The claim that liberals only call for gun control when whites are killed is obviously ridiculous.
Assault weapons (AR-25 style semi-auto rifles designed to kill people) need to be limited since they are used for the society eroding mass shootings in schools, malls, restaurants, theaters, parks, concerts, parades, streets and workplaces. My 30-06 rifles and 12 g shotguns, while great for hunting, are not useful for mass shootings.
Handguns need to be limited since they are used in the majority of homicides, half of which have black victims. How do you avoid being killed by a handgun-wielding person? 1. Don’t hang out with people toting them, e.g., drug dealers, gang members etc. 2. Don’t have one unsecured in your home. One is more likely to harm family or friend than kill an intruder.
It’s a myth that more guns equal fewer crimes. If true the US would have the lowest homicide rate, not the highest by far of any developed nation! One can buy a semi-auto 9mm pistol for under $200. Some 9mm Glocks can hold up to a 33 shot magazine. 11,13, 17 shot easily swapped magazines are common. My Colt revolver holds 6.

The Diversity™ kill one another in the dozens or even hundreds all across the fruited plain in such utopiae as Chicago, Baltimore, Memphis, and Detroit, and no one seems to care much about that.
Rush Limbaugh (PBUH) pointed out 30 years ago that Democrats (again, read: fascists, communists, etc) are prepared to tolerate a certain level of violence against civilians that will enable them to make claims on their disarmament agenda. That was obviously true then and that threshold number is much, much higher now.
Thinking that you can confiscate property to prevent crime and that it will do any good is ludicrous; it’s doubly ludicrous when it’s obvious you pay no attention to the 13% that does 60%.

Only a few long guns are actually designed and built to kill HUMANS! Military small arms, some police and security small arms, some home security shotguns. Most long guns are designed to kill game.
You should read the history of the Armalite-15, progenitor of the M-16 and M-4, which was designed to kill humans.
The current crop of AR-15 style rifles are military style rifles but semi-auto instead of select fire.
