Warmists Again Trot Out Dogma That Super Cold Weather Is Caused By ‘Climate Change’

Remember when the Cult of Climastrology used to say “weather is not climate”? That was when the weather refused to co-operate with their hysterical, over-wrought, apocalyptic doomsaying

FIRST ‘POLAR VORTEX’ OF 2019 TOUTED AS EVIDENCE OF GLOBAL WARMING. IT’S NOT

Large swaths of the U.S. are experiencing the first “polar vortex” event of 2019, and The New York Times is out with an article suggesting cold snaps are becoming more frequent because of global warming.

The Times rolled out an article Saturday claiming “[i]f it seems as if these polar freezes are happening more often, you’re right.” Temperatures dipped across the snow-covered Midwest and Northeast where millions of Americans can expect below-zero wind chill.

The Times’ “polar vortex” article, published Saturday, rests heavily on two scientists who “suspect that the more frequent polar vortex breakdowns can be tied to climate change.”

“I’ve been making that argument that winter is shortening, but you’re getting these more intensive periods in that shorter winter,” Judah Cohen, a climate scientist with the firm Atmospheric and Environmental Research, told the Times.

“When we lose a lot of ice in that particular area in the summer, it absorbs a lot of extra heat from the sun,” echoed Jennifer Francis, a climate scientist at the Woods Hole Research Center.

Even if this is true, it wouldn’t prove, again, that the current warm period is mostly/solely caused by Mankind, particularly our “carbon pollution” output.

Media outlets usually turn to Cohen and Francis during the winter months when brutal cold and snowfall can make it hard to convince people the earth is warming. Both scientists regularly argue human greenhouse gas emissions are driving more frequent, bone-chilling arctic blasts.

This is not a widely accepted theory. In fact, there’s lots of evidence to suggest it’s not correct, including a 2018 study that found “[c]old waves like this have decreased in intensity and frequency over the last century.”

“Such claims make no sense and are inconsistent with observations and the best science,” University of Washington climatologist Cliff Mass told The Daily Caller News Foundation in 2018 when news outlets reported record cold temperatures were a product of warming.

Yeah, but the CoC is not about science. Remember, after telling us that the Great Pause didn’t exist, they came up with over 70 excuses for why it was happening, before going back and attempting to change the temperature data to erase the pause, because the pause didn’t jibe with their computer models and cultish dogma and talking points.

But, don’t expect them to give up on the above talking point regarding polar vortex’s. Once something is manufactured the Cult won’t abandon it. Especially when it attempts to manufacture a rational for how warming causes super cold weather.

In the meantime sunspot cycle 24 is at it maximum meaning there should be lots of sunspots warming the earth. Instead the sun is eerily silent. During the Maunder Minimum or the last great mini-iceage the same observations were made of the sun. The projections for the current mini-ice age is 30-110 years. No one really knows. Even 30 years will cause a catastrophic hit on our agriculture. 110 years will destroy world economies and relocate a billion people.

We have three events converging on the world which could be catastrophic beyond belief. The ring of fire has lit up in light of magnetic changes to the magnetosphere. One has to realize the molten core under the crust is magnetic material and a weakening magnetosphere caused by a sun that is four phases out of phase is already causing the upper atmosphere to cool and is increasing the movement of the flopping of the magnetic poles.

Secondly we have A weakened magnetosphere which is causing the jet streams to move southward pulling polar vortexs farther south. This will be the major cause of severe cold for decades to come as the sun enters cycle 25 which is highly anticipated to be dead from start to finish.

Third. As the northern latitudes cool dramatically and as Michael Mann has reported the north atlantic conveyor belt is slowing. There is a very real danger these three events could finally throw us into a full blown ice age. Such an ice age saw ice a mile thick setting as far south as Tampa Florida.

A new ice age will be extremely dry and create droughts in the southern hemisphere. The end result will be the near demise of mankind. Estimates are between 5 and 6 billion people will die due to massive blizzards in the northern latitudes destroying all crops yields. Massive doughts in the southern and mid latitudes creating an equally devastating food shortages.

In short the beginning of the end of current civilization could well be upon us. And in the meantime the GREEN NEW DEAL whackos want to be rid of fuel that can keep us warm.

I am prepared. I actually have enough food and supplies to last ten years with more coming every month and to be honest my above scenario plays out in a couple centuries, not a couple years. Never the less. I am betting on an Ice age way more than I am betting on a warming planet with rising levels of oceans. In fact if the next ice age strikes which geologically it is ripe to do so, the oceans will lose 100 foot of depth. You can at some point walk to England from France and the Mediteranean will dry up.

Prepare. Just remember dehydrated food needs water to rehydrate it. So while it has a long shelf life you must also ensure yourself enough water to live for extended periods of time on a limited supply of water.

If the sun is unnaturally quiet during its normal eleven year activity cycle, we have to ask the obvious question: how have President Trump’s policies led to this environmental disaster?

It’s unseasonably cold here, 5º F to start the morning. n It’s sunny, and forecast to make it up to a balmy 22º F!

Thing is, this is the first morning in single digits we’ve seen this winter. We dipped down into single digits, and even below zero, several times in January of 2018, and, halfway through ‘meteorological’ winter (December 1 – February 28) we’ve been warmer than last winter.

Last February was warmer than normal, but last March was colder. Given the ‘normal’ highs for February and March, a warmer February and colder March means warmer temperatures overall; I’ll happily take that!

2018 saw record rainfall for the area, at over 70 inches or precipitation; the normal is about 45 inches. That was a bit too much rain, as my fields and yard were a bit too soggy — the water table isn’t far down on my river bottom land — but it was only a few years ago that the talk was about persistent drought. If this is the result of global warming climate change, I don’t see why I should be opposed to it!

the true power of the declining sunspot activity is not really supposed to hit until 2020 or 2021. Sunspot cycle 25 is expected to be dead. That gives us roughly 11 years of sunspot cycle 25 and 6 years of sunspot cycle 24 of almost dormant activity or 17 years of deadly silence from the sun.

2019 plus 17 years puts the full effects of this cooling 2037-2040. The promising aspect of all of this is that with the cooling the oceans will release their heat cooling the oceans. Scientifically when an ocean releases it’s heat it will sink more Co2 not less. As a result the AGW crowd will lose the battle because cold oceans sink co2 not warm oceans.

The upside is co2 will dwindle during the coming mini-ice age not increase. This can be seen in the lag times associated with all onsets of ice ages. The colder the oceans the less co2 in the atmosphere because the cold oceans are sinking co2.
