NY Times Seems Rather Upset By Judges TG School Ruling

If you’ll remember back a few days, a federal judge has placed a block on Obama’s directive that schools allow little boys and girls who feel that they are the opposite sex to use whatever bathroom and locker room they want. The NY Times Editorial Board finally gets around to tell us they are Very Upset

More Attacks On Transgender Rights

Judge O’Connor on Sunday issued a preliminary injunction that prohibits the Education Department from enforcing its guidelines nationwide. In a 38-page order, he barred the federal government from taking enforcement action against discriminatory policies or practices.

The ruling, which the Justice Department is expected to appeal, may lead educators around the country to question whether they need to follow the Education Department’s transgender guidelines as the new school year starts. They would be wrong not to; the rules provide a common-sense approach that makes harassment and stigmatization of transgender students less likely.

These legal assaults on equal protection for transgender Americans are based on bigotry and the specious claim that they pose a threat to the safety of others. The toll exacted on this vulnerable population is heavy and will remain so as these cases and other litigation involving transgender laws move through the courts.

In Liberal World, wanting privacy from being forced to expose your body to people of the opposite biological sex is now considered bigotry. Little girls not wanting to be naked or near naked around biological boys and men is considered bigotry. Funny how Liberals scream about “my body my choice” when it comes to abortion on demand, then turn around and demand that females of all ages be exposed to penis in their bathrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms with no say in the matter.

See, though, it doesn’t stop there. They demand that the gender confused be allowed to use a chosen pronoun. It’s not just calling boys “her” and girls “him”. Or even “they”. Oh, no, these raving wackjobs have come up with a wide range of terms, like ze, zir, Xe, Xem, hir, and so many more

Seriously, it gets even wackier. I wonder what the policies are at the NY Times building. Do the ladies get very upset when an obvious biological male uses the lady’s room? Is this allowed?

Of course, being Liberal World, the gender confusion doesn’t stop with this stuff

This applies to locker rooms, showers, playing on the opposite biological sex sports team, housing, and “other sex-specific activities”. So, anyone can declare they’re gender confused and just head into the showers, etc. of the opposite biological sex for a quick peek and such whenever they want.

We joke about liberalism being a mental disease. That’s coming true, and they’re spreading their insanity and deviancy to everyone, and often by government mandate.

The ruling was based on procedure: the judge stated that the feds had not used the proper procedure in specifying the rules. It was, unfortunately, not a ruling on the merits of the case.

What is it that the editors support? According to the linked editorial, the “guidelines direct educators to:

    1 – investigate harassment of transgender students promptly;
2 – to use pronouns and names consistent with a student’s gender identity; and
3 – to allow transgender students to use restrooms based on their gender identity.”

The first isn’t really much of an issue; no one is saying that schools shouldn’t investigate harassment of anyone.

But the second? Sorry, but calling a male a female is simply a lie, and the feds want schools to tell lies just to make the mentally ill happy.

And the third infringes on the rights of everyone else.

    The editors continued, saying:

the rules provide a common-sense approach that makes harassment and stigmatization of transgender students less likely.

Sorry, but requiring schools and teachers to lie is not common sense, and requiring schools to allow males to use the females’ restrooms, and vice versa, is not common sense, either; it is the antithesis of common sense.

A common sense ‘solution’ to the problems faced by the mentally ill ‘transgendered’ would be to assign them single-occupancy restrooms for use; it would protect them from harassment, at least when using the facilities, and protect the reasonable privacy rights of normal other people. But, for the mentally ill ‘transgendered’, that’s not good enough, because it fails to meet their demands to be labeled as the sex they wish they were, as opposed to the sex that they happen to be.

Of course, the ‘professional’ media won’t report this one!

Johns Hopkins Researchers Warn Against Drastic Transgender Decisions Involving Children

Researchers at Johns Hopkins University cautioned against drastic transgender decisions involving children. In a new study published Monday, they warned that most children who identify with the gender opposite their birth sex do not continue to do so as they enter maturity.

“There is no evidence that all children who express gender-atypical thoughts or behavior should be encouraged to become transgender,” wrote Johns Hopkins University scholar-in-residence Lawrence Mayer and Johns Hopkins University professor Paul McHugh. The three part, 143 page report, published in The New Atlantis, also investigated other commonly accepted ideas about homosexuality and transgenderism.

The report emphasized that “only a minority of children who experience cross-gender identification will continue to do so into adolescence or adulthood.” The authors quoted the most recent American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, which puts the persistence of gender dysphoria among biological males between 2.2 and 30 percent, and the rate among biological females between 12 percent and 50 percent.

Mayer and McHugh admit that some children may have improved psychological well-being if encouraged and supported in their transgender identity, but cautioned that “there is little scientific evidence for the therapeutic value of interventions that delay puberty or modify the secondary sex characteristics of adolescents.”

There’s more at the original. But if their numbers are correct, the majority of ‘transgendered’ students will accept their biological sex as real by the time they grow up.

The GOP ALWAYS loses votes on sex issues. When will they ever learn?

they need to follow the Education Department’s

The long arm of the government telling us what to do.

The GOP ALWAYS loses votes on sex issues. When will they ever learn?

Remind me again why the HOUSE and the SENATE belong to the GOP?

I’m going to start “self-identifying” as a Peer of the Realm and demand that I be addressed as “Your Lordship” and be granted diplomatic immunity.

  7. Dana says:

Normally, you’d be addressed as “Your Grace,” rather than “Your Lordship,” but if that’s what you want . . . .

Eventually in this country they will rule that the NFL has to start allowing women on the Team….Same with the NBA and MLB and soccer etc.

Then when the women start getting mauled by those 350lb guys, the government will say that no man over 200 lbs can play football…then when its still not fair, the government will rule again and again and again…..

Until its fair that Lingerie football with gurly men and gurly women are playing for the NFL….IN PINK TUTU”S.
