One of my father’s maids came running into the house last night in a kerfuffle screaming there was smoke coming out of the garage. Well wouldn’t you know low and behold his brand new extremely expensive Mercedes electric SUV had a battery fire. Nothing bad no flames or anything it was just laying there thinking about whether it’s going to burn down the house or not letting off smoke. The fireman push the car out into the street to get it away from the houses.
That was dad’s last straw the car goes ASAP. Now we can go get a real car. He hasn’t liked the car since the day he drove it home. He said everything smells like burnt rubber now. Probably how the cells smell when they burn and smolder. He already had it towed to the Mercedes dealer and called the insurance company. I can’t wait to hear what this fiasco is gonna cost. He’s supposed to have a New Year’s Eve shindig with his chums at the Country Club so I guess he’s gonna have to rough it and drive the Range Rover. I keep pushing in to get a Cullinan but he doesn’t wanna do that. He thinks they’re ostentatious. I guess a five car garage is not.
Anyway, I hope you guys have a happy new year I’m staying home with her couple of girlfriends and eat and drink my butt off. I almost never go out on New Year’s Eve.
