Illegal Alien “Dreamers” Attempt To Ruin Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

What better way to attempt to sway people to your plight than to ruin an event people wanted to watch with their kids?

(NorthJersey.com) Several people were removed Thursday after they attempted to block the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as part of a protest to press lawmakers to pass legislation that would allow undocumented immigrants brought to the country as children to stay in the country without fear of deportation.

Protesters demonstrated near West 70th Street and Central Park West on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Several demonstrators attempted to block the parade but were removed by New York police. None was charged.

The demonstration was organized by the Seed Project, a nonviolent organization that aims to be a voice for undocumented immigrant youth and bring them permanent protection from removal.

Great idea: let’s annoy people. A better one would be to ask nicely, rather than demanding.

Among those who demonstrated was 26-year old Osvaldo Rodriguez from Red Bank, a DACA recipient. Rodriguez was born in Mexico and moved to New Jersey when he was 11 years old. He graduated from high school in New Jersey, went to college for a few semesters and now owns a photography business. Rodriguez said he loves baseball, has adapted to the American culture and its values and feels American.

“We just want to give back to this country what this country has given us,” Rodriguez said before the demonstration.

Rodriguez said he wanted to participate in Thursday’s action to draw attention to the situation and the looming deadline that DACA recipients are facing.

That deadline is on them. They shouldn’t be here. And they can blame Obama for instituting an un-Constitutional program which gave these illegals false hope.

“This is the only way that we are going to shift the mindset of people, because we are doing nonviolence,” he said. “When people are sharing a meal in their homes, there are families that are being separated, and there is no reason why, whether you are poor or rich, you should be separated.”

Families are separated all the time when a member is busted for a crime and has to do time. Regardless, the more the illegals like the Dreamers pull stunts the more people are hardened against giving them a chance. If your friend, child, spouse, etc, are browbeating you to do something, are you more or less likely to listen and do that thing? That’s right, less.

Meanwhile, in Canada, “immigrants” are, shockingly, not all that likely to assimilate by learning French in the province of Quebec.

False hope? Had the odious Mrs Clinton won the election, which what everyone had expected, their hopes would have been, if not fully realized, then prolonged for another four years.

So, Osvaldo Rodriguez owns a photography business, huh? Time for the government to seize that, as they kick him out of the country, to at least partially compensate for the tax dollars that he has consumed in using our public schools and colleges.

This should be another tactic used by the government: if we can seize the property accumulated by the illegals, there will be less incentive for them to come here in the first place, or sneak back once they’ve once been kicked out.

Indeed, the oppressed should always check with their oppressors about where and how to protest their oppression!

Laws applied unequally are a hallmark of a totalitarian regime.

Now, now. We do it all the time. A Mercedes in Ladue speeding on 170 gets a pass, while a hooptie at the same speed gets stopped.

August Busch IV was picked up for trying to fly his helicopter while intoxicated. His helicopter contained 8 dogs, several firearms and drugs. Previously “IV” killed a girl in college when he crashed while driving intoxicated. Later a girlfriend died in his house by a drug overdose. He was never charged in these cases.

Tom Jadlowski just killed a woman in NY while he was hunting illegally, but wasn’t even held. Imagine if he had been Black or an immigrant.

Prosecutors make judgements every day about whom to charge and with what.

And of course a functional Congress can actually make things right by changing the law.

      • Dana says:

And if the Congress declines to change the law, allowing the six months President Trump gave to change the law or have DACA protection expire, then it is clear that the will of Congress is not to give the ‘dreamers’ any special consideration or benefits. The ‘dreamers’ should be deported, and the parents who brought them here charged with human trafficking, imprisoned, and then expelled after their prison terms end.

        • Jeffery says:

When Congress refuses to accede to the will of the people they will be replaced. If Papa Doc tRump and the GOP move to deport the Dreamers even more of them will be replaced. That is, unless the tRump GOP consolidates their grip on the throats of our by-the-fingernails democracy and rigs the elections, again. Remember: The far-right is a minority in America.

