Can you provide me with particular statements that Cruz, Hawley, Trump, et. al., made that incited insurrection? Can you tell me how the protest at the Capitol was any more insurrection than the many attempts to breach the Portland federal building, the attempt to breach the White House in May, the storming of the Senate Office Building during the Kavanaugh hearings, or the many sit-ins by the smelly hippies during the ’60s?

Breaching and occupying the US Capitol Building, killing two officers attempting to defend elected officials is insurrection compared to the Portland building vandalism. No one occupied the Portland building and there was little damage. These insurrections were prowling the halls of the US Capitol Building screaming “Hang Mike Pence!?!” and “Where’s Nancy!?!”. It’s reasonable to assume the violent occupiers were not interested in a meaningful discussion of election law. This was an assault on US democracy.
We fully understand the right-wing attempt to trivialize their violent assault on democracy and attempting to blame Black Lives Matter and antifa. The charge of treason is serious.
Over 300 protesters were arrested during the Kavanaugh hearings, and rightly so. No federal officers were killed or injured. The Senators were never in danger and the proceedings were not halted.
America has meekly accepted anti-government/anti-law violence from the anti-gov movement, inaction that has only encouraged further violence. Proven thief and criminal Cloven Bundy, head of the Bundy crime family, was given a free pass in 2014 after stealing $1 million and having heavily armed thugs stand off with federal agents. Bundy wants to be left alone but continues to graze cattle on property that doesn’t belong to him.
America has had an anti-government movement simmering over the past few decades that has re-emerged as a dangerous threat to the nation and democracy.

I don’t hate the US. With previous Dems election fraud and on going hate by Dem leaders against Trump and all conservatives it is readily apparent that the country is no more. I don’t advocate destroying buildings but with the Dems sanction on the summer protest, it seems that is acceptable. But the Capitol building has no significance as a symbol of liberty thanks to Nancy and group.
As to firepower, why would I need that? You are implying that our current leaders would attack me? They desire to do that regardless, listen to them. No, I propose that the millions who agree with me secede. If it comes to conflict then conduct that in the manner the Irish did to get their freedom.
