At my house every week is Asian week. Today she’s making a huge vat of kim-chee with her friend Yumi (for sharin’) and tonight I’ll take them for a round-eyed dinner at The Kitchen Bar in Abington. Imagine me, a white supremacist out with two Asian chicks. I guess they will confiscate my membership card.

Aren’t there nearly a million Vietnamese refugees in the US?

      • There’s a ton here in the Raleigh area. Whether they are refugees, immigrants, or a combo I do not know. I love that they make our lives easier, usually have great credit, and pay cash.

Most military bases still have large Korean and Vietnamese communities nearby. The reasons are obvious. Very few German nationals near military bases. Most Germans are content to stay in Germany and convince their American spouses to stay with them. Second generation Germans look and act like 5th generation former Englishmen. Despite nearly 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Islamic communities outside of military bases are pretty much non-existent, other then contractors who do role playing for military training. There have been only a handful of “war brides” and similar relationships that resulted in immigration.

Do you think it proper for governments to entice citizens to violate their deeply held principles for the common social good???

    Seems like a dangerous precedent.

    • Kye says:

Enticing a citizen is fine. Forcing a citizen is tyranny. And not for “a common social good”, whatever that is.

I’ve often wondered why you care if my kid is vaccinated as long as yours is.

      • Professor Hale says:

As long as we cannot stop the millions of unvaccinated immigrants from the third world from entering the country, it really doesn’t matter how many natives in the population don’t vaccinate. The argument is that some people cannot vaccinate due to other medical conditions, and everyone else OWES it to them to be vaccinated so that the ones who can’t vaccinate will be protected. But, again… immigrants from places that have rampant measles pretty much makes that argument moot. Measles don’t spontaneously generate. They have to come from somewhere to infect a previously clean population. The third world doesn’t vaccinate because they value $5 in cash more than they value the health of their own kids. A significant number of Moslems don’t vaccinate because they believe the JOOS contaminated all the vaccines to poison the faithful Moslems.

        • Professor Hale says:

I have had the Measles. Then was vaccinated anyway multiples times. I find it to be one of the more benign vaccines. That said, it is only a matter of time until some leftist university professor claims that forced vaccination is “racist genocide”. (hint: See indians and smallpox blankets).
