The current rise in sea level COULD be caused by the Sun, it’s just not. We can actually measure the Sun’s energy hitting the Earth and it’s clear that the increase in surface temperature and ocean temperature is not because of changes in the Sun.

Sure. As we add more CO2 to the atmosphere it traps more of the infrared radiation, causing the Earth’s surface to warm.

Oh, I see. Although there was a poll that showed that over 99% of skeptics (your deniers?) agree that CO2 is a greenhouse gas and that human emissions of CO2 cause some increase in troposphere temperature.
So I’m lost as to your point “know more than any other denier”. Are you just trying to be funny?
It’s great that 99% of Deniers understand the basic physics of global warming! Would you link to the survey?
Look at the progress Deniers have made. At first they claimed there was no warming (many still do – “It’s cooling!” “Global warming stopped 18 years ago!”). Many now admit to warming but claim it’s a natural (magical?) phenomenon. Now, you tell me almost all Deniers say that CO2 causes warming! So the argument is how much of the current rapid warming is because of the rapid increase in atmospheric CO2.
It sounds to me as if you’re angling toward a face-saving admission that the “Warmists” were right all along. That’s OK. Although US Deniers are responsible for delaying needed changes, better late than never. And there is no good mechanism for holding Deniers responsible for the billions in damage they’ve caused and continue to cause.
It’s also comforting to know that Deniers were Denying for political reasons and not because they were too dumb to understand the physics understood for over a century.
