Say, About That Hottest Year Ever Meme…

(Note: here’s for you, John, since you asked in a comment)

Is 2014 the “hottest year ever!!!!!!”? Paul Homewood takes a look at the real data in comparison to what NASA and NOAA are pushing. Here’s from the Warmists and how they are positioning it

Here’s the satellite data

UAH also shows similar data to RSS.

Besides, even if 2014 was the hottest on record, it still wouldn’t prove anthropogenic causation.

Since you have no idea what the satellites measure, why do you rely on them solely?

The data you posted earlier to make another point showed continued warming. How do you explain the discrepancy? Was the data valid for showing 0.75C warming over the past 120 years but is not valid for showing warming the past 18?

Not one Covian scientist has answered this simple, direct question.

Teach if you believe it is something other than carbon dioxide that is causing the temps to go up
Please let us know but you have to come up with something other than you know it can’t be that
UAT teach do you even know what that means? It is the upper atmosphere and yes the upper atmosphere is cooling because that part of the atmosphere’s temp is directly related to solar irradiance and we are coming to the the end of solar cycle 23
Teach I actually live ON planet Earth not in the upper atmosphere and yes it has been close to record heat here
But thanks for the interesting factoid that the upper atmosphere
is cooling because of a dim sun

You might want to ignore what Rear Admiral jJohnathanWhite Chief Oceanographer and Navigator of the US Navy, Director of the Maritime and Space Domain Awareness had to say during his talk about climate change on Nov 12 at St Mary’s College
I know you probably think he is a Warmist
That long title of his? It just means he is the chief scientist

  4. The other graph at the link is RSS. You know what that is, right? Actually meant to use that photo, not UAH. That said, so what? We were told that the upper atmosphere was supposed to get super hot from AGW. It’s not. It’s similar to ground, lower troposphere, and mid levels.

Of course, you’re engaged in typical misdirection. That’s what Warmists do great. Not best, because you’re best at lying and being brainwashed slugs.

As far as r he navy thing, GC has smacked you around too many times to count, but, if you are so concerned, have you given up fossil fuels and anythi nc that contributes?

“Why was the data valid for showing warming over the past 120 years but is not valid for showing warming over the past 18?” Oh, maybe for the same reason tree ring warming data was ok for M. Mann’s totally debunked “hockey stick” up till 1960, but not good enough for after 1960, because it showed cooling?

  6. Jeffery says:

    j,

“Why was the data valid for showing warming over the past 120 years but is not valid for showing warming over the past 18?”

So you can’t answer or refuse? Stay on topic!

Typical Denialism, though. Teach makes a claim and presents data that contradicts his previous data presentations. Rather than address that bit of information, you change the subject. Classic!

Here’s the irony. Since I look at data, I saw right away how you could explain the discrepancy. It’s amazing that none of the Covian scientists saw it, lol. Deny, Deny, Deny!

Dumb, dumb, Deniers. It would be funny if the stakes weren’t so high.
