2026.

Cummings also imposed reporting requirements for ICE to share how many people are being arrested in the Chicago area without a warrant.

Yeah, well, at best, this will only apply to Cumming’s district, per Supreme Court decision.

The ABC7 I-Team has been following this case closely after attorneys with the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) and the ACLU of Illinois accused DHS and ICE in March of violating the 2022 Castañon Nava settlement after the warrantless arrest of 26 individuals during the first weeks of President Donald Trump’s second administration.

Those kinds of arrests have ramped up significantly in the last month, said NIJC attorney Mark Fleming.

They’re in the US illegally. That’s it. The law says they are to be detained and deported.

The NIJC says it will seek the release of hundreds of people they claim were unlawfully arrested, including men arrested during a raid in Elgin where Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was present, and a family detained in Millennium Park last month.

All those arrests are examples of what Cummings ruled is an ongoing pattern of ICE violating the terms of the consent decree.

“If they [ICE] made a warrantless arrest, they need to justify and document the specific information justifying that warrantless arrest,” Fleming said during a Wednesday news conference.

These people will do anything to protect illegal aliens. But, hey, once again, I recommend that Trump and Holman direct ICE to go after the illegals in Republican areas first, which will cause many to flee to sanctuary cities like Chicago, forcing those cities to spend a lot of money on the illegals, burdening their systems.

Palisades Arsonist Was Apparently Trump Deranged and A Climate Cultist

Alleged Palisades firebug posted anti-Trump screeds, blamed wildfires on climate change

The Florida man accused of sparking the flames that burned swaths of Los Angeles to the ground in the Palisades Fire posted on social media about how global warming causes wildfires.

Jonathan Rinderknecht, 29, regularly took to Facebook to share posts about eco-apocalypses, mocking President Trump and his supporters, and pushing people to become vegans.

One article he shared – “Climate Change Will Force a New American Migration,” from ProPublica – even included a thumbnail showing wildfires raging across a California hillside neighborhood.

That 2020 story opened by discussing blazing West Coast temperatures.

It’s eerily – and ironically – similar to the situation Rinderknecht is accused of creating himself on Jan. 1, when he allegedly hiked to the hills above Los Angeles and started a brushfire. Prosecutors allege that blaze was never fully extinguished and six days later it sprang back to life — burning nearly 24,000 acres, kill 12 people, and destroy over 7,000 homes and businesses with damages worth about $150 billion.

Everything looks like ‘climate change’ when you start the fire.

Other posts on the alleged firebug’s Facebook included photos of Trump supporters apparently crying after he lost the 2020 election, linking to a Harris-Biden fundraiser page, and more climate-alarmist headlines.

“Senator Kamala Harris Says Meat is Destroying the Planet,” read one article.

“Antarctica’s Ice Shelves Have Lost Millions of Metric Tons of Ice,” read another, from Scientific American.

“A Shift to Plant-Based Diets Would Create 19 Million Jobs in Latin American and the Caribbean,” a third from Forbes read.

Lot of Trump derangement and climate cult doomism. Probably driven wacko by the schools, the Credentialed Media, and other cultists.

He also threatened to burn down his sister’s house, so, he’s being held without bail.

Washington Post: Peace Could Happen In Middle East, And Trump Deserves Credit

It must have really caused some serious heartburn for the Washington Post editorial board to write this, but, at least they gave Trump credit, unlike this guy

That’s just sad, no mention of Trump

This Gaza peace plan may actually hold. The president’s unorthodox deal-making style deserves credit.

The announcement that Israel and Hamas have agreed to President Donald Trump’s plan to end the two-year war in Gaza could be the biggest diplomatic achievement of his second term. Indeed, if the deal holds, Trump can legitimately bolster his claim to be a peacemaker worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize. (snip, because you most likely know about the deal)

Details on the other phases of Trump’s peace plan will likely require days and weeks of tedious negotiations. The outstanding issues include the total disarming of Hamas and the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops to a “buffer zone” on the Gaza border. The United States, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey have signed on as guarantors of the pact. The Arab and Muslim countries were needed to convince Hamas that it had no choice but to sign.

Trump, meanwhile, pressured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to agree to end the fighting short of his stated goal of the total annihilation of Hamas. Credit Trump for pushing Netanyahu after Israel’s bombing of Hamas targets inside Qatar nearly derailed the sensitive negotiations. No other American president has managed the relationship with that difficult partner more intuitively.

It really does go to the fact that Trump has been in business most of his life, making deals and building things. Mostly successful, but, he also knows failure. He sees a problem and looks to bull ahead and solve it, not yammer, put together committees, hold hearings, elicit this that and the other. He wants it fixed.

What seems different this time is Trump’s personal involvement. He brought an unorthodox negotiating style and relied on a few trusted advisers, his gut instinct and an abiding belief in the power of personal relationships. That combination has brought other successes — like the Abraham Accords of his first term and the commitment of Europeans to spend more on their own defense.

If this peace deal opens the path to a broader Middle East peace — perhaps even extending the Abraham Accords to include Saudi Arabia — then Trump will have a generational accomplishment that eluded successive American presidents for decades. That is still a long way off, but the massive progress over the past day is worth celebrating.

You really can imagine the members of the WPEB doing a lot of tequila shots while writing this with a lot of Rolaids. I’d like to say what the LA Times has to say, but, the whole Israel-Gaza issue is completely missing from their web front page, at least as of Thursday night.

The United States is sending about 200 troops to Israel to help support and monitor the ceasefire deal in Gaza as part of a team that includes partner nations, nongovernmental organizations and private-sector players, U.S. officials said Thursday.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss details that were not authorized for release, said U.S. Central Command is going to establish a “civil-military coordination center” in Israel that will help facilitate the flow of humanitarian aid as well as logistical and security assistance into the territory wracked by two years of war.

Hamas best not start something.