Right. And Ted Kennedy, driving with a young lady, drove his car into a river. He escaped, left the girl behind and waited 10hrs before calling police. His penalty? Named “Lion of the Senate”.

    • Jeffery says:

      j,

Thanks for reinforcing my point. I’m glad we agree on this obvious fact. In America we do not enforce the laws equally.

Papa Doc trump has almost certainly obstructed justice – any other citizen would already be charged – but we treat real Presidents and almost-presidents differently, don’t we?

Con Men only object to this “inequality” if Black or brown people benefit. Why is that?

  5. Rotterdam says:

As I understand Obstruction of Justice is legally defined:

Obstruction of justice is defined in the omnibus clause of 18 U.S.C. § 1503, which provides that “whoever . . . . corruptly or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication, influences, obstructs, or impedes, or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede, the due administration of justice, shall be (guilty of an offense).” Persons are charged under this statute based on allegations that a defendant intended to intefere with an official proceeding, by doing things such as destroying evidence, or intefering with the duties of jurors or court officers.

Now Im not sure that Trump and company are guilty based upon this legal definition but Hillary Clinton and her destructrion of Blackberries and 1000’s of emails is certainly guilty.

Here is my belief of what is going on. Jeff Sessions either personally or has very close friends that benefited greatly from HRC’s foundation as well as the Uranium one deal. This is why its impossible to get any thing from the DOJ on HRC or anything else for that matter. Secondly the non political arm of the DOJ is full of Obama hold overs who are obstructing justice themselves to defend their corrupt bosses. Obama, Clinton and Kerry.

I surmise that if Sessions starts releasing this stuff that a 100 or more senators, Representatives and insiders go to jail. My guess is Mueller is going to find some dirt on some outsiders like Manafort and a few Trumpies. He is going to find some dirt on a few no body democrats and those people are going to take the Proverbial Sword for Justice while everyone else escapes into the night to keep on keeping on.

The swamp will never be drained until these non-elected officials bite the dust. They are the ones that are fighting Trump tooth and nail. Their very lucrative and powerful lives hang in the balance.

    • Jeffery says:

Maybe you can get Mrs. Clinton impeached. Our feckless and reckless Grand Old Pedophile party has and continues to hound Clinton, and Papa Doc tRump is spitting piss because his AG Jefferson Beauregard Sessions refuses to indict her. Your “belief” that Clinton has “something” on Sessions is one of a thousand opinions. Your “belief” that all things Obama and Clinton are evil, rather than your ample ability to reason, may be driving your position.

In any event, in America it’s very difficult to bring a law-breaking, wealthy white man to justice – and it’s impossible to bring an American President to justice.

  6. Jeffery says:

In the news recently, several powerful men have been credibly accused of sexual harassment and even sexual assault. Some (Weinstein, Rose, Steele, Halperin, Ailes, Thrush, O’Reilly, Toback, Price, Savino, Weiseltier, Oreskes, Tesh, etc), where their actions have potential economic impacts on their companies or organizations, have been fired, suspended or stepped down. Others, mostly politicos (Clinton, tRump, Moore, Franken, Conyers, HW Bush, Filner, etc) either deny the allegations or in the case of Franken, apologize. So far, Bill Cosby is the only member of this rogue’s gallery to be indicted. It seems that men in power use their position to “encourage” young women into sexual situations.

Few are punished unless their actions costs someone money, hardly any are prosecuted, and two were rewarded with the US presidency. One former US President groped at least 9 women, including teenagers. No problem. What are women supposed to think? That powerful white men can get away with anything they want? That women and girls are playthings for powerful men? Maybe all women should carry a nice little pistol and when she feels an unwanted hand on her ass shoot the perp in his tiny balls.

  7. rotterdam says:

    @Jeffery

    Your simply trolling now.

  8. Jeffery says:

    rot,

The point being that powerful white men get away with everything short of murder. And if you’re rich enough you can even get away with murder. Our laws are not evenly applied.
